For me, my winkler belt knife or blue ridge hunter are perfect edc blades, love the 80crv2 by Winkler, seems like it just doesn't wanna rust and its really tough but super easy to sharpen. Great video my dude🤙🏼

Those are two knives I’ve always loved the design of. 80crv2 is great if you’re just going for toughness, I usually prefer something with a bit more edge retention if I can help it. Winkler makes sweet knives, they’re just very purpose built.

I only carry my pikal for a back up when I'm not changing it out with umpteen other knives. They are also some of the worst I have for utility as they aren't particularly well ground for doing chores. Been carrying a Matt Helm DE dogbone and T.Kell Agent 001 a lot lately. Nice neutral handles and enough of a back edge to reverse cut if needed. Anything else and I just use a folding knife.

Also, a buck 119 goes through a car door pretty nicely, JoeX knows and has the video proof lmao

Back watching this video. Went to bladeshow and grabbed a auxiliary manufacturing tsume! Think I might try n grab one of them offensive industries sheaths for it but in the mean time what's the best ulticlip or something to grab for it? Never bought an ulticlip before.

If you’re going to purchase hardware to use on the stock sheath I’d recommend going with a Discreet Carry Concepts clip. They’re the same idea as ulticlip where they grab the material of your pocket but much more simple and sleek. I’d recommend one of the small pocket clip/behind the belt sizes (Mod 2 and variants)

I’ve heard mixed reviews. That being said it’s a US made fixed blade so I’d be willing to check it out.

@@justified_edc wait till you try the clip😂 that was the first thing i took off. the sheath is okay for static line carry, but the clip is garbage.
