I bought the Huskk wallet when you showed it on your $250 budget carry video. I've been carrying it since then and can say it's a good one. I keep 4 cards and about 10 bills folded up in my pocket. It's still nice and slim and the pull tab makes it easy to get my cards out.
Love love love my Contour. Have had it for going on 2 years and it still has that amazing leather smell. It's the talk at every party when I pull it out to pop open a beer. Best money I've spent!
premiere body armor has a regular wallet that they put level 2 kevlar in, it is bulletproof, when it's folded closed it's level 4, not minimalist, but pretty thin and pretty cool.
@@christianrodriguez607 Hell, or look at the story of Teddy Roosevelt surviving an assignation attempt because the folded up speech in his breast pocket stopped the bullet. Nothing for people to turn their nose up at. Sometimes the littlest things make the biggest difference in our lives.
I have one of the newest Gun Deck QuickDraws, it’s a really elegant wallet and holds just enough cards for my needs. Love the leather and craftsmanship. Totally recommend!
I've been carrying an aviator wallet for 2 years. The thing is amazing! Very slim. I carry about 7 cards plus cash in the elastic band, and it has a "coin slider" that I use to carry my house key in. I absolutely love it!
Based on an older video I bought the Arc Bolder. I am supper happy with my purchase. The wallet is better than expected. I show it off every chance I get. Thanks for exposing small makers.
“I don’t know why you’d have a wallet that’s Not for EDC...” glad you answered your own perplexity. [2:05>] I keep a separate “Vacation” wallet, and a “gift cards” wallet. So maybe everyone does?
@@garrettmeyer9674 I like it so far the footprint is nice in the pocket. The strap does start to work loose though I've noticed and cards want to fall out after taking one out, which is kind of a bummer and then I have to worry about orientation when placing into my pocket. I do like the smooth edges and the strap does offer some pocket protection for my phone. How about you?
Based on this review I ordered a few wallets, the Misc Goods being one of them. I love the Misc Goods wallet. When you see it online it doesn’t look like much, but it is perfect for me. It holds plenty, although less than I used to carry. It is soft and pliable, which makes it very comfortable in the pocket. I love the Misc Goods wallet and recommend it.
I’m happy to see this comment. I just ordered a Johnny wallet from them and am very excited to receive. I’ve never had a wallet and am 16 years old!! I’ve always used juicy fruit gum boxes, and the Johnny wallet is litterly just a leather version soooo. I’m excited
I can 100% vouche for this wallet i bought it when i was about 15-16 and am now almost 21 and has always bee my favorite it used to be very beautiful about the 2 year mark but ALOT of accidentally washes and ALOT of sea water has made it quite ugly now i am wanting to buy a new one with the more premium leathers but im also just wanting to go for a change and find a different wallet for a while
I have the Misc Goods wallet and it is insanely great quality. I use it for 5 cards, MC registration/insurance and it has plenty of room. it's a wonderful wallet that holds things secure as well as being quite compact. 10/10
I’ve also tried many, Trayvax contour is my favorite of all time! Going on 3 years and it still looks new, holds 13 cards and cash. Well built and a great look black and brass and brown leather. It will last for ever..
I've used a lot of minimalist wallets over the years, and I think the Exentri tri-fold is an amazing, compact, do-it-all with full cash slot wallet available. If you use multiple cards and carry cash, and want a small footprint ( front pocket friendly ) this is something to check out. It really is nice. I picked up a couple different wallets since, but can't find anything that compares to it's size and functionality ( you don't have to play origami with bills like other wallets)
I have never seen the appeal of a metal wallet. They just seem so sharp and obtrusive. I already carry and knife and phone with hard corners. A nice supple leather wallet is bae. I wish you had included a bellroy card pocket. I carried one for 3 years and love it. I’ll probably go back to it soon. I got a Das Offene & Meer stitchless, and it’s definitely super nice, I just love the card pocket so much
Perfect timing cos I'm learning leather crafting, and I was looking for ideas to make my own, I can never find the 'perfect wallet' so I'm just gonna make one.
Omg it's Taylor, I remember when you use to do phone reviews. You was one of the best reviewer! I so miss you're phone reviews... I also had the biggest crush on you. 😍😍😍
I've gone from the normal trifold/bifold leather wallets in the back pocket, to the Mstrmnd Apex 2.0 (great card holder if you don't carry much/zero cash!), to the Trayvax Axis (solid build but adjusting the strap to accommodate for more cards/cash is a huge pain - also the new version looks even more annoying), back to the Apex 2.0, and now I've finally (for now lol) settled on the Stow wallet. I got the 8-card version, but I can easily fit 10 cards and several bills. Even though I don't carry cash often, I needed something that could hold a few bills and this thing is perfect for that. The front card is quite exposed, so if you're worried about that, it might not be for you. Fortunately that doesn't bother me and it's currently the perfect wallet for me!
My fav wallet as of lately is the Charlie from Herschel Supply Co. Very slim, durable, leather and fabric options, and most of them are $22 but I've seen as low as $16 on sale!
I make wallets like this, minimalist wallets are great. I made a wallet like cave but with 2 pockets and leather strap, looks much better, because of you can't see the stitching on front pocket and much more useful, 2 pockets are better than 1. But one of my favourite models is 3 pocket vertical wallet, only stitched in bottom, you can find STR handmade wallet, this is almost thew same. Easy to operate and very spacy for this size, easily fits 8 cards and couple slips of cash. Mini bifolds are nice too, 3 card pockets and flap for cash inside, 1 card pocket outside
I’ve been carrying the Flipside 4 tactical wallet for the last 3 years and I LOVE IT! It has the ability to protect my credit cards(RFID)and the plastic shell is indestructible! I will never carry a different wallet ever again, eventhough I know there are many great options out there!
Carried a ridge wallet for a couple years, really liked it, but was rough on CC mag strips, got a Hanks front pocket wallet, still breaking it in but it'll probably be a keeper, wish I got one with a ID holder but the quality is amazing, beautiful leather. Also have a Hanks belt, great for everyday carry, just my 2 cents
Ezra Arthur makes some amazing stuff. The slim wallet shipped from Bespoke post is a thinner veg tan leather that I think was just for that specific club shipment. If you buy from Ezra Arthur directly you get better quality, and their gear is freaking awesome.
I been using the Husk wallet for last 2 years and it’s still works good, looks a bit worn and shiny! But hey it’s leather. Now I’m thinking switch to a forge carbon ridge style card holder just for try smth new.
I have carried a Trayvax Contour and a bunch of other Trayvax wallets for a couple years. Also been using Bellroy products. Now I wanted to change my edc again so I picked up a Trove cash wrap wallet. I haven’t got it yet but it seems to be an interesting design.
My wife brought me the dango dapper wallet for our anniversary a few years back, I know you have said you didn't like it but I don't understand why. I recently got a Trayvax Summit and also ordered an XSTO to try out. Thus far the Summit seems pretty great s you've reviewed, slim, easy, durable. I ordered some elastic to swap out the canvas strap to try something I saw on another video that seems more versatile with the Summit.
Surprisingly, the best minimalist wallet I've found has been an As Seen on TV product, the *Slim Clip* . I've been using it for the last 10+ years & it still looks the same. Not bad for $10. I just started the video, but maybe you found something better? The Slim Clip is practical, slim and durable, but I wouldn't mind it having a little more utility.
Have an i-clip, plastic frame and clip with a leather cover. Made in Germany (where I happen to live), affordable and weights close to nothing. Plus you get a wide selection of leather designs. Still thinking about trayvax though... Maybe some day?

Saddleback Leather Company has a great slim card holder, 10 stars
I've been using the Armored Summit from Trayvax for the last three years. One of the cool things about the face plate; it's also a bottle opener.
