- The mobile tire changer model WS-561-C is easy to transport in any van allowing you to work on the go whether on the road or onsite at a customers premises. It is an electro-hydraulic unit with its own built-in generator and air compressor. Not only is it able to change tires and then air them up, but it can be used to power any 220V or 110V accessory. The operating capacity of the tire changer ranges from 13" to 27". The compact size of the mobile tire changer frees up space for other tools and equipment in the van. The machine utilizes the conventional methods of a standard tire changing unit by means of a electro-hydraulic wheel clamping device. Breaking the bead, fitting/ removal of the tire onto the rim and hydraulic tool arms are standard operations of the mobile tire changers.
I have seen a semi tire get changed out by hand faster than this machine works, in fact the tech did it without removing the rim from the truck and was done within 4 mins
How do you balance a tire with out it being aired up?
How did I get here 7am in the Saturday morning...
i do not buy it the tire was already off the bead before they started and they never inflated it. it wood not surprise me if the tire is .5inch to big for the rim.
Yeah beads are different then a car or light truck. Most times I change the steer tires or outer drives without removing the wheels from the truck. Sometime that have to be removed. Who would make or modify a tire mold to make a 22.5 tire 23 inch or a 24.5 tire 25 inch? Wouldn't be cheap.
Who buy this kind of tools ?
ساعه عشان تفك كفر في البنشر خمس دقايق ونت واقف وش هالفلم الطويل
i guarantee that no tire company has ever bought one of these. maybe a mechanic shop with lazy mechanics but us tire techs look at that and laugh our asses off. and that guy has no idea what he is doing. why are you putting lube on the sidewalls? it goes on the bead.
at least it isn't loud.... I SAID AT LEAST IT ISN'T LOUD!
WHAT?
!!!!!!!I SAID AT LEEEEEAAAST ITTT ISSSN'T LLLLLOOOOUUUDDDD!!!!!
oh ! thanks !
HeavyMetalEvilien too loud
I AGREE, THERE ARE A LOT OF CLOUDS!!
Would like to see that doing something else than fatty truck tires. These things are so easy to change. Do a set of low profile runflats and then you'll impress me.
Exactly , that size tire is easy af
I can really appreciate the engineering aspect of this machine, it's beautiful. On the other hand, i question the utility value and return on investment. I have changed 22.5s and 24.5s with a hammer and set of bars and, despite not being a particularly big guy, could probably do 8 in about half the time this machine takes. As for this demonstration - dismounting a brand new tire (not even having the bead set) from a brand new wheel is far from a real world situation.
I love this machine-please send me video of the price. I want to live longer just like doctors use technology to do diagnosis/surgery so it's this machine will help relief back problem arising from changing 5 tires in 10 sec that's shortening your life span folks. I currently have road service business and it will bring more revenue to my company-instead of leaving your car to a tire shop for 1 hr or 2 ...Ill just come to your house at your convenience and do the same work. Folk--Computers,tablets,watches and many more...EMBRACE TECHNOLOGY NOT THE OTHER WAY---IF BILL GATES WILL TELL YOU WHAT HE WENT THROUGH BEFORE GETTING TO WERE WE ARE NOW...
yes and a "house call" would cost what to change your tire $75 ? $100?
A better idea would be a PTO. I used to work out of my van years ago....couldn't get the smell of exhaust out of the truck.
I'd like to see them use this in a real life situation, on a road call sitting on the shoulder with a road barrier. Pretty sure you wouldn't be able to pull out your little green machine
I would have had my truck jacked an tire off patched an put right back on before that thing even gets out of the van. no way can be used in a real road call wtf is that....lmao
Ok wait... The bead on the first tire was already broken, so you skipped that. In addition, these tires had to be the easiest mounting tires you could possibly find. I've never had tires that loose when mounting. You could have probably just sat the rim on the ground and manually pushed the tire on... How about we redo this with a shredded tire, like the one you'll actually find on a rig. Break the bead with the machine and remove the old shredded tire. Then put on a set of regular stiff-wall tires.
Needless to say, I have my doubts.
Or how about trying to change a run flat with that thing lol
Oh man, no kidding... I did a set of 4 today on a regular tire machine and was ready to rip someone's skull off by the time I finished.
Nothing like a good ole set of wide rim run flats to ruin your day.
i Schwak ... You got that right, especially at 8AM.
Yeah this is pretty weak. I just use a sledgehammer, tire irons or golden tool and I'd have at least 4 done before he got done with that one. Good luck doing a fleet check changing out 50 plus tires like that.. I'm even contracted through Ryder and I've never seen them use any tire machine. They don't even change there own tires.
so that was the loudest geny you could find?
I like
Expensive waste of time. I use a TNT 300 mount and dismount tool that I can put money on it that Im faster by hand and don't even need to remove wheel. Just my honest opinion, great effort though.
"Have no fear ma'am, I'm here to help.... This will only take an hour."
Considering towing your car the closest tire shop, an hour sounds pretty efficient lol
Who doesn’t want tires on the side of the rd
That's to play be a tire service! I'd see your machine in a rusty wheel with a Chinese tire on.
When you mechanize some operation it is supposed to better and cheaper, this does not seem to be that. This is obviously not ment to be used roadside on a motorway with this thing sticking out in the lane.
i can change a truck tire in fifteen minutes with a sledge and two spoons
4:14 watching this got me tired.
So where's the part where the bead is broken free? I'd also like to see what happens when this is used on a wheel with an aspect ratio/profile of 60 or lower. I doubt someone that has $1,200 rims is going to want that clamp put on it.
@lbkcommander just work harder dude. Think of the money you'll save on gym membership.
You should be able to do 12 tyres/hr by hand and still have time for coffee & smokes. Plus you'll save time after work by not having to go to the gym
WOW!! really? this is a waste a money..imagine the time it would take to do 10+ tires...LOL people getting lazy and dont want to get dirty...the Balance machine is worth it though :)
id like to see that thing try to break the bead on my semi tire that arnt new and soft. would never work and would end up using bars to get it off... does it wipe your butt too?
Well, im a trainee at changing lorry tires, i can unmount, change tire and mount the tire back to lorry in 10 mins, professionals do all these things in 5 min, so i agree, its a bit slow.
Good luck getting OHSA approval. That's kinda deal breaker.
You should really show the bead breaking process. 90% of changing a old tire is breaking the bead, the rest is childs play...
Now let's see you do that with a still old super single that's welded to the wheel. Then and not only then I will be convinced!
this is a terrible design.
#1 way too loud
#2 very slow
#3 bead seating in its self is time consuming and harder then it should be.
@101savaged That is true, for a small quantity of tires. This is for changing many tires a day, week after week. Takes less toll on the body!
Could of done the whole truck with bars, before he got it off the rim!!
Your a dreamer.
doubtful...but it was slow
or you can just get a regular tire machine and do it in the van...
gwot change a truck tyre on a normal machine?!
too much work and time compared to the regular change
Chuck Norris doesn't change tires, the tires change themselves because Chuck Norris told them to.
That thing takes more time then the tire machines at NTB. I could change 2 tires in that anount of time.
"Optional" wheel balancer, ya...
2 bars 1 hammer...
With 2 bars and 1 hammer road service must be cheap which is not good for your economy, you must be a pro in order to charge a decent money, and to be a pro you must carry pro equipment.
lol Ill do 8 drive tires start to finish in 30-45 mins, most of the times wasted airing them up.
erik61801 Watching product videos makes you wonder what'll happen on the road when the tire doesn't come off easily. Because they always come right apart....
dafirnz To be honest, this machine only helps save your back. A "gold bar" or other name for said tool takes tires off usually within seconds, which is faster than even setting it up on this machine. Putting tires on is usually just as easy taking off. I do not see the benefit as the cost for this particular setup has to be an arm and a leg. I am not trying to talk down the tire changer as I see uses for it like super singles, but to call a company none professional because they only use two bars and a hammer then I don't know whats going on. Also, this machine is heavy duty tires, not light truck and cars. At least that is the intended purpose and not intended for low pro and run flats.
Devin Dowless 👍
Wow. You can do the same with two long bars much safer in the side of the road. A lot cheaper and faster too. This is a solution looking for a problem. I bet the government bought 255 of these.
***** tons of videos already on UA-cam of people changing truck tires with 2 bars and a hammer. It's way quicker.
WOW!! Somebody on u-tube doing something and has on safety glasses, gloves , long pants and reasonable looking shoes!!
!?I !
You are so not getting your security deposit back from ryder
seems like too much hassle.........much easier by hand
awesome. I rather do 15 plus tires with this machine than by hand. imagine repairing tires all day. Would you rather have this machine which requires little effort and causes very little damage or all day repairing by hand and putting cracks into rims trying to break bead lock.
Well i would like to see it break a bead.. cuz in this video the bead was already broken when he lifted the wheel.
yes it was .
+Pappy saw it break bead inback and front, imagine using a hammer and forks all day. I'd still choose this portable machine.
Ricky Anzley well i did not see it break the bead...but i did see the bead flopping loosely . still...better than doing it by hand i suppose.
***** agreed ,
Give me a couple of tire irons and a sledgehammer and I'll take care of business.
2 slow
Too much work to change a tire. Battery operated to start with so kill all the noise. Next just install a standard tire changer that swivels out and drops down for use. Same with the balancer. Easy peasy.
+Mf Fish
Seems like great idea too me also. Just a genny/compressor and your choice of tire machine and you have same set up. Just bring Pedro to do the heavy lifting :). My back is shot and I can change tires faster than this costy equipment.
what tyre fitter would use a bead keeper on a truck rim? if i did that at my work place id get an instant dismissal lol
i can make like this video in 1 minute and show anything u most do to change a tire!! its really sucks
Ya claro...ahora hazlo con una rueda de verdad. De esas que vienen pegadas a la llanta. Igual lo haces con esa máquina. Yo con un neumático nuevo recién montado NO NECESITO MÁQUINA.
All fine and dandy, but in less time than it took to set the machine up, I could changed that with two levers and a bead knocker
You can run the machine a bit quicker with practice. If you do just one tire there are guys out there who can beat this machine, this is for volume. I can guarantee you can change 5 tires faster with this machine! Day-in, day-out. ;-) This can change tires on a wheel with a 4" diameter center hole. Thank you for your interest I will send you a youtube message so we can get you a price quote.
The machine is used to break the bead. The process is shown in this video but we were using a demonstrator tire and rim with the bead already loose. You would do everything the same as the video. The part where the technician is putting lube on the tire is where the bead would be loosened.
Ok what kind of fuckery was this? While he was taking 2 minutes setting that thing up I would have done 2 tires already. 🤦🏻♂️ you’d be paying an arm and a leg to be the slowest tire changer around.
cool conept, but way to slow!
Nice machine, but I think a simpler design would be possible.
This is really made for over-the-road tires but that said it will handle tires up to 2,200 lbs and 63" in diameter. Will definitively not do a solid tire though.
waste money and time !!!!!!
Thank you. We use Ascot Tire and Tube Mounting Compound. Stuff works real well!
I can understand using a tire machine on some 17.5's or any smaller tire that has a thick sidewall, but a 22.5? Come on really?
Its like watching paint dry. Id have fitted 4, with levers by now. On shitty rusty wheels, and broken the beads by hand.
lol, this thing takes for ever. I hope he is just taking his time for the video because I could easily double this production with 2 bars and a hammer.
lol.. let's see the video then.
That balancer tends to be totally useless since the balancer has to be leveled 100%.
Thank you for your interest. Please send us your information via our website or call us at 800-562-3250.
Wandering where can you have this installed and where can you buy tools and equipment like this?thanks
is this a joke or for real by hand is much faster
All that money spent and a stupid ramp. Get a lift gate. Notice you do not see that guy rolling it DOWN. Where was the CAGE to air it up safely?
Your tech needs a SWABER not a paint brush. You also do not need to lube the sidewall just the bead.
Where the heck is the SPREADER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fix tires more then replace. For this kind of money it needs to be a spreader as well.
Been doing this 23 years. Seen 5 deaths. 3 were from tires being dropped.
PLEASE get a tailgate lift!!!!!!!!!
My neibor has been working at a tire shop for years. He says it's not something young peaple don't want to learn, and when they do,they get lazy, and don't use the safty cage. 1 1/2 years ago he was airing up a dump truck tire (old split rim) the rim seperated, broke his jaw took out 8 teeth, shadered his cheek bone, all over a free fill up on a tire that was a little low! 5 years from now thies vans will be the norm with all the baby boomers retirering, this may be their last job?
That's freaking awesome, thanks to woever built this thing. Definitely on my wish list
I can do a dismount and mount in half the time. With tire bars. The old way is way faster
Way too noisy. Alternatively, run it off a 12 volt supply. Van engines gotta be quieter than that Micky Mouse rig.
my thoughts exactly...run it off the vehicle engine, quieter , more power.
This way seems far more practical to me.
The vehicle is designed to go into a customers driveway, most are 2 cars wide. If it went out the back it would be too long for most driveways.
Also, you can parallel park at a narrow driveway and unfold the equipment into the driveway. Placing the operator off the street.
that thing is increadibly slow, espically on that alloy wheel. I can change an outside dual with it still on the truck if its an alloy wheel, If that was the case I could have had the tire changed before he even had that pos machine set up to work. and provided the lug nuts arent seized I average 10 min to change a tire, on the ground to on the ground.
this is cool... wait no its not... ITS FUCKING AWESOME! +1 for whoever made this happen
This unit will work for passenger car tires. Will not work for low profire tires though.
looked to me that the tire was off the rim even before you started to take it off. also a new tire is easer than a old one that has been on for years , you could of done that by hand .
all that and the customer get pissy paying more than $10. it's too much wha wha wha.
in the time it takes to set it up alone you could already have the tire changed over im a service truck driver and if we were to use that machine i feel it would be unsafe for side of the hiway calls its more of an in shop machine
Unless safety standards for the trucking industry improve this machine will never be used. Specially on road service. Safety cage, wheel balance, safety stands, You're joking right? You're lucky if you see tire men use a torque wrench.
Ok.its called two bars and a hammer. I could have a semi tire dismounted, remounted and airing up by the time you were about done setting this contraption up. Besides dis/mount is the easiest part. If you need this machine how could anyone believe you run a 1 inch impact gun and can get the wheel off the hub.. better luck next time.
Thats where I started but that was in 82 at the 76 truckstop in Tulsa Okla .Yes I can probably go faster but I am getting older LOL .I am looking for a good self owned business .This and maybe a mobile wash detail
Am I wrong in assuming you also took it a little slower to show more of the process are you selling these and what is the cost with the balancer .I am very interested and what is the smallest tire you can do with these
This might sound crazy but why wouldn't you make it come out the back of the van so you can operate it on the side of the road or in a street without taking up two lanes. I would imagine most mobile business would come in the form of at home service or side of the road emergency repairs.
This item/combo is not listed on your web site.
Your web site looks like a shopping cart, but there are no prices and no way to add an item to the cart. Is that an "innovative marketing strategy"?
Most ridiculous machine I have ever seen...waste of money and time. I have replaced thousands of tires by hand and 2 bars and my body is not worn out...in fact, changing tires by hand is quite an aerobic workout, your hart rate goes up and you breathe faster.
Way too slow at changing truck tyres.
A half decent tyre fitting can strip & fit an 11R22.5 in 2.5 mins by hand.
Can't see these vans becoming more popular than fitting by hand.
Van is not included. Give us a call for a price quote (800) 562-3250. Regards
@MrBurnTec breaking the bead is one thing but doing the entire job is what matters! Time is money. A little soapy water and a sledge hammer does the trick fast too!
i see where this is a unit you buy and put in any van you want.. but id want it to get its power from the motor..with say an extra alternator. The generator is loud.
WHERE IS HIS SAFTY GLASSES AND GLOVES ?
And I know it's a truck machine, but the point remains, you unfold it to the curbside leaving the operator off the street/highway where someone can run into him.
Id like to see it change over a low pro. Its well engineered but the potential for damage from idiot employees is to high for me to see a real demand.
i would never see a use for this in a service truck. if its an outside dual i could do it on the truck in the time it took him to set the machine up...
it is quicker to just use tire bars and you wont have to spend 40K on the machine, 40K on the sprinter van, and 40K on the optional balancer
give it a few years and it'll probably be able to change all the tires at once or some crazy shit like that. because after all, it's a machine, they upgrade.
I can't see a unit like this being used roadside where there's no room laterally. Seems slow too. Still -- good luck with this. I'm sure someone will buy them.
by the time he set up the machine ill have the tire of the truck n dismounted already soooo to me thats wasting time lol....
I think if they change the levers by controlling pedals it will be more efficiency... it will let the operator free hands
