Whatever your recording device settings are that’s all you can render. You can’t take original 1080p footage and expect it to render out 4K the only thing that will happen is the file size becomes bigger. If you want to render out 4K footage you need a recording device that records 4K. That goes for any render settings!

If you choose MAGIX AVC (the MP4 preset) you can render with Intel quick sync or with gpu, the render time will decrease significantly

@@xAiimz It will since it's QuickSync H.264 which uses the integrated graphic part of your Intel processor

Yes, HOWEVER... These methods for a given bitrate, especially if you're rendering at a lower bitrate, will (almost) ALWAYS need higher bitrate for the same resolution / framerate. The best performance you'll get is from Nvidia's NVENC HEVC, but the difference narrows as you go to higher bitrates.

I've been using Sony Vegas 14 as of the past year, is 19 worth upgrading to? I wanna possibly fix the pixelated render settings I have with AAC MP4 that I use, but only if I knew 19 can help me. Otherwise, I wouldn't wanna spend $300 nonrefundable if it can't help me.

??? if you are adding something to your raw footage, fx, transitions, etc. you may wish to increase the bit rate up from 16mbps, and 16mbps isn't the best as standard anyway. many cams will do A LOT more.... also, instead of just highlighting the area to render (which creates a loop anyway), just create a loop and in the render page select 'render options' and tick 'render loop region'.... watch out for any tails hanging in the 'loop region' and also just mute any unnecessary video and audio tracks within the loop region.

Why do you set fild order in Upper field first instead of None (progressive)? Doesn't it refere to progressive and interlace frames, so progressive is the best option or am I wrong?

I would not recommend using AVC. It's an outdated file compression and HEVC is superior in almost every instance.
