Of all the DIY videos of replacing brakes, you are literally one of the few that actually cleans the hub. Its just a simple step that so many miss or skip. THANK YOU!
Just a side note here Brian, make sure to code the DSC with the correct disc size so the ABS/DSC knows when to trigger ABS when necessary. When retrofitting larger brakes/brake discs, you want the ABS to kick in later compared to smaller brakes!

If you can’t find used M3 you can search for the upgraded Msport ones. I’m pretty sure they are the same brakes. There was also a dealer accessory package adding a bigger kit in Orange, yellow or red with slotted and drilled rotors.

I don't know if this applies with a M Sport package vehicle but if you're doing this with the M Performance Brake upgrade on another trim like sportline, you need to code the vehicle by adding SPBR to HO-Wort and code the DSC module.

correct me if im wrong but the M3 caliper is different to this... the caliper used in the video is the m sport brake kit for i think it was 328i and upwards i mean even the part number is different M3 ends with 63/64 and regular 3 series ends with 69/70

I noticed that you only put the brake lube on the back of the pads where they contact the piston. I’ve seen others that recommend also putting the lube on the metal sides of the brakes and on the pins. Is that not necessary?

How did you not have any air in the line while bleeding? You put new lines on and all which were empty then you even pushed the pistons back and emptied it even more, I would think the beginning of the bleed would be all air?!
Did everything and got chassis stabilization error after. I think a wheel hit the front caliper and knocked something out of alignment. Going to get the car back on Jack stands, retighten the caliper, and realign the rotor and see if that fixes it. I need that stud conversion 😑
