Great tips as always, but if you have a 3 story home, you def want a broom and dust pan on each floor - if I have to go downstairs to get the tools to clean something up, it's probably gonna be a while before that cleaning chore gets done if I don't have the tools right there ;-)
Heck, I'm 5' 10" and I need a step stool to get to the top of my kitchen cabinets. They go to the ceiling and there are really only three usable shelves. What were they thinking?!
I'm 4' 9.5". Imagine that. We have a step ladder by cosco. It hurt to use it to hange the kitchen curtains. It's a 1 story, yall with avg. hight ceilings. I needed a real ladder. It stinks. I need a ladder to change light bulbs in some spots.
4'10" chiming in here....when you move to a new place, you always have to take your little step ladder that you need in the kitchen. Some of us are lucky to have spouses or family members that are taller and can bring down things for us.
Often we keep things that are useful but are of no use to us specifically. How many of us keep clothes or shoes that don't fit for that day that never comes... taking up valuable drawer or closet space and/or tote bins stored out of sight out of mind 👀
I have a small, shallow drawer. I have to roll mine, but they all fit nicely. My kitchen washcloths drawer is even smaller-only 4 inches wide. I roll them too, and they look all adorable rolled so tiny and neat. ☺️
I use the Dollar Tree toothbrush holders for my razors! It truly saves space!! And, I use those sponge holders at the Dollar Tree for my bath soap! They have holes on the bottom for water to drain. This keeps the soap from getting slimy and they hang on my shower walls saving even more space! It also helps the soap last longer! Thanks for all your videos! JimG
Been watching your videos for a couple of years now and have definitely gotten on the decluttering bandwagon 😊 especially when we were quartentined i realized how much stuff we were living with. One of our biggest declutters was letting go of the idea we had to have a guest room. Being honest with ourselves that no one stays over our place so it was a waste of good space. We reclaimed it for our hobby room. My husband gaming stuff and i turned the closet into a crafting center for myself

I have recently become concerned about nanoplastics and microplastics. So… I am getting rid of plastic containers and using glass. Thrift stores are great sources.

I have a drawer to the right of my stove that was designed by a 2 year-old! The reason I say this because in order to access this drawer You have to remove 2 stove knobs So it will open all the way. I'm not sure who designed this drawer in this way, but clearly they were not thinking. Thankfully I don't drink tea that off often,, but When a few When a few friends come over they Get to see the joy Of me opening up The T. bag drawer!friends Instead of putting my silverware in it as it was intended, I used the thin silverware baskets From dollar tree and put my tea bags in it. My silverware is kept in an Upright turntable organizer On my dining room table. Thank you so much for your expert advice on organizing with dollar tree items. I love your videos ! Keep up the great work!! 💙

I got a lazy Susan cabinet on my only top corner cabinet. It has 3 shelves. I use it for overstock spices ( I have a spinning countertop spice rack), and can goods.
Amazing ideas as usual, matched by your caring. Please, please do a video on organizing a freezer. We have two upright freezers. I put all the newly purchased food items in front and they are what I reach for. The poor items in the back aren’t used and when I clean out my freezers, they have to be tossed since they are way past the expiration date! What a waste.

I have exactly the same small pantry in my kitchen. I added 2 shelves on the top because want more storage space:). One the same wide and another very narrow. On the front shelf is visible what is on the shelf. But on the other side not visible what is on the shelf. I put labels on the bottom of shelf and keep there what use very seldom in my kitchen.

I have a can rack for soup cans and everything else is a free for all. I have to remove items to see what I have and items get forgotten in the deep dark of this cabinet. I looked around IKEA in hopes that had some ideas I could glean but even they can’t seem to help with this style of cabinet. Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated ❤
That bureau behind me was what I had as a girl growing up. The set was white and I hated it. I n=now wish I still had it. 😢 Love that closet! I've been rolling by kitchen towels for years!
Looks great but I have three of those pantries. One for food, one for cleaning and laundry supplies and another for pool towels ,storage for toilet paper paper towels , hand towels , cleaning rags and small coolers etc etc etc
I wish my dollar store had some of these and plus my dollar store isn’t $1.25 anymore they’re getting expensive they shouldn’t call it the dollar store in my opinion. But always very formative of what you share! Like the tips for the space above the oven we can use those ideas, thanks! 😊💜

I love pull out drawers but those bins with handles might be a good replacement. In my small kitchen, cabinets do not go to the ceiling, so I have labeled, white, photo boxes stacked on top. I would prefer cabinets that went to the ceiling, but the boxes create neat storage. I do NOT like corner cabinets, especially with the tiny door. If I can find a matching door, I will cut a hole in the back because that cabinet is not against a wall.
I really took a lot away from this particular video!! Once again, I started decluttering my small one-bedroom apartment. I just have way too much stuff (actually, one of my issues is going to the Dollar Tree and buying multiples of things there *-just in case-* cleaning products - I'm looking at you)! LOL! Anyway, I am someone who now realizes that if it is *out of sight,* it is most definitely out of mind due to my ADHD. I do not always like the idea of a completely clear see-through organizer, so I caught that you had labeled your plastic/flexible tubs, and I love that idea! That way, I can keep things together and still know what's inside. (Of course, that's a pretty easy concept, but it really just hit me how great that would work for me personally.) I also really appreciate that you spoke about the cabinetry over the stove and around the high cabinets in small older apartments. I am 5'4, so it is frustrating standing on tippy toes just to pull down anything - I like the idea of bins with handles! Always great! 👍
Awesome tips! I have a weird shelved closets in my hallway; the sad benefit of living in a 1960's home. I have an odd deep corner cabinet with no lazy susan. I hope to declutter my whole home especially the kitchen before my new baby is delivered. I hope you have a great day!
Your organization is unique and functional, alot of people have stuff they don't ever use and it takes up space for more essential items. I am always on the go camping and more or less keep essential items nothing else

I've got a tip for those wire shelves: put the Dollar Tree Flexible cutting boards on the shelf first! Things can't fall down now!

I love pull out drawers but those bins with handles might be a good replacement. In my small kitchen, cabinets do not go to the ceiling, so I have labeled, white, photo boxes stacked on top. I would prefer cabinets that went to the ceiling, but the boxes create neat storage. I do NOT like corner cabinets, especially with the tiny door. If I can find a matching door, I will cut a hole in the back because that cabinet is not against a wall.

Once again, I started decluttering my small one-bedroom apartment. I just have way too much stuff (actually, one of my issues is going to the Dollar Tree and buying multiples of things there *-just in case-* cleaning products - I'm looking at you)! LOL! Anyway, I am someone who now realizes that if it is *out of sight,* it is most definitely out of mind due to my ADHD. I do not always like the idea of a completely clear see-through organizer, so I caught that you had labeled your plastic/flexible tubs, and I love that idea! That way, I can keep things together and still know what's inside. (Of course, that's a pretty easy concept, but it really just hit me how great that would work for me personally.)
I also really appreciate that you spoke about the cabinetry over the stove and around the high cabinets in small older apartments. I am 5'4, so it is frustrating standing on tippy toes just to pull down anything - I like the idea of bins with handles!

Awesome tips! I have a weird shelved closets in my hallway; the sad benefit of living in a 1960's home. I have an odd deep corner cabinet with no lazy susan. I hope to declutter my whole home especially the kitchen before my new baby is delivered. I hope you have a great day!
Your organization is unique and functional, alot of people have stuff they don't ever use and it takes up space for more essential items. I am always on the go camping and more or less keep essential items nothing else
