Wow it only took me to the end of the season to know that 830+ items have the same max rolls as 925. I’m pretty sure I threw away some god tier 850-900 items because I found a 925 and thought it would have higher stats when upgraded.
It is well known since season 1 but the information is not finding to every player. For some reason, we have to figure things out and imo these are the wrong things to figure out.
The only thing that matters when it come to items below 925 but above 830 is the DPS on the weapon. If your just using them as stat sticks then you don’t need 925 but if it’s the weapon your using for a skill then it needs to 925 for maximum dmg.
Bro I’m a retired gamer coming to D4 for the first time. Beat it today, had a blast casually getting here.. …BUT holy cow is it information overload. Very confusing
Makes me glad they are working on items for possible season 4. Like resistance was made better, im willing to wait to get this done right, its unnecessarily complicated with no logic.
@@motherpigeon1582 Cant tell if this is a joke but if not, nope. I still enjoy the game but the item affixes are all over the place, let alone these power levels they stick on each of them.

Hi, I'm new to the game, but I'm loving it so much. I've been sent to your channel from reddit to look up build guides, do you have a build guide that I could follow for eternal realm? In the sense that the build also works without the special seasonal buffs? Again, completely new to the game, just looking for something to follow until I get a good grasp on the game. Thank you!
I just wish they would make it so Sacred doesn't drop at T4, or at least when you're T4 and lvl 100. I have a 100 sorc and have had multiple uniques that drop from helltide as sacred that just have to go in the trash.
All in all, there is maybe 600 total armour and 1k life between 800-925 on all items combined. It shouldn't matter unless you are pushing high AoZ. Rolls are so important, I have 799 chest and helm with amasing rolls on armor , life and restistance. Very hard to replace. On weapons it's more important because there are both + and x values in high percentages increasing base dmg so the small base increase from ilvl matters more.
What he failed to Mention was that Jewelry lower than 875 Roll lower res. So i wouldn't bother getting Ring or necklaces lower than 875 if you wanna minmax stats. and dont bother saying 850 will become 875, It won't work that way.
wait.. if main weapon counts as prime for damage, then secondary weapon is a bust compared to shield (lidless)? or it works a bit differently? i failed to understand. oh and i mean in terms of necro ofc
What about installing a lower power aspect on higher power gear? Aspects wouldn't be color coded white gold and blue unless it actually mattered I think. What happens when I install a 700 aspect on a 900 item? It's hard to tell.
Wow.. dude. I've been looking gorgeous this videonfor so long. With a lean to item power no matter what for weapons!
Thanks for all the guides. I'm trying to follow along on what gear stats to aim for, but I notice you dont have elemental resistances on your gear. How do you hit the cap?
For my Necro i got the Tears of Blood Glyph - Good Paragon Nodes (shadow and poison resistance) and then respective Fire/Lighting/Cold Gems in the Jewelery
Well shit I thought I was gonna learn something new but I kinda already kinda did this by default...I personally just have my bro run me duriel enough to at least have a majority of 925s especially weapon as that's clearly the most beneficial, but after that I start looking more into the affixes and what I want out of it but I always compare and contrast my damage and survivability output accordingly
This doesn't count for barbarian who aren't using the wepon tho. So a barb solely using there 2h sword ONLY then they don't need 925 on their other weps, affex is key as the dps doesn't come into play as they aren't using those weapons to hit mobs,, there stat sticks but still get the affex benifts but could be a 895 or 925 it wouldn't matter if the stats were the same, again providing they ain't using them in combat, correct??
I almost ignore all legendary items at level 100 as it's pretty tiring vetting thru all the stats which most of the time are trash. Is that a wrong move?
The entire game is about grinding to get 925 BiS gear and possibly doing it on multiple characters, so trashing all your possible BiS 925s is definitely the wrong move.
This is the first video ive seen that actually explains this mechanic. Very well done sir. Helping people out with game knowlege instead of just knowing it and thinking tough shit for other people that dont. Extremely underrated video!
I have 19k attack power on a dot build it doesn't mean anything really but 925 IP weapon and main stat makes higher attacks power. Max out Intel as much as you can and the highest item power you can attack power goes up. Also damage while healthy from inbriber glyph is it's own bucket and increases attack power. Other than that it's an arbitrary number.
Sorry, but I got with 2 characters to level 100 this season and I got bored of it. What devs don't understand is, not everyone is a grinder or has the time to grind those perfect items and by the time you have them, these items lose their actual purpose. 😔 Aforementioned also depends on the player's goals set at the start of the season

When the stats are adequate, either 925 or 825 will make no difference except the armor treshold and weapon (a little bit significant)
On weapons it does make a huge difference
