This is so funny. I was fishing literally where you are standing last summer, far more anglers there. In 4 hours I saw a single catch - someone got a nice big walleye. That's it. I kept switching up techniques and baits and nothing! My mind is blown at the amount of fish you caught there. I might just go back, because until watching this video I'd written that spot off. Side note: I believe they are speaking Ukrainian
Nice job Vernon, what a great fishing trip. That carp was huge!!
thanks Sonny. Some European and South African anglers might call that a baby carp, but I was glad to get them.
Some Manitoba Master Anglers today! Congratulations Vernon!
Thanks Clint. I only noticed that when editing the video, wish I took better photos on a bump board.
Boy Vernon I think you cleaned the house today. Good job. Glad to see you catching some big wings too.😊
yes, Thanks Ralph. I have heard of this spot, but did not expect it to be so crazy.
Great action! Always exciting to see a big fish slowly being brought in on light gear. Thanks for the video.
True, thanks Richard. It's fun to fight them on the light stuff, but soon we need to work on the gear.
All I can say is WOW!
Indeed, thanks Joe.
What a lot of fun!! I eventually stopped counting the fish.. 😅 Getting 2 PBs in one day is rather cool, thanks for a great video! 🏞💙🎣
Thanks for watching! I also stopped counting, even caught more when the camera was full.
It’s good to see you again Vernon. Looks like you have some pretty good sized fish there. Congrats.
Thanks FishinMoney. The crazy thing is, I was catching the small ones.
HEY VERN, THATS WHAT I THOUGHT CANADIAN FISHING WOULD BE . GREAT VID VERN. HOT DOWN HERE IN VEGAS.
Thanks Randy. We are also getting into summer now, but the difference is, it's nice out here, except for the ticks and mosquitos.
Great job catching fish Vernon. I lost count of how many you landed...
you and me both, thanks.
That looks so fun great job
Thanks, definitely a time of year thing.

I do think it is also a time of year thing. But there should be some good walleye year round, the carp and drum might move out after spring.
Drums tend to go pink once caught. perhaps it was a caught and released fish/pet
Sounds like a stress response, maybe that fish had a bad week.
I've seen them go red like this after I keep them on a stringer.
Da da dum!!! Vernon catching Drum!!!! Great job brother. This was crazy back to back. What was the fight like in comparison to the carp
Thanks Bluehandfishing. Drum have fast quick bursts, but they ain't no carp.
When did you record this video?
This one was on the 29th of May.
Whereabouts in the marsh is this?!
At Delta Beach, right next to the Pelican store. There is a google maps link in the description.
Ukrainian dude feeding his whole family for months.
Hey, carp curry ain't that bad.
