- I was inspired by a chosen Maqam and it was Nahawand . At first I set limits for myself and then about halfway I sort of steered away from that lol. Oh well I guess that’s free play for y’all .
Anyhow I posted this video on my social medias and y’all REALLY like this one so I decided to post it here too :)
Thank you all for the support

Love yall🫶🏼✨🎤
I must say !! i have enjoyed listening to this improvisation!
Bravo!
And i would have suggested you to travel between maqams, its nice to start and end with Maqam Nahawand, but it would have been amazing if you for example added in the middle some parts of Maqam Bayati, which would fit so good with Nahawand second octave :)
But you was amazing, respect!
I want to learn how to improvise Arabic music¡ please is thee a way to learn¿
Yes absolutey! Get a teacher! Arabic music is not taught by the books but by listening and playing. Find someone near you or even online! Check out Sami Abushumays on UA-cam he teaches it. He also has a website called maqamworld.com and also has a book which goes into details about the maqamat and their modulations. Listen listen listen a ton and try to copy. :) Lmk how it goes.
Cool
