wow - yea, this is a beast
Just bought this along with Ed Marlo's Revolutionary Card Technique. It will be a long while before I'm ready for them but I've become accutely aware of the limited print-runs of card magic books and really do not want to get caught in one of the dry periods where these could be scarce.

That book has been on my wish list for a while now, I ended up getting the five points of magic first - I should review THAT one also
@@magicorthodoxy Five Points is on my wishlist but it seems to be out of stock in most places. I do have The Magic Rainbow on the way though, along with Card College Light (based on your recommendation) and Volume 1 of The Magic of Ascanio. Lots to read!

By the way David a good book, if we're talking about hard sleights is ' If an Octopus Could Palm' by Dan and Dave is a great book, that one just makes me cry of how hard it is.

@@magicorthodoxy a guy working at the Art of Play store said D&D is planning to release a paperback version and the cards that were in the mystery decks.
I tried to find the footage but forgot the name,. There is the ONLY known video of Ernest fooling arround with cards with friends here on UA-cam.
And about the book, someone sad it is a great book, in theory tho, because no one is able to actually perform those sleights ;)

They only had one copy and it was a few hours from my home - so I couldn't tell you
Can all these effects be performed with a regular deck or do you need any gimmicks duplicates or gaffs?
The main emphasis is regular cards. I believe there is a card trick that uses a coin, but it's still a card trick. There are some gambling demonstrations as well and some amazing card routines. Just know that the tricks are very difficult to do.
