I just wanted to say, I love that you ,your sister and friends pick up garbage when on the adventures, you go ahead and use what you want to in y’all’s projects ,because it would lay out on the ground forever if it wasn’t picked up. Love the videos, stay safe and God bless you love Bones
The truth is Sarah that the longer you stay away from the city the more aware of how much of a...unpleasant...place it is. I left SoCal in the summer of 1976, right after graduation. I didn't have to go back for a year, and I could not believe how much it had changed...fact is it wasn't just the city changing, it was me....and you will experience the same process. The best it will ever be is the way it was when you left...
Wonderhussy is quite a character. She cracks me up sometimes! I thought she might want to announce she was "Dropping a Deuce" beside The Old Spanish Trail. Thanks for the video!
Blows my mind how you grew up in the Bay Area, with your mom living in the forests of NorCal and you and sis wind up in a desert compound! Secure the perimeter!!
Funny! When I left the area of the War Eagle mine at 01:00 Thanksgiving morning I stopped to turn on my Jackery right at your 'pit' stop! Forgot when I left the mine to power up my CB. Guess I better watch here I step, eh! LOL 🤠
Working in a grocery store myself, facing and moving the product forward does a lot to make a customer believe everything is fine and dandy. Reality is Sprouts, Kroger owned stores and competition are all having supply issues.
Love the view of the desert. If I lived out there, I'd put up my ham radio antennas and on clear nights, I'd get the telescope out for some deep sky observing.
Thank you for a nice afternoon doing a run into Vegas! It was fun going along for the journey! Hope you enjoy your life and have a great time! Best wishes, and regards, to you and the family! 🤙🧧
Thanks for sharing your supply run with us. Probably good to make this trip once in a while. Helps to keep everything in perspective. Sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Hope the desert grit chocolates don't damage the teeth.
It sure is a lot of fun running around with you for all your journeys shopping and all the normal things that you do you’re really funny and you make me laugh and you look awesome in your Christmas outfit )))The old retired guy would just like to say thank you for another great adventure with you looking forward to the next one👍👨🏻🦳👍
Merry Christmas to you, too! Good to see Jim in his new truck. I guessed the white chocolate only because it is different. Sorry about the spill. I bet next time you will confirm with the dentist that the crown is in. They should have called you to reschedule . I trust Nuni is well? Too hot for me to live out there, but hats off to you. Keep us posted on the calendar availability.
I was having a VERY depressed and shitty day......then....I discovered your posting. Once again, Sarah Jane, you revived my spirits. I absolutely adore you!!!!
Love me some eggnog with rum, emmmm! little grit clean those pearly whites right up! Yep, merica getting crowded or over crowded everywhere, guess you could say we almost are living in Biff world now:) thanks for sharing, tree looks awesome! Boy those scorpions sure are getting a great view:) thanks for sharing!
Sounds more like the truck's a 3/4 ton, Love(8-). Yeah...F250...that's a 3/4 ton. they also come with the Power Stroke diesel, but that V10 gas engine pulls pretty hard too. It's just a little rougher on fuel mileage. Two things that made me sad about this video...when you didn't get that temp cap replaced...and when you spilled your chocolates. The rest was okay, even if you did have to spend a lot of time in Vegas. We can now see how living out in the safe brush has sort of freed you(8-). It's hard to go back to a big town once you have escaped its evil grasp. Thanks a heap for the update, Love...and much love to you and yours.
Very excited to see what you have planned next oops I knew it cause caught up with the videos 😂 thanks again for your time and effort in making it a pleasure to watch
I did guess right, white chocolate. My wife loves white chocolate. Sorry the others were tarnished, but heck a good washing should have fixed things. Speaking of pop a squats, that what my daughter does on her way from McKinleyville back to our house in Oakland. Them big trees are good for something. If I don't respond soon, have a wonderful Christmas, get mom out there. I also had a BKA in Sept, goal is to make it to the top of Whitney, and Badwater in 3 years, and in 24 hours. My brother who completed the PCT this year, offered to help me make it to the top. My surgeon is working on getting me my prosthetic leg, I'm pushing myself hard on my recovery, as I have a long ways to go and a short time to get there. You have always been an inspiration to me, as my daughter learned how to dig a cat hole in Death Valley out on Green Water Valley. You always challenge yourself, and as I tell mi daughter "I didn't raise no girly girl" as she works on her jeep, sometimes my 4Runner. Thanks again, you are awesome.
I know your long journey with having an implant. I (Mary) had an implant about 18 months ago and before it was all said and done it took over a year to complete the whole process. I love my implant. It is worth the wait. Great Video and PS. I (Mary) love the ability to cop a squat whenever I need to as well. Mary 💕 Fred
Hi SJ. Some really beautiful country there. Must be nice for the quiet side of life. If I drive 8 0r 9 hours I'm in our state capital. What a mad house. That's why I live where I live. Drive Safe and enjoy the next dentist visit. Cheers
Now you are beginning to understand why 80% of all people in the world prefer to live in small towns or villages and rural areas. No rat infested cities and rat-like neighbors for us!
Uhm, you do jnow that in most of the world, staying in rural areas means a liftime of poverty.. The young head to the cities to get better paying jobs. Even in the US, there trend continues to shift the population to large urban areas i think its like 60% of the US now lives in urban areas.
@@machinist7230 Some of what you say is true based on my personal travels and work experiences in 15 different countries in Central and North America in addition to three in Europe. I have found that people in all those places tend to be more satisfied with their lives, families and communities regardless of their socio-economic status in rural areas than large urban cities. Yes, many young people do get a good education in their small communities that want occupations not needed in their home communities. But I have observed that many of them will return to their small communities for family, community, lower cost of living, shorter commute times to work, lower cost of living. less exposure to crime amd gpvernments that serve instead of control. And that includes myself. I still continue to work at my chosen occupation (which I love to do) and continue to travel for pleasure mostly. Travel by air sucks these days and I do not like working in Manhatten, San Francisco, Chicago and Seattle anymore. I refuse to actually.
Good luck with your dental work, I've been down that road and it's worth it when it's all finished. I hope that eating gritty chocolate hasn't set you back.

Dental hygiene! I always flossed but a couple years back my new dentist suggested using a water pick (a good one) because string floss, whilst important, can not reach every stuck bit of food. Made a huge difference in feeling clean. It also mitigates receding gums due to less irritants.
I have enjoyed your videos about Las Vegas for sometime. Like the ones during coronavirus lockdown. I was stationed at fort Irwin for a year. I will never go there again. I couldn't be paid enough money. Best of luck out there, you'll need it. Wished I saw your bondage photos.

What. No run to Chipotle during your Vegas visit? Maybe next week when you have all the teeth. Thanks for taking us along. Those were very old 7-UP bottles. Happy Trails until next week.
THAT tree is definitely a Las Vegas Christmas tree!!! Hohoho!!! 🎅 Sorry you weren’t able to get your tooth fixed, WH. You know, put it behind you once and for all. You are such a trooper about it!

I totally get living in the country, once you’re out in the boondocks it’s hard going back , and the beautiful night sky in the boonies is hard to beat!!
When are you going back to Cerro Gordo? Your video of the American Hotel was great. Maybe the last video of the hotel before it burned down. Too bad they didn't redo the 19th century electrical throughout. So much beautiful history lost in that tragic fire.

It was so funny to watch this video. We just got back to Pahrump from a trip to Vegas today. You drove over so many of the same roads even in Vegas. Doctor appt and blood tests done, but couldn't get the x-ray. Now I gotta go back again. It really is a culture shock. Yes, it was wicked windy before T-day. It's so nice to have you as a sort of neighbor. It's definitely quieter where you are, but we love it....for now.
Just another excuse to go to Chipotle! We know your true motivation! By the way, based on your fuel comment and the types of food you purchased, it might be worth your while to get a Costco membership. Just a suggestion.
Calendar shoot should be fun. The sky/clouds in the backdrop last year were awesome. I thought you and Larry crushed it with the finished photos/video. I keep trying to put those angles and style into my own travel photos (not much luck) but I will stick to it. Glad things are coining together at the "New" home. Gary W
As a SOI archaeologist, yes they are (or might be) historic and yes they are trash. Thank you for recycling. Preservation laws are antiquated and lack reality. 1970s bottles are trash in my opinion.

And I'm having my camp out boondocking bash thing again at dome Rock starts today goes through the 12th if you looking for something to do you know you're welcome here. Seems like it's going to be a lot smaller quieter group this year but it's the first day that could change but as of now it's not nearly as big as the last two years
You are safe, re: the green bottles. 50 years ago soda bottles were re-useable, and people brought them back to the store and got their "deposit" money back.
Wow what a trip back to the big city! Too bad no egg nog coffee! That sucks! I tryed to get a mocha with peppermint the other day and they had run out. So I had to do something else. Glad you had a good Thanksgiving! Take care! 😎
In the '60s. We lived in San Diego. Our relatives lived in old LV. They used to hose the patio down at night. In the morning, we would ice skate. Odd for us, as SD never got that cold.
Wow. Not only do you climb the highest mountains, explore abandoned structures, and challenge nature every week....You even use self checkout at the grocery store well!
Have you heard of litter-Johns? You can take a whiz while driving. Chashews are my fave nuts too. Have you ever tried cashew butter? Like peanut butter but with that chashew flavor. Glad you're over the big city life and attuned to the peace and quiet of the desert. I hope it keeps you happy for the rest of your life.
Nice vid gf! I ran the other way...off the plains and into the city where I don't have to buy $4 a gallon petrol. I AM surprised you didn't make a Chipotles run though. We normally hit a fast 'food' joint when in town. Dental care....ugggh. Oh and ALWAYS wear hearing protection when running power tools. Think of them as hiking boots for your hears...hearing loss occurs quickly. Love your vids.
You should take us on more of your everyday trips around your area....Is Hoover Dam open for tours yet? I know you had the story there about the dog....It wasn't when we were there in April....That might be interesting...We look forward to your "Hussy" videos every week! I worked in video production for 40 years and I see how much better you've gotten through time.
Jim's new truck, awesome. It was an honor to be a part of helping a fellow Vet. Thanks for letting us know of his need, Sarah! ❤❤👍
Get some radio equipment, put up an antenna, and you can take Art Bell's place as a late night Queen of the Desert. :)

Another wonderful adventure you are so lucky to have your compound.
So happy for Jim…nice ride!
I was wondering about the Calendar! Great to hear WH is "doin it" again. The girl IS Photogenic!!!
Like having a good friend who does cool stuff! Thanks for the adventures!👀💅💃🏜️🦄🕷️🥞🍻

I like how you half camouflaged the bottles in the middle of trash in an attempt to smuggle those antiques out of there 😂😂😅🤙
I love your crazy music and silly sound effects. The woodblock/xylophone when you're walking is hilarious, reminds me of cartoons when I was a kid.
Thanks!
No Speeding!! 😧
You even make going shopping a fun adventure.
Love your new compound videos! Always entertaining. 😊
Nice, glad your friend got a pickup, glad I could help him getting it 😀

I moved from Carson City to Fallon. What a difference. I agree with you, I could never move back to the ciaos the city brings. I'll be hare forever.

We normally hit a fast 'food' joint when in town. Dental care....ugggh. Oh and ALWAYS wear hearing protection when running power tools. Think of them as hiking boots for your hears...hearing loss occurs quickly. Love your vids.
That’s so awesome about his truck. Your so awesome.
OMG, life can be a hassle, you seem to keep a good attitude. Love the music. :)
