I had Manatees come up to my boat when anchored in Salinas last week. The float looked peaceful. We are heading east into the Virgin and French Islands

When I worked at a resort on St. Thomas, as a bartender, the rum was less expensive than the coke so we filled up the glass with rum and put a shot of coke on top for the rum cokes. This was 60 years ago.

It’s an OC Tender! They are very cool little boats
not a “pine” tree. its in its own family. Casuarina equisetifolia, or as we in florida called it Australian pine. needles aren’t needles but modified leaves. could also be one of the few other species of the family
