Thanks, watched this twice before I did i the 340/330 upgrade (from 312/300) on the F31. Despite having done a bazillion break jobs always good to get a virtual first hand view to make the job easier.
Fantastic job! I had same performance brake kit installed on my F31. It spent me about a day to install all four calipers and rotors. Your work is super clean!
Great video I just would wanna add, that if you take a broomstick or something like that to press the brake pedal while working on the brakes, the lines actually won't constantly leak while you're changing the calipers. And you don't necessarily need a bleeding system, just some help. Get someone to pump the brake pedal and have an eye on the reservoir. Also you should suck all the old brake fluid from the reservoir, fill it with new fluid and try to not only bleed the fluid til the air is out, but until the complete brake line will be filled with new fluid. That way you get the old fluid out that has collected water over time and isn't as heat resistant. No use in stainless braided lines and big brakes, of your fluid can't handle the temperature. But those are just some additions, you did a very nice job and it's a very informative video!
Oh and from guy who also has a mineral grey 335ix, I have to say those red brakes look phenomenal on your car! I kind of don't want to switch to red brakes because I had red ones on my previous car and I find it a bit standard but seeing this really makes me wonder if I'm just being stupid to not do this. Thing is: my rims are black chrome and I have purple lug nuts so I kind of wanted to do something crazy and get green calipers haha.

Chris Ciuc your video was definitely well done and very nicely put together. But I believe you got quoted a little too high on the blast and powder coat. I ended up calling quite a few in my area, most wanted 250 a pair and up so 500+. Definitely looked into it but overall went with new. Absolutely thank you!
Bro! Are they fit for bmw f15?
I do not know but check Bimmerpost forum for brakes only f15. I only really know F30 as that is the only BMW I own. Sorry
Bead blasting and then powder coating your old calipers would’ve been way cheaper, $2000 just to change colors is a bit steep. Your old blue calipers are the same, just blue...
Hey, thanks for the comment. So I priced blasting and coating and it would of been around 500-700, if you add in the rotor set I would of been around $1200. My front calipers where not in great condition so I did well after selling my calipers for $750 on ebay. Thank you for watching the video I appreciate the support.
Chris Ciuc your video was definitely well done and very nicely put together. But I believe you got quoted a little too high on the blast and powder coat. I’ve had some parts powder coated by a local company and his rates are very good and has access to a plethora of colors, would allow you to get very unique.
I ended up calling quite a few in my area, most wanted 250 a pair and up so 500+. Definitely looked into it but overall went with new. So 500 minimum for coating, about 500-750 for good rotors and I was at 1250. Paid about 2k for new and got 750 back in my calipers and selling rotors soon. So overall not too bad, I do agree with you however, could of went with any color and been quite happy that route too. Thank you for your comment I appreciate you.
Are u suru u staar bleeding from right rear ?? There is ABS and u should starf from FRONT LEFT, FRONT RIGHT, REAR LEFT, REAR RIGHT.... damn
Everything I’ve have read is bleed from furthest to shortest
not efficient without specific coding
I did code them
@@BOO5Tchannelhi but you dont explain how and its the most important part otherwise m perf brake were not efficient. i guess you ve done that with esys ?
@@ST-ff5xv I had a remote coding done from a guy named codemyeuro on Instagram about a few weeks after the video. At that time no one had a video with this install and I think only Kies made one almost a year later. If you feel you need to make a video explaining how coding makes a marginal difference if any go for it
We’re did u get the bleeder
Amazon, I also have a new video out on brake job and it’s linked in description!
