People sometimes see chimpanzees as just goofy monkeys. 🤪 mainly due to how we have seen them via TV 📺 and other media. But the reality is they are extremely intelligent, they can be devious, loving, supportive, nurturing, and very aggressive. I've watched, studied, and enjoyed these animals for years and their family groups continue to show me so much more of their intelligence. This zoo keeper is amazingly knowledgeable about his group. The saying that a feared member can be the leader but not as long as say a popular chimpanzee was another thing I've learned. The alpha male is always seemed to be the most powerful for good reason. To protect his family. The females however have a more complex and intricate hierarchy. Oddly like us in a way. Women by nature are far more nurturing and loving but also can determine how things are done. Interesting video that explains and teaches us how these primates live. Well done! Looking at Alice she was a bigger stronger looking chimp. I can see why she was "feared". She looked like she could become very nasty. Amazing how a "popular" girl wins the crowd and makes the males do her bidding, like high school....lol.

@@normacotter3377 hi there… this condition you are asking about, it’s called anogenital swelling….
