please if u are experiencing holi do it through the private parties organised by most clubs I wouldnt play Holi with strangers on the street even as a guy
we, rest of the indians are so embarressed for how people treated you that day😞 mam holi is the only indian festival when you should not step out of your place to see how indians celebrate it.. it gets very wild and intense sometimes because most of the people are in inebriated state that day.. in a country of 1.5B people some people like these will be in every city.. but salute to you who kept calm even after all that🙏
I dont blame anyone, I know its a very intense day and people can be a bit out of control so all “good” 🙏🏼 next time I would just attend a private holi event to wnjoy it a bit more and get a better experience. Guess I need to come back!😃
@@aylinkko for sure mam.. but this time try to visit india for 'diwali' festival (it comes around late october - november).. india would be happy to host you🙏 and now that we follow you on insta too so posting a story about your india's travel prior to your visit would be great so that we can help you with the itinerary.. Because India is so diverse it wont be possible for a foreign tourist to figuere out where to visit and where to not just by searching for places on google. 🤗❤️sending love from india
We know you are not blaming but we also know they touch wrong way, all are motherfuckers. Specially in Delhi but that is not true India plzz don't misunderstand us Here people treat as a queen to foreign girls. Everyone is humble kind helping. But in some parts like Delhi, and majority muslim areas, you have to care. May Krishna bless u. @@aylinkko
Thank you for exploring India and I hope you guys will enjoy your trip. I'm from India, and I'd like to offer you a piece of advice. I'm sorry about the misbehavior you faced. Please consider avoiding playing Holi with the unknown men in street crowds, and feel free to firmly say no to them (same with the selfie also if you are not comfortable). Some people are drunk during these occasions, so their behavior can be unpredictable (even Indian women typically play Holi with people they know and don't allow those they don't trust to join). It is safer to play Holi with women ( You might have observed women playing Holi in the female group or with the people they know).
We apply oils on body and hairs, coconut or mustard oil so that colours don't stain much. Also after playing you should keep your skin moisturised with oils or creams, this will help stains to fade faster
Welcome to India but you have come to India for a very short time. To enjoy this place, you should do a tour of at least two months and you should come after making a good choice. If you are coming in summers, then choose hill stations and if you are coming in winters, you should go to the plains. I hope you will definitely come to India again and take a good experience from here. 🙏🌷♥️🇮🇳💖🌹🌟💯
I dont know why foreigners play holi on streetss...its best to go to some club or private parties.. Even as indian, i will not play holi on street with strangers... Foreigners must know, that we 99 percent indians both girl or boy, play hoili with family and neighborhood people , not with random guys on street. I know what you experienced is wrong , but we should be safe from our side also. Holi festival is basically a festival with friends, neighbors , family and enemies ( to forget the past and move forward), but not with strangers
your behavior is very nice but every guys not good for u in crowd. So please take care of yourself. Keep distance and tell this bad behav to stop immediately. Then in India no one can touch you without your permission. But every Indian not bad for u. Please understand. Dear🙃
U can visit south India u can see variety of different foods temples heritage and culture especially Kerala and Tamil Nadu , goa, Karnataka , Hyderabad it's amazing Kerala, munnar, kochi, wayanad, Ooty, coimbatore, manglore, Gokarna, Coorg, Bangalore, Mysore, Alleppey, Udupi, Chennai, Karnataka, Kodaikanal
I always ask foreigners who are traveling to india to always google every detail about each and every event. Some men in India are not very well civilized with respect to interaction with female especially foreigner. So please do a thorough research on it before going in public areas on such festival.
10:03 Those are permanent ( Tough not actually permanent but they will take 3-6 Days to get off your skin ) colors. Now after Government regulations it has been reduced but still many people get them from local manufacturers. You are lucky you didn't encounter that otherwise there are this Mischievous group that will Gang up on you and Apply those Colors ( Apparently they think its Okay because of Holy ) on you.
5:27 you should not stand in one place on Holi in the streets, you have to move. if you be in one place people will come to you as you are white. on Holi many Men are drunk like crazy, some of those who usually do not drink or do any drug also drink on holi. so you meet more crazy people on street. i am male from India and I do not go out in street to play Holi because i do not like this type of crazyness
Hilly areas of India or Nepal, you will have better experience of holi in the streets. Don’t try that in plain especially gangetic plain areas of india. If you want go for middle class areas where you see nice apartment complexes, there could be private parties where you could probably crash in but be careful always coz most of them are drunk so always keep your guard up.
Go Private Parties on Holi not go on Streets as a Foreigner on holi. You can go on street on Diwali 🪔 Aur In jase logo ko Saja honi chahiye. Bina Ladki ki Marji ke log unhe colour nahi laga sakte
When you next time celebrate Holi then you make a male friendship during Holi and don't enter any street party 😢 and also don't enter any private party without locals and sorry for this misbehave but by the way welcome to India ma'am 😊
Ma'am, this festival of colors has been marred by the actions of some illiterate individuals. On the holy occasion of Holi, some ignorant people, in a drunken state, misbehave and harass single women, especially in certain local streets. As an Indian, I feel ashamed and very angry at the indecent acts of these individuals. If a single woman is accompanied by a male friend on Holi, she can celebrate the festival without any safety concerns. Otherwise, single women can enjoy the festival by attending private events where food, music, and personal security are provided by the organizers, attracting a crowd from the educated class. In the future, you can book tickets for local events through Book My Show and enjoy the festival with peace of mind.🙏🇮🇳🌸
Avoid playing holi with unknown people on streets rather than play holi in a resort with few people around. On holi people are drunk so avoid roaming on the streets.
@@aylinkko yes after all you are a woman and faced awkward moment in crowd suppose if there would be a man and someone touch like that he also felt uncomfortable.... Anyway we are Indians but we know that some people need to educate they had no etiquettes
umm for calmer experience never celebrate it in plains , for that people usally go places with higher elevation or ticketed event .. Never delhi or rajasthan streets , maybe ticketed pool parties
There are some bad apples you can find every where... Being Indian, we apologise for someone touching you inappropriately.. No one can put a colour on you without your consent.. it would be safe for travellers to get along with someone who are playing Holi with family or couples..Avoid with group of boys... Also apply coconut oil all from head to toe so that color doesn't stay on your body..
Most of the male know their limit, and they dont cross the limit...Here hugging or elope is completely against the Indian culture, specifically man hugging stranger woman
@@guruprasad6982I completely understand where you're coming from and I completely agree with you on it. But the problem is not Holi but the attitude and behavior of the men that have defamed this festival by their terrible actions. And as a North Indian I completely accept that we have less Civic sense than South Indians.
No one spares anyone on Holi.Private space doesn't exist in Holi. We threw water balloons and colour to everyone on streets. So as a foreigner it was intense for you. Next time please attend a private party.
No no...sorry.... You should not go to unknown crowd for holi... Its okay among your friend or in a socity... Its like going to a club single while drunk... Its not an intelligent step...
Sorry if you feel Awkward it is advisable to celebrate it in organized Clubs or with Family memebers. Actually during this Festival many people are intoxicated with Bhaang ( Weed based Drink - the only way you can legally consume Weed) so sometimes people go beyond their limit for example throwing Water Ballons on People going on 2 wheelers. Or somtimes collapsing on stranger ( Happened to me once when this one Stranger girl Sitting next to passed out on me - It really gets Awkward 😅 )
All are drunk should have asked someone before going out even I buy pass for 500rupees and go to a private party instead of roaming randomly around these streets
People touching your chest are really not the people who represent our culture, they are vile creatures who are just there to create an unsafe environment for women. But yes people are rough on you during holi and its pretty common and you shouldnt bother yourself about that unless they are doing something really questionable. You can always go to clubs to celebrate but you would actually miss out the real vibe of holi
I agree. Sophistication in clubs always lacks the "bare" beauty on the local streets during Holi. People become weird and frank, but that's the fun, actually. "Beasts" who disrespect women can be found anywhere; women must raise voice on that matter. But this is not related to Indian culture. Holi has great mythological significance. They do it on purpose. They need views & content. I seen a ton of them lately around here vlogging & everything they post about India is negative.
It's a shame it's not as friendly and happy as in Indonesia 🤣🤣
Compare the population.. there will be always one person defaming the pious festival 🤦
