Dylan, you have put some great videos out and the detail you put with them is top notch. It's people like you that make the train companies sit up & take note of what they are doing wrong and some of them correct their mistakes & some don't. Your future comes before making videos. Videos topics don't last forever, your life is more important. Take care & stay safe
Nothing lasts forever mate - you're still a very young man, who knows what you might do later on. But your twenties are a scary time. You've travelled further than most people, especially at such a young age, and shared it with us. I always looked forward to your videos, whether it was from Huddersfield to Scarborough on a rickety Northern train, or a trans-continental trip on Amtrak in the USA - always brilliant and inspirational. One doesn't really know where life is headed. And it doesn't often end up where you expected. Took some courage to do this video lad, and it shows. As long as this is your decision and not anyone else's, then no one can argue with it. But your content here will remain hopefully, for others to enjoy. All the best Dylan, and maybe we will see you again someday. x
Times change, interests change, and life moves on. Thanks for all the great content you've brought over the last few years, |'ve thoroughly enjoyed your trip reports and rolling stock reviews! Take care :)
It’s ok mate. Life changes and pulls us along. There’s no point doing videos if it no longer brings you joy. Thank you so much for the videos. They have shown me a lot of things I wouldn’t have seen otherwise. I’ll stay subscribed just in case you surprise us with another video at some point in the future. Thanks again. Happy Christmas to you and the missus.
There is no shame in admitting life has moved on and it is time for change. I started watching your videos during the COVID period, it was great to see life outside the house whilst I was locked away (shielding) for my own protection, your videos helped with the mental anguish but time has moved on for me too, post chemotherapy life has sort of gone back closer to where it had been and that means less time available to watch videos. Thank you and good wishes for your future activities.
No mate, thanks to YOU. You allowed us to travel from the comfort of our home during the Pandemic, to dream about a future where travel would be possible again. Thank you so much. Stay safe!
Your videos really have helped a lot of us through a time where travelling was not easy or possible. It's given us all lots of inspiration for future trips and the format of the videos, as so many others have said, was absolutely on point. Thank you so much for all the time you have given to the channel. I know I will continue to refer back to the videos! Wish you the very best of luck for the future and some great rail journeys along the way.
Dylan, it's been a pleasure. Thx for sharing your travels with us. Fully appreciate your situation. In the end we all have one life to live and YT can take a back seat. Wishing you all the best going forward 🙏🏿👍🏿🤗
Hey there from Chicago! Thank you for sharing your travels on the other side of the planet, it makes me sad in two ways; the infrastructure over there is so much better and your taking a break. We will be here if there is anything you wish to share whenever. Safe travels brother! ❤
All things come to an end, and it's time for you to move on. I get that, totally! But I just want to say thank you for the many enjoyable videos of yours. Yours was the first "boys travelling" channel that I came across, and it really helped me during lockdown when I was unable to pursue my then hobby of planning epic railway journeys across Europe and beyond, because the trains simply weren't running! So I watched your channel, and then later a couple of others, and it was an excellent way of assuaging my wanderlust. So thank you, and the best of good luck to you and Elli in your future.
Hey, just want to say your video helped me a lot in sad times. Your video has a feel of relaxation that I will never forget and thanks for making it. I remember everytime I got really sad I just watched your video endlesslly, it was the only thing that made me calm & thanks again.
It’s a shame that I discovered your channel after you stopped posting I’ve recently come across your channel which has been my perpetual escape from reality. I hope you’re having a blessed time in your life outside of the channel
Thank you for all your videos! I had to stop what was my hobby for a bit, as it had become a second job. It was too much. We also all change. Who knows you might come back or you might find another passion. All the best
Dylan, thank you for the huge number of videos. They are great and will be providing entertainment for a long time. You get your priorities sorted but be aware there are loads of us who would welcome anything you do, no matter how occasional they may be. Have fun and enjoy what you move onto. Thanks again.
Thanks for all the content. I've always enjoyed watching your videos. It sounds like you've been a bit burned out and perhaps making videos is no longer a special interest/fixation. Sometimes a special interest/fixations just burns out and there is nothing you can do to make it come back. Keep well and enjoy whatever the next interests bring.
Dylan. I’ve been watching your videos from when you made them ‘silent’. Although I still liked your spoken ones, I preferred the silent ones as they spoke for themselves and told the story. Maybe you might get the zest back when you’ve had a good break to do this type again? I hope so. Be rested and revitalised and hope you come back in the future.
I don't normally comment on your videos but I will this time. I Started watching your videos at the start of the year. I have loved your channel ever since I started watching, and whished I had subscribed much earlier, I always looked forward to your videos every Friday. It's what keeps me excited for the week ahead. I love your honest thoughts and opinions of different trains and different companies, Its great your aren't afraid to show or tell us your honest opinions. You have been my favourite travel Review UA-camr. Even I have learnt, since starting my channel earlier on this year it can be quite demanding. But do what's best for you. I really wish you well, and good luck on your full time job. Come back and film when you feel ready to and you have more time, and you enjoy making them again. Good luck, and hopefully look forward to see your reviews again in the future. I will miss your reviews, I guess I won't see you next Friday either. Thank you !
Do hope you're doing all right , do enjoying watching your videos for the last 2 years I've been watching them, they make me have the hopes of going to them countries and trying them out.
Your content is fantastic and I've loved watching you grow more confident behind and in front of the camera with each trip report over the last 4 years, but I'm thankful that you've made the decision to pause this chapter for now. It can be difficult for some creators who feel they have an obligation to continue what they start creating on something they once loved but has since become a chore; they don't want to anger/disappoint the fans, the likes, views and comments will worth the lack of sleep and self care etc. I'm seeing a few channels now (not just trip reporters!) who are starting to show the 'behind the scenes' of content creating and I'm glad they are; it's a huge commitment of time, physical and mental energy, digital skills and money for high quality equipment for entertaining videos. It's ok to say enough is enough and take time out to recuperate or even re-evaluate your path from time to time when life happens. You've done the right thing for yourself and I wish you all the best for the future wherever it takes you. Thank you for everything and safe travels 😊
It's completely fine that you don't want to do this for a living! I hope you had fun with the time you did spend doing it, we really enjoyed watching them and maybe our paths cross again at some point!
You and the People who watched these videos when they were posted will look back and realise that they were just moments in time recorded for posterity. In a few years time You and We will look back and say did we really travel like that on thoes things and in 10 years plus You and We will look in the mirror and say was that really me. Moments in time are beautiful reflections of our life we lived in, nothing last forever you just have to enjoy the good times and get through the bad times as quickly as possible. THAT IS THE LIFE WE ALL HAVE TO LIVE IN.
You do what you need to. I've taken many breaks with my channel over the years - sometimes life gets in the way or is more important. We'd love to see you come back one day but if not, that's ok too. You don't owe anyone anything. Good luck for the future!
Well done. Travelling by train has become wearing. The train operators have spared no money and effort in making rail travel as difficult and unpleasant as possible. As a final throw, you could round off with the preserved railways.
Dylan, I've enjoyed your videos but it has been obvious for some time that you have been suffering from depression and have let yourself go. Hopefully you will find meaning and purpose in your life again. All the best.
Dont worry life takes over, Dylan. THANK YOU for the memories, for going places we haven't. When and IF you decide to do another video we YOUR fans will be here waiting. It's not good bye just, until next. God bless you and your wife.
Thanks for all the great videos you made. As I heard your words I thaught I was talking myself. I often feel the same like you. I am over 40 and still alone. Job, Money, UA-cam sometimes I feel like everything is eating me up.
Good to know that you give up, please keep the films available and if you suddenly would feel like publishing something again feel free to do so. Bye for now.
Thanks for the vids. If you aren't feeling it anymore, you are certainly right to call it a day. You can only do these things for so long before burn out occurs.
Wherever you go, Whatever you do, I will be right here waiting for your new video 😊 Just come back when you feel ready for it. Good luck in the new job. I wish you to work with very nice people.
Dylan, for the past year I could tell that you didn't seem to be enjoying doing this as much, and it's understandable that you would begin to burn out. As my husband used to say, "When it stops being fun. it's time to walk away". So it sounds like the decision you are making is a healthy one. You have brought so much pleasure to so many - including me. This is just one positive experience in what I hope will be a long life for you. God bless....
Sorry to see you go, Dylan. I've enjoyed watching your videos, but what made them particularly enjoyable was your enthusiasm. And while I *don't* think it's right to say that the _quality_ has dropped off recently - I don't believe it has at all - I do think it was evident that your heart wasn't in it to the same extent that it had been before. That's the way it goes sometimes - things are good while they last, but then they run their course, and the wise thing to do then is to move on, enjoy the memories that you have and the legacy that you've left, and look at what you want to do next instead.
Interests come and go, the experiences stay. I just hope you didnt also lost the joy in travelling itself. Travels are very memorable and can be a teacher of a lot of things. Though we dont know yet if it is a final goodbye (i dint hope so) i still wish you the best for your further journey of life!
I’m well over twice your age and may say categorically that the things I enjoyed then are not necessarily what I enjoy now. Circumstances change, horizons broaden and these affect our world view. So enjoy the ride wherever it takes you.
Found your channel by accident; returned to it by choice. You've done a great job expanding my knowledge and providing interesting information. Thank you for that! Best of luck in your next endeavors...! And it's no worries...things and people change. We all understand ....
Dylan your videos are awesome! We understand that you need to take a step back from the channel. Of course, we look forward to seeing your videos again when time permits. Good luck with your full-time job 👍
Dylan just read your comments and you have a great channel. You definitely know if it is time for a break. You have always put together great content and I have enjoyed and learned from you. Enjoy your time off.
I wish you all the very best, but just let it be known that you have put out videos of the highest quality. No irritating background music, no endless talking to camera. Just quality and that will be valued and appreciated by everybody. Thank you for giving so much enjoyment these last few years.
Thanks Dylan. Enjoyed all your content. If you doubt the quality of your videos, you're wrong. They're great. Good luck in whatever you're doing and again, thanks. Leaving notifications ' on' 😁
Thanks for taking the time to let us know the changes you're making to your lifestyle Dylan. I was recently wondering why your videos weren't appearing on my subscription list - now I know why ! Hope all goes well for you in the future and don't forget at 22 years old you're still a spring chicken! Plenty of time to make other changes to your lifestyle ahead .Thanks for all the content you've brought us on your channel and for keeping us entertained . 👍
Just make a video when YOU want, you know we will watch! Even if it’s just one video a year, concentrate on your job and your life, I’m sure there will be opportunities, where out of excitement, you will want to pick up that camera and record.. and do you know what.. that’s perfectly fine :) thanks for all your videos in the meantime it’s been great pleasure for me and others too.. I look forward to your yearly video .. ;) lol .. take care bud
I really feel for you. Having to make these travel videos week on week must take its toll on you, it can't be sustainable in the longer term. You can always come back to it later on.
It's been really enjoyable to follow your train travels these last few years, but sometimes changes have to happen. I'm sure there's a lot of pressure to produce content every week, especially since yours required travel. Thanks for all the great train rides.
Thanks for all of the great videos you've created and shared with us over the past few years! It's been fun traveling along with you to some amazing places. Things change, life happens, and we outgrow or change how we feel about things in our lives. You seem like a bright young man, and I wish the two of you all the best in the future!
Loved every single video you have made. Sad to see you go, but you, your current life and your future are all more important that your channel. Good luck with whatever you find yourself doing with your life.
Oh Dylan, going to miss your videos, but what a good decision and Brave video. Was inspired by your vidoes to book a big train trip through Denmark and northern Germany into Holland last summer and it was the best thing and best timing ever for me. Two weeks before the trip I ended up in hospital with a serious health diagnosis and I thought the trip, with 14 year old grandson, would have to be cancelled. But it happened and was the best trip at the best time ever. Unfortunately as ever with trains , the ‘highlight’ of the trip, Berlin to Amsterdam, was cancelled, but I made a last minute booking with easyJet and we made it just in time for our booked slot at the Anne Frank museum. And then the ferry back to the UK from Hook of Holland. Nothing goes on forever. Your videos must have inspired and helped a lot of viewers out here and will continue to do so. Best wishes from a granny fan in Norway.
Will miss your weekly travels! But do what makes you happy, and take care of yourself! Plus, we still all have a brilliant back catalogue of videos to enjoy! 😊
Thank you very much for your work. Sometime traveling is not easy. I did a lot of traveling around the world, and it´s fun when you started, but later you get tired, specially waiting for the departure of an airplane, and sleeping in different beds in hotels. I wish you the best, and you have a friend here in Caracas, Venezuela. Merry Christmas.
Hi Dylan, Tony from NYC. Thank you for sharing your train travel videos. We both love train travel. You have taught me and your fans so much about train travel. You'll be in my prayers. Go bless.
Best of luck, Sir! Very few people make a lifetime career out of making UA-cam videos and you gotta move on to what motivates you, and what you enjoy doing now. Thanks' for the content!
I wish you all the best. You are wise to recognise that carrying on with the channel does not fit your current situation, and act according to your current life priorities. Thank you for all the videos; maybe we will meet again!
Total admiration for what you've done and coming to terms with how life changes. Your videos have been stunning, but you need to do what's best for you. Very best wishes for the future.
Dylan, you have put some great videos out and the detail you put with them is top notch. Life moves on Dylan, thanks for entertaining us, its been great to watch your travels both near and far..... and keep safe !
Farewell for now, Dylan! Loved the videos while they lasted! Take good care of yourself! 😊
Take the time you need
Never say never buddy 😊
We'll miss you man thanks for traveling for us during the pandemic we love you come back anytime!

Hello Keith…hope youre well mate!
Farewell, enjoy your future and thank you for all the videos and your time put towards this milestone.
You do what you need to. I've taken many breaks with my channel over the years - sometimes life gets in the way or is more important. We'd love to see you come back one day but if not, that's ok too. You don't owe anyone anything. Good luck for the future!
Good lad. The priority should always be YOU and your wellbeing. Much love.
You have a great portfolio, you continue doing amazing work, take a break, see what you enjoy and be proud of what you have created.

Im over 50 and feel the same way…life is too short to feel this way…in 2024 I will do what I want and not be a slave to work anymore!
Good to know that you give up, please keep the films available and if you suddenly would feel like publishing something again feel free to do so. Bye for now.
Thanks for the vids. If you aren't feeling it anymore, you are certainly right to call it a day. You can only do these things for so long before burn out occurs.

I really feel for you. Having to make these travel videos week on week must take its toll on you, it can't be sustainable in the longer term. You can always come back to it later on.
Man, I just want to tell that I loved your videos. Just stay safe, because it's the most important thing.
Really hope you come back
Always grateful for the excellent content over the years. You've done a lot of good work. Good luck with your next ventures.
Thanks really enjoyed your videos 😊
An unscheduled stop, but any 'tuber can hit the buffers and get derailed but your videos have been just the ticket.
Just enjoy your life!
It's been really enjoyable to follow your train travels these last few years, but sometimes changes have to happen. I'm sure there's a lot of pressure to produce content every week, especially since yours required travel. Thanks for all the great train rides.
👍
enjoyed your work Dylan. Don't feel bad, everything has a season🙏
Thanks for all of the great videos you've created and shared with us over the past few years! It's been fun traveling along with you to some amazing places. Things change, life happens, and we outgrow or change how we feel about things in our lives. You seem like a bright young man, and I wish the two of you all the best in the future!
I always enjoyed them, even the latest ones.
Missed your videos
Go bless.
NOOO DYLAN😭😭
Best of luck, Sir! Very few people make a lifetime career out of making UA-cam videos and you gotta move on to what motivates you, and what you enjoy doing now. Thanks' for the content!
Goodbye
Hey! Always enjoyed keeping track of you travels! Thank you for making my life more enlightening! Best wishes to your future projects!
Take care Dylan
I wish you all the best. You are wise to recognise that carrying on with the channel does not fit your current situation, and act according to your current life priorities. Thank you for all the videos; maybe we will meet again!
Thank you, Dylan! It’s been an enjoyable few years! I’ve loved all your videos and will miss you! Best of luck to you in you next endeavors! 👍🏻
Take your time Dylan brother and hope you will come back in youtube again😊😊❤❤.
Total admiration for what you've done and coming to terms with how life changes. Your videos have been stunning, but you need to do what's best for you. Very best wishes for the future.
That's a shame.. I used to love watching you because you often started from Bradford interchange :(
