I love the dry erase markers too. I found some small ones there last week that actually have a little dry eraser on the end. I bought them and two small dry erase penmanship boards for my granddaughters. They love it. They practice writing on one side and the back is blank, so they use it to draw on. It was great, they sat and entertained themselves for over an hour.
I discovered years ago that Dollar stores are the best place to make gift bags for kids. Especially if you go out to a holiday party with kids at a restaurant. I filled two bags as gifts for small children, belonging to coworkers, and took to a holiday party at a restaurant one year - BIG HIT! It had sticker books, crayons, coloring books and small toys easy to play with on a table. The kids played over two hours with that stuff, while we ate, drank and visited.
Now I buy colored pencils, notebooks & paper with a clipboard, to keep in the car for my grandkids to use when we go places. Dollar stores ROCK when it comes to keeping kids entertained!
pill seperators work great for squeeze tube water color paint.
OH this is great! It's one thing to show stuff from different stores that could be gone, but you show us what you look out for. I like it!
I love this video! I tend to wander around Dollar Tree knowing that they probably have what I need to organize with, but I don't know what it is or where it is. Now I do! Plus extra things I never thought about, like baskets in the fridge. I have such a terrible time with stuff being stuck everywhere and falling back behind other stuff.
I picked the up those colored drawer dividers you said were new to you when I moved into my new apartment 2 years ago. Part of my kitchen colors is red and I bought red ones for my sliverware drawer and a couple of shorter ones for the drawer with the bigger utensils. They're pretty and do a great job.

Loved this video! Dollar Tree is my addiction...lol! Thank you for showing what organizing bins/containers to use foe certain jobs. I always go to this section and just stand there wondering how I could use them! 😊
I divided my drawer in my 5 drawer upright dresser with office supplies. I worked at a big office and we went through cases of paper and 500 ct boxes of envelopes. I would bring the empty boxes home and use them. The envelope boxes I would cut completely in half the long way. Then place them back to back in the center of my drawer to divide my dresser drawers in half. The cases for paper are used on the shelf in my closet to keep jeans, sweat shirts, sweaters and keep the piles from falling over. Spray paint boxes if you want symmetry in color.
I just got back home from the dollar store right after watching your video, I got a lot of containers that you mentioned, I can't wait to organize my cupboards and my refrigerator. Thanks a million!

Okay great organizing tips, but my favorite part of the whole video was the look on Carson's face when you guys are doing the "eerily creepy goodbye" and then as soon as he is out of frame he says, "bye-bye" my heart just melted! :-)

These are the kinds of ideas I need! Yes, I would just love to have a well decorated, beautiful home, but, getting real here, it's not going to happen at this particular time. The kids are grown and I find myself trying to reorganize a new home that, for once, I'd like to keep organized. At my old age, I can't find stuff as it is and need this sort of thing! So, appreciate the inexpensive tips!
I love the ending!!! So cute and eerily creepy NOT!! lol Your son looks just like you and is adorable!! I have to tell you those baskets with the handles I was just thinking I should do a video as I bought two a couple of years ago. I bought them for my grandson and son as they were living with me so they could put their snacks in them. But, I now have been using for over a year as my spices and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I am in a studio apt so the area left to use was the half shelf under a bar area so I just reach in grab the baskets and have my spice I need right away while cooking!!! I am thinking of using more on top shelf of cabinet where it is hard to reach since I am short. And small space storage for pantry is a set of cabinets that are three shelves and they are narrow and not wide at all. Except under bar is Tupperware with flour, sugar, rice, etc. and olive oil, vinegars, etc. Wish we could see more small space organization. Thanks for your videos!!!

Kathryn, those cute plastic organizers around 1:40 that you pulled out are great for your fridge! I have one for each of my kids, and I use them to place their snacks for the week in there. I just individually package up cut carrots, whole apples, cheese slices,etc and put enough in there for the week. When the kids are hungry between meals, they're free to get one item out of there. I don't have to worry what they're getting into, because I already know! :-) (they know to ask before getting in there, but even if they ever did just eat it all...it's ALL healthy, mostly produce. Not a big deal.)
love the wipes tip! I use vinegar for lots of stuff. inside toilet bowl, pour in when washing clothes, makes them nice and soft also takes some stains away!

I love the dollar tree! I was just there yesterday. I'm lucky, the dollar tree is walking distance from my house. Your store has so much more of a selection, I'm jealous! I just bought the bright green draw dividers.
Kathryn, I love this video! You and I are in a similar place in life. I'm in my late 20s, I have a 1 year old, I work for a school, and I LOVE organizing but I don't want to spend lots of money doing it! Thanks for a great "follow me" that included loads of helpful ideas & was never boring. I think that I may buy some of the handled bins for my fridge.

Great ideas!! I use the blue container with a handle for my salad dressings. That way I'm only taking one thing out of the fridge when we eat salad (which is often). Instead of putting multiple bottles away. Fun tips. Tfs!

I use the daily pill keepers for my craft glitter. A different color for a different day!!

If you use wet erase markers (Vis-a-vis by Expo for example...teachers used to use them on overhead projector sheets) then they won't wipe off with your fingers when you grab the bins but will wash off with a wet cloth/paper towel or when you wash the bin in the sink. I tend to use those for things like my dry-erase calendar and when I work with clients who do worksheets multiple times, that way the answers don't rub off before they can show me!

Love the idea of those pull out baskets for yogurt & organizing the fridge....my yogurt always gets pushed to the back then I forget it's there lol

I like the metal towel hangers over the door. I put felt on mine so they do not scratch the doors.

I love watching all of your videos. Everything in the dollartree where I live (Canada) is $1.25 which is still pretty cheap. I can't wait to have a house of my own that I can organize using your tips :)

Very useful information...none of the 3 Dollar Tree's I go to have nearly as much stuff as the one you go too (jealous)!!! It drives me CRAZY that I can't find those plastic containers with the handles. Great video...TFS.

I'm from Canada we have dollar tree but it's everything for a dollar twenty five. I need to check if they have what yours has so I can organize my coboards better. your tips are great.
I got those little organizers that fit in drawers (that you had't seen). I got them months ago for my kids drawer in the bathroom. (I have a girl & a boy), so I got a green & a pink for their toothbrushes/toothpaste. My daughter has like 10 toothbrushes... Anyhow the little organizers work GREAT!!!
But I also have the bright (teal) over the door hooks. They'd probably work great, except for that they are sooooo thick, I cannot shut the door! So I don't recommend d them.

Love your channel! Was curious if and how you used the stackable bins to organize inside your cabinets (the ones with wide mouth where items are accessible without having to move the bins!). I don't see the wide mouthed bins at my dollar tree but they have a narrow one that's also stackable. Those are great for narrow and tall spaces!

Subscribed because of the analogy XD I'm moving to Germany and i will be happy to say, they have one euro shops / places in stores there as well!!! i made my fiance (he's working there already) look around the city for them XD They also have an obsession for paperwork which is why i feel like i belong there :D lol.
