Dresser did NOT take over at ISU when Brands took over at Iowa. He took over at VaTech
Brent Metcalf is the reason why behind the scenes he's great coach
Yeah, Dresser took over in 2017, ten years after Brands.
Yes, and will always be behind the scenes. @@anthonydelgrosso4818
I came straight to comments when I heard that🤣
Besides Cael, Brands is the best thing to happen to PSU.
How is that? Iowa was kicking everyone's ass under Brands until PSU hired Sanderson. Iowa State not making sure they kept Sanderson is the only reason PSU finally started having some real success. Whenever Sanderson leaves or retires is when PSU will slip back into the mediocrity it always had before Sanderson took over.
@@1voltard4ever7says the mediocrity. Who says PSU will drift back to mediocrity?
@@1voltard4ever7it’s gotta suck to suck😂
@@1voltard4ever7 LOL. WAS is the key word. It's ALWAYS an Iowa STATE grad that goes on to be legendary in the coaching ranks (Sanderson and Gable).
@@1voltard4ever7 There is an assumption there that if PSU is no longer dominant that it will be Iowa who once again dominates the sport. That is far from garaunteed. A generation of kids will have grown up with Iowa not winning titles (individual or team). The next top school could be anyone, but lets face it, it's probably gonna stay PSU for a long time.
As a PSU fan I hope he stays lolol
Because you know if they get a new coach theyll be a bigger threat
Yes, Iowa keep the mad midgets forever .
No he's a passionate coach
Forget Taylor. The man has a farm and a young family. He has a wrestling school. He has money. He is going for Olympic gold again this year. He would be nuts to give that up to move to Iowa.
Forgot to add where Iowa is on the political spectrum. DT would be a cultural misfit in that red wasteland of MAGA fools.
Iowa has plenty of farms too. I agree with you, but DT wouldn’t pass up Iowa because he thinks he can’t have a farm, family and kids club there…
@@psu7276We're talking wrestling but you couldn't help yourself and had to inject politics into the conversation. In that case Iowa would be better option than a blue wasteland of America hating liberal turds like yourself.
That- coming from a brainwashed, leftist, hypnotized by his /it’s stupid f’ing television. M as ga fool? That coming from a complicit kiddie groomer? Apparently quite ok with drag story hours for innocent kids!
You sick, mentally ill freak (democrat)!
@@psu7276 Cultural misfit? Then what is a Mormon (Cael) doing at Penn State, libtard?
Keep him and his brother. Guaranteed wins for Penn State.
Nobody else is beating Penn State either.
Cael and Crew have a Different way of Training, Mentoring, and taking care of their guys in general, sure people are beat up, but damn Iowa has been banged the hell up in the last few years, more so than any other time I can remember and I grew up in Iowa and have been a Life Time fan. They need to fix something, because guys can't succeed when they are so banged up all the damn time.
And Dresser was at VA Tech and then Iowa State in 2017
Hawkeyes have always been taught to wrestle hard and smart which worked for many many years but how the sport has really evolved over the last 2 decades they need to train different and I think that would come with a younger coach that has been wrestling in more recent years. I’d love to see a young guy like Lee take over in time but don’t think he’s ready for that in his career yet or at his age now.
Also recruiting comes into play as well and who they’re bringing to their campus.
From a coaching perspective hard to judge if you’re only going off team and individual champions not all the other guys having great seasons and placing still. For example John Smith hasn’t won a team championship since 2006 and only had about 4-5 Individual champions in the last decade. In comparison Brands has 1 team championship and 3-4 individual champions specifically in the last decade. It doesn’t mean these guys haven’t done great things in their career for their programs and for the great sport of wrestling. But I do agree it’s time for Hawkeyes to bring on a new younger coach to let the program evolve.
As someone who does not like Iowa wrestling, I am hoping they keep the Brands.
And why is that?
Same
Same lol
@@Chitown312because he doesn’t like Iowa, and the program is going down hill, meaning his dislike for Iowa is satisfied by Iowa losing more and more?
@@michaelnorth2055 And why is it going downhill when they just won a team national championship 3 years ago, won 6-8 individual ncaa national championship 1st places in the last decade, were a dynasty team within the last 15 years, and have had many other wrestlers who placed?
If you compare every team to Penn State which I’m guessing there’s a lot of bandwagoners, then every college team would be bad in your eyes. I guess Oklahoma State and John Smith are horrible too since they haven’t won one since 2006? Not true and not how you measure the sport, they’re still a big staple in wrestling and done great things with their program regardless whether you like them or not. From a college wrestler I can tell you that program still has some rock solid wrestlers and great talent.
Brent Metcalf would be a great choice for Iowa. It’s obvious he knows how to coach and is the biggest contributor to ISU finishing above IOWA at the NCAA’s this year. Not to mention he’s fantastic on the mic (watch my interview with him) and is young enough to work with guys. Fantastic guy who embodied Iowa style better than anyone.
I was thinking about Metcalf.
I like Tom Brands, but his methods just aren't working for a top wrestling program.
Give CAEL 10 million a year, a farm and lake stocked with mosters and his family. He will never lose. He is the reason psu is what it is and if he leaves they will follow him.
@@eddys.razorxp6445 Then you just have Penn State in IA. Not an option even if Cael does it for free.
We just can't make wrestling into mono culture of Cael Sanderson. Not good for wrestling or Cael.
Different personalities are good and interesting, but Brand, Smith, Ryan, et al seem to be stagnant in a method so many of these young elite wrestlers aren't interested in. When backup wrestler Kasak gets 3rd at the ncaas, this shows how stacked Penn State is.
Young Coaches need to step up and create their own brand. There needs to be parity. Wrestling as a whole should look like the 125lb weight class this yr.
Unpredictability with 5 teams vying for #1 is what will make it super exciting, not 3 teams scrambling to see who gets 2nd.
Right now most of elite recruits want to go to Penn State, so Cael doesn't even have to recruit.
I think what Cael will do is cause a new era of coaches that will be able to draw away some of these elite wrestlers from him so all the eggs won't be in the same basket.
The Kevin Jackson era at Iowa State was bad. Lowest of lows in the program. But Dresser did not come to Iowa State the same time as brands. In fact, Brands has been there 10 years longer, as Dresser didn't arrive until 2017. If you want to blame someone for Iowa State's downfall, it's Kevin Jackson. The program has been on a massive upward trajectory since Dresser has been there. And I'd bet a lot of money they'll place higher than Iowa for the next several years with the young talent they have in the room. Sure, your statistics may be right, but your facts aren't.
Iowa needs to give the elite of the elite wrestlers a reason to look in their direction. Seems like Brands is having a negative effect on that
The problem is that brands has not adapted to caels dominance and style. Instead of learning from what Cael is doing, he’s doing the same shit gable did in his tenure, which simply doesn’t work in the modern state of college wrestling. Running your athletes into the ground so bad that their all injured and burnt out once ncaas comes around is a horrible way of going about it. The only reason they are a high level team anymore is because they get good recruits, and psu is getting much better recruits by now
No, they need his character. He's exciting, he brings intensity.
insanity?
Yep if you look at brands and cael they both act like that right? Or is one way working better than the other
I’m an Iowa Homer but I love Tom Brands and I’m pretty sure his wrestlers do as well. I can only think of 1 wrestler lost in portal (Henson) and that was understandable. Brands still brings eyes and attention to the program. Most all programs in the country would love to trade places with Iowa. All I can say is careful what you wish for.
Great job.
Sitting in KC behind a large group of Iowa fans (& PSU haters), it was wonderful to see them leave the arena on finals night before Aaron Brooks wrestled.
They didn’t want to watch another Hodge winner not in black & gold. Then ser the 3 team trophy winners (no trophy for black & gold). Don’t change a thing
😂😂😂😂 Must've been a great feeling!
Iowa fans have no respect for the sport or anyone else. They care about Iowa only.
For some bizarre reason I forgot about who should be the clear front runner if they were to make a move and that man is Metcalf. He was a Hawkeye and a dominant one at that, plus he has the experience coaching now and Iowa State has gotten a lot of their recruits because of him.
Yes Metcalf is a big reason without credit.his mentality can't be matched
Spencer Lee would be my pick regardless of experience and age
@@MT-wo5fs He’s just beginning his career on the Senior level plus he has zero experience. There’s no chance he’ll be a head coach anytime soon, but I think one day that he will and that’s going to be great.
@@MT-wo5fsDon't agree. Spencer too Green and his last ncaa performance not a good look
A real shame he screwed the pooch (and his future) in 2009. Will never be a head coach.
Yeah he sucks…his mentality caused that program to be toxic…he’s more worried about producing street fighters instead of world class wrestlers. Get them both out of there.
No , he is one of the best!
5th. At nationals is a joke.
@@user-bp7vi6de2ltop 5 at nationals isn’t a joke. You sound stupid ash.
I think PSU has a phenomenal program and have nothing but respect for them and what Cael has done for that program. I grew up in Illinois and leaned towards being a Hawkeye wrestling fan esp in the 90s and earlier 2000s.
Overall they only won one ncaa team championship and had 3-4 individual ncaa champions over the last decade. But they’ve had quite a lot of talented wrestlers over that time frame as well regardless if they’re not #1 as a team or individual wrestlers. Every powerhouse has its ups and downs.
From a coaching perspective not sure how to put Tom Brands down because he’s done great things for the program. John Smith at Oklahoma State hasn’t brought a team championship home since 2006 and only had 4-5 individual ncaa champions in the last decade so should we say he’s no good? Absolutely not it’s just the internet and media doing what they do best …
It’s all about winning championships. He is a clown.
@@joegreen9629 You should apply for the position and take over the program! I’m sure your grade school background in wrestling will go a long way vs somebody who has won Olympic golds, world golds, ncaa championships, etc. Your experience probably tops his as a UA-cam troll’
Unfortunately, if anyone needs to be replaced, it’s John Smith. Oklahoma has been on a steady decline in the last decade and Smith is aging.
Welp.
@@CarolinaSportz haha, welp indeed. Guess I called it? Lol
Amazing stats and entertaining. Well done!
Look no further than the quality of individuals that are recruited at each program.
Ya, the gambling guys, Ferrari's & Desanto are not exactly character guys.
Braden Davis is Desanto if Desanto had no offense
@@robertcarter6473 how do you win the Big10 with no offense?
Other than the few stats that have been pointed out as incorrect, you have really stepped up your game! Good job Z.
If they can replace him with Cael and his staff, then yes.
Otherwise, no.
Stats don't lie. NCAA Team Titles PSU 11 Iowa 1 ... Individual Champions PSU 37 Iowa 7 ..... Holy Hell
I used to live behind Brands in IC. I remember waking up one morning and while brewing my coffee and eating a donut, watched him do pull-ups on his deck with his finger tips.
Well as true iowa fan and have been since the Gabel dynasty. I love loyalty. So Tom and Terry returning to Iowa and build a program back. Cal took the easy way out instead of building a program he jumped to where recruiting was easy and had a better recruits. So I guess I'd rather see loyalty then getting everything handed to him. Now if Cal was a true great coach he would of built Iowa state up instead of jumping ship and taking the easy way out. You missed the fact that Kevin Jackson took Iowa state after Cal just left.
I think The Brands are doing a good job, they definitely had an off year but they still have a strong team
The solution for Iowa is to add Spencer Lee to the coaching staff, not to get rid of the Brands brothers.
I think this is a crazy. As a die hard PSU fan, born and raised an hour away from happy valley, even I can admit brands is still amazing. He finds success every year. Just because it isn’t on the level that PSU does doesn’t mean that he’s doing a bad job.
And you should absolutely do a breakdown on bono. Love this content😂 just because I disagree doesn’t mean I don’t like it

Spend some time on Iowa wrestling message boards. A large contingent if the posters want TnT gone. In their view, Iowa should be the rightful kings of the sport. Delusional is how I would describe that sentiment because Iowa high school wrestling isn't a national hotbed like a PA or NJ or even OH.
@@1515candoIowa wrestlers have more success in college than Ohio. The hotbeds are Illinois, PA and NJ.
@@jomama969 Wrong. Ohio is just behind PA as far as High School wrestling is concerned...#2 and PA has 4 million more people.
Dude this was actually awesome
Something needs to change. In his interviews, he just says, "we gotta get to the legs, we gotta score more points, and we gotta want it more." If that is all the wisdom that is needed to be a D1 coach at school like Iowa, I'm gonna put my name in the hat. Times change, styles change, and when it does, you either change with it or you don't. Every year, Iowa gets great wrestlers because of legacy. By the end of each year and end of each career, those great kids are broken down and don't compete at their best.
I’d like to see Gillman at the head coach spot when it’s time for the passing of the torch
No Lee would be a better choice.
Penn State fan here. LMAO 😂😂😂😂
Do you have posters of Jerry Sandusky on your wall? I bet you do.
Interesting video. Full of facts. Very professional editing. I agree Brands needs better staff. Will personalities clash at Iowa? If Brands can adapt he will stay.
We will see who carries wisdom on their shoulder, and in their head? Show boating with Cory Clark was a joke.
Forget beating Penn State, Brands' problem is he took over a program that had every built in advantage and he has slowly let it slip. This is why Hawkeye fans are up in arms. Iowa has an incredible history, the biggest fan following, and resources other teams not named Penn State can only dream about. When is the last time you heard about Tom or Terry Brands going on the road to visit recruits and their families? Recruiting is the lifeblood of every program and yet Brands delegates this to his assistants. It's a dereliction of duty, almost as if he is so set in his ways he just doesn't get it. Add to this trying to bring in Pat Downey and the Ferrari brothers and you really have to question his judgement - it's mindboggling. Lastly, he has allowed his once great RTC to become second rate. How is it schools like Michigan, ASU and UPenn all have better RTCs than Iowa? Again, forget about Penn State. Brands now needs to worry about beating OSU (who returns everyone next year), Michigan, etc.. This is the problem.
The stats of all Americans are irrelevant. The lack of development of wrestlers at iowa is the issue. Very few wrestlers actually progress throughout their careers. Iowa has all many americans because they recruit well and have a large sum of money to do so.
Something needs to change. Penn State and other schools are getting the top level recruits. For some reason, Iowa does not peak at tournament time. Wrestlers are dealing with injuries and appear to be struggling most of the season. Too much hand-fighting and not enough aggression like we saw in Spencer Lee.
Awesome presentation...thanks BEG! The gambling suspensions...the Ferraris...as much as I love him, the Austin Desanto antics...ALL a (negative) reflection on leadership (whether you want to admit it or not). IMO, the Brands' public behavior is not reflective of top-level D1 program leadership. They are embarrassing in public. All that behind said, as a huge PSU fan, I hope they stay, but they would never work for me.
I agree and disagree too. Desanto was horrible but as time progressed at IA he was probably the most improved wrestler in the room. As the ferraris go
..hell no. All i needed to see was the double birds and the attitude after his match at the soldier salute. That one in not repairable and needs a jail cell not a mat😊
Next year will be better for Iowa. Next year will also be better for Penn State. Brands is in the middle of a PSU dynasty. There's nothing he can do about it
Iowa's style of wrestling is vanishing with the addition of the 3 point takedown. Good bye and good riddance to boring wrestling.
They should hire Spencer's mom .. real passion there
Dresser took over VT when Brands went to Iowa. Get your facts correct!
Ridiculous premise. 4 national titles, 1 as recent as 2021. 5 Big 10 championships, 277-27-1 dual meet record. Remember he did that in the Big 10 with Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan and Minnesota. Hate Iowa but gotta give the man respect and his due.
YES. 💯 YES, they can do much better with a younger alumni or any big ten Natty champ. They could hire David Taylor, Kyle Dake, Jordan Boroughs,Tony Ramos, Logan Stieber and be better off with recruiting. Even Spencer Lee, or Thomas Gilman more recently would do a better job, that's how low the bar is.
I'm a lifetime PSU fan -- and think Brands is a terrific coach and is Iowa thru and thru. If Brands retired today he'd have accomplishments that would put him in the upper echelon of all NCAA coaches in every sport. He just happens to be coaching during the Sanderson Buzzsaw.
I'd rather wrestle for Damien Hahn at SDSU than Brands
They recruit heavily out of Iowa......great state.....but they may need to reach further. He's a great coach
Love The Brands! KEEP THE BRANDS!
Good luck finding anyone to do a better job than BOTH TOM & TERRY BRANDS TOGETHER!!
The article about Taylor being the new head coach is from 2014
I'm not ready to talk about Tom Brands just yet, but I think Terry, Ryan and Bobby are kind of questionable at this point.... All Terry seems to do is yell at the Refs, our guys seem to think the refs decide the outcome instead of our guys going out and scoring points and keep the match out of the refs hands....
Send Brands to Wisconsin please, we could use the help!
I am a Cyclone fan. With that said the Iowa Gambling charges are a JOKE! If you were to put GEO Fencing around any College/University in the country you would have the exact same results. That's not on Brands or any other coach.... Right or Wrong, Gambling is an accepted form of entertainment in 2024. Firing Brands would be a colossal mistake for the sport of wrestling and the Iowa Program. #GoClones
IF Taylor were to ever decide to coach at Iowa it will be after he's finished wrestling for Team USA. He is one of the anchors at the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club and a huge reason that so many US National members team are training at Happy Valley. IMO if Taylor ever decides to go into coaching he'll join Cael's staff and I can see him taking over at PSU when Cael decides to retire.
Dresser has only been at Iowa State since 2017.
Yeah wtf not a fair comparison lmao
@@cooliopacholiohe also beat Iowa one year while at Va Tech.
To work on stats as detailed as this it is surprising this part was incorrect
Only off by ten years 😂
It’s time for Brand’s to go..
Damien Hahn, Nolf, David Taylor, Zain Retheford, Bo Nickal.. Yianni.. Iowa needs a big name

@@jamest3552 He shouldn’t resign or be fired. No one has proven they can beat Sanderson. Tom Ryan and Brands are the only other coaches that have won nationals since Cael took over. Cut out the gambling suspension and Iowa would’ve finished second at nationals.
One word…
Hell YES!
Love him or hate him - he gets results
Iowa been irrelevant for years.
They all get results, some just get better ones. They may be fantastic people. But watching Tom coach, my only thought is glad my kid isn't there. Surface only view, I know
Rather than looking at the entire body of work and old new news, look at the last two or three years, the trend is down for Iowa and they’re always in trouble with the NCAA and the coaches comments should be punishable. He thinks they’re being targeted. LoL like a juvenile would proclaim.
If they get rid of Tom Brands who will they replace him with? As of right now Cael Sanderson is dominating college wrestling as a coach just like he did as a player.
What exactly is the bar for using EVERYONE in a description?
I know you said you weren’t including the Covid year, but you definitely should have mentioned that Iowa was by far the favorite to win ncaas that year
As much as I hate Iowa because I'm a penn state fan I don't understand why iowa would ever entertain the idea of getting rid of the brands brothers
I say no. They just won a National Championship a couple of years ago and absolutely would have won it in 2020 if it wasn’t for Covid. They still have the room and none of their wrestlers have bad mouthed them and turned their backs on them.
The only way I could see something happening is if they got JB or Taylor, but that’s not even a possibility until next year with the Olympic’s coming up. Zain and Nolf are not done with their Senior careers and they don’t have enough experience anyway.
Cough cough... Tony Ramos, Thomas Gilman, Brent Metcalf... cough cough
@@combatspeed6392 Gilman and Ramos are huge no’s for me. Gilman is still wrestling and is just out there. Ramos is a big no for me.
I did say after my initial post that Metcalf could really be the only candidate this year.
If it’s next year I say Metcalf #1, JB #2 and Taylor would be #3.
@williamoleary9330 that was in response to you saying none of their wrestlers have bad things to say. Not about them taking over as coach.
@@combatspeed6392 Yeah, but that was after they already graduated. Gilman left because of Lee and Tony was a bit of a cry baby about the whole coaching thing when he wrestled Dan.
Metcalf left on good terms. That was even said in Flo’s movie on Metcalf.
@williamoleary9330 you said none of their guys had anything bad to say, which was false. You can spin the reasons however you what, but this statement is false. Brands also has burned a bridge with Schwab and obviously Dresser, both former Hawkeyes. Do you think it only counts when wrestlers bad mouth the program while theyre still attending? I think it matters more after they leave.
So who would replace him. That is a better question.
In 1970 I saw Gable wrestle for Iowa State, have been a fan since. Iowa kids got in gambling trouble, Compare this to some college teams, criminal stuff from football teams with real problems, Iowa needs a good recruiting year. Joe Woodell
Right now PSO is just tougher then hell.
The answer is obviously yes. I am sure Cael would make one of his guys available, whether or not they are currently on his staff
No way. Brands has been very solid can’t believe so many people are thinking this.. they literally won a team national title 3 years ago. They’ve had some struggles recently but brands isn’t necessarily the reason for that, and what school hasn’t had struggles aside from Penn State if you’re looking at it that way. Y’all dumb if you think getting rid of brands is a smart move
I dont know
Even though pennsylvania is a hotbed for high school wrestling and recruits, people can't say the only reason PSU is winning is because of the PA recruits. If you take a look at the roster this year, the majority or their wrestlers is from other states.
Davis= Michigan's
Nagao= California
Bartlett = from Arizona/transferred to pa for high school
Kasak= PA but would have been van ness who is from New Jersey
Haines= PA
Messenbrink = Wisconsin
Starrocci = PA
Truax= California
Brooks= Maryland
Kerkvliet= Minnesota
Does it help? Yes. But there are a lot of key components that go into making a great coach.
Dude, take a look at Iowa's starting lineup over the past couple of years...half of their starters were from PA alone!!! I started calling them Iowylvania or Pennsyliowa (take your pick).
I realize that as I'm from PA and a psu fan. I remember watching Spencer when he was in 7th grade telling everyone that I hope he comes to psu. I grew up only about 45 minutes from Max Murin. My point was that a lot of people say cael can't coach and he only wins because he's coaching in PA, and that's why I highlighted that the majority of the psu team was from other states. Tom is a terrific coach, but his style just isn't as attractive to today's athletes imo. Obviously a lot of kids are going to ride the bench or transfer out of psu because of the elite talent that commits to us every year, but kids are willing to take their chances because of the culture and atmosphere. I think T&T just need to change some things. Iowa has a good team every year, but Iowa fans don't want just a good team to compete for top 5 finishes.
@@JustinMiller-rf2gi Ya man, I agree. I'm concerned about how Cael is going to juggle all the talent to avoid transfers. And, I agree with you in that I cannot believe Iowa is accepting of just top 5 finishes. I wouldn't be. The best way to ensure you keep getting the same results is to make no change.
Exactly. I'm not an Iowa fan at all, but I do enjoy good wrestling. Truth is, PSU will probably lose some kids to the transfer portal. Obviously, all the kids believe they can win, but unfortunately, not all are going to. If Iowa wants to get back to their winning tradition and draw in some better recruits to be competing for the #1 spot again, they are going to have to make some big changes. However, Being a psu fan, I'm fine with the decision if they choose not too. Lol
He Brands let a few bad apples infect the team he will be replaced
No they shouldn't. Good talk
Messing up the Dresser ISU data makes me wonder about ALL the other data
I encourage double checking all stats, I will post any errors to clarify. Kevin Dresser started in 2017 NOT 2007, Penn State technically had 38 individual Champs not 37, and Cornell didn't have any AA's in 2021 because Ivy League cancelled the season.
Fire him
Hire Brent Metcalf
Chittum wasn’t gonna have a starting spot is why he left.
It's the off the mat stuff is the killer now it is all about perception . No matter who comes it is Gabel's house can't scully the name
Someone tell Beth to leave Tom Brands alone and fire Fran. If she wants a big splash, do it in men's basketball.
Here's the thing, most top coaches would be basically guaranteed 5 All Americans a year just being at Iowa. Honestly to me it feels like Dresser is waiting in the wings... Hiring 2 Iowa ulums is pretty interesting.
The biggest issue is the new talent coming through iowa hawkeye's, the roster just isn't there and it's why it doesn't look like a good program moving forward.
Good job-
Replace Brands, No-
It is Hard with the KINGS of Wrestling, PSU, for the Rest of the ncaa
Tom is doing a great job , but it’s a cut beneath Cael. When Carl took over he was relevant still. The way PS recruits and mentors their wrestlers is different . Mostly all of PS wrestlers have strong faith, also Cael takes off as much pressure as possible from his wrestlers and tries to keep things fresh and fun. He also allows his wrestlers to be unique with their style. Not to mention that he has a incredible coaching staff. Plus the PS wrestling room is insanely talented. You have National Champions working out with national champions.
Yes...as much as I love Tom and Terry, Iowa wrestlers most always under perform at nationals!! It's like they're mentally and physically exhausted!
They need an olympic gold medalist at the helm. why? Can't give what ya dont have. Every Fargo champ believes he can be a gold medalist, these young studs will go to where they will be coached into greatness. Top tier medalists turned coaches right now would be Burroughs, Snyder, Taylor.
I'm pretty sure you're wrong about when Dresser took over Iowa State
I am Penn State fan I think he is Iowa wrestling! They will be fine.
Do a profile on wisconsin since Chris Bono took over his coach and be sure to talk about Gómez, WICK and Hamidi and soon to be Braxton Amos leaving the program abruptly they’re going to be so bad again next year for the third year in a row it’s going to be unbelievable
And should all other coaches who’ve not won the Championship be replaced as well? I think not, Cael is a phenomenon.
Tom needs to start somewhere else like oklahoma state
Yes
In Brands we trust!!!
I love Tom Brands but I dont think he can beat penn state iowa should try to go big and get kyle Dake its time to distance themselves from the Gable Era and start a new one a more forward thinking way young wrestlers want to learn new skills not just be bruisers in better shape and always injured
Yes. It is long overdue. All that tough talk doesn't translate to success. Iowa is as bad as I can ever remember. What the hell happened to that program.
"were moving forward"
Iowa gets significantly better recruits than everyone on this list besides pstate
No but ok state should replace me
No on Brands.he stays. Iowa had a misfortunate circumstance with kids missing a season. I think he has a shot at number 2 next year, but he's gonna have to get on it
Yes.
Cael is greater .. but yes replace him
No extend brands bros Morningstar and Telford!
Is Everyone really asking this question?
