    Man Vernon I’m really glad to see you’re learning the layout of the land. And the areas where you’re fishing. A lot of different species and some good ones now too. Hang in there buddy.😊

    Thanks for the video Vernon. Very informative too. Now I understand better the purpose of the circle hook! Looking forward to next Friday's catch.

    Which area has been your favorite spot so far in Winnipeg, or around the area? PS your new fish is a mountain sucker

      @Stripesraid head west a little towards portage la Prarie, or head into the whiteshell...but make sure to read up on the wildlife in the whiteshell

      That my friend is a hard one to answer. I am still in the honeymoon phase with Winnipeg so I love it all at the moment.

    I got my first white sucker and buffalo last year. I actually got the sucker on a boilie

    • @FinallyFishing
      @FinallyFishing  3 місяці тому

      Nice, what flavor boillies do you use out there?

    • @klownyou1
      @klownyou1 3 місяці тому +1

      @@FinallyFishing it was an experimental spam flavored boilie. For carp I usually use something different every year. Golden graham cereal with chocolate pudding was a good success this year. I really like using shrimp on a float if it’s working that day.

    The assiniboine can be pretty productive compared to the red south of the locks.
    Was hoping the new species was gonna be a sturgeon

    That last channel cat was really "talking".

      People say that only the males grunt like that, but I don't think I am only catching males.

      @@FinallyFishing That's an old myth. They're not grunting with vocal cords or anything - that's the bones around their fins that makes that noise when moved in a particular way.
