- It feels great to be back home in Anchorage! In today's vlog we're taking you downtown to the Weekend Market, a great place to visit if you're coming to Anchorage! We also take you to a local park we adopted, where we see a moose! After some time at home we head down Turnagain Arm for a short walk to Virgin Creek Falls before grabbing dinner and heading back home! Overall, this was such a great sunny day here in Alaska!

Have you considered writing a book showing some places to visit in Alaska? You seem to find the most interesting shops, museums, restaurants, and nature spots.
Lived near your “home” for over 40 years. Three cold winters and wonderfully warm summers at Eielson, near Fairbanks, then moved south to Anchorage, 30 years at ZIP 99522, and east side apartments. Age and health prompted move to Lower 48. Wonderful to meet neighbors in my home.

You truly live in Paradise. So stunning. Yes,we saw the convention of mountain sheep. Where else are you going to see a Moose in a local park. Another fabulous video.

You two are just adorable! Those are Dall Sheep along Turnagain. Mountain Goats are further inland. You can see Mountain Goats around the Crow Pass Trail.
You should try the Chair 5 Deep Dish Pizza at Chair 5 in Girdwood. It is delicious!
It's like in certain parts here early morning late evening kangaroos are an issue.
It is nice to know that a deserving family will not go hungry for a good bit.

We passed the market when we were exploring Anchorage after our cruise and went down to the salmon viewing bridge and was surprised to see the large homeless encampment on the backside of the market.

I remember that drink Duck Fart ? I went to visit my brother years,ago he and My Sil live in Minnesota and he gave me a drink much like your drink I dont remember if he told me if its a Minnesota drink or a drink they got on a trip they were on there's has something called Frangelico, Irish cream and Kahlua served of course in a shot glass you pour it on backside of a spoon so it comes out layered I loved it been awhile since I've made it or drank it I would live to try yours glad you are home and glad to know you had a great cruise hope you both have a great week end 😊❤

Hey you guys!! You never mention Fairbanks, Alaska, do you guys ever go there? It's the only city we visited on our very short trip to Alaska, it was in September of last year and it was cold and snowy, we never got to visit anywhere cuz we were there for work. Love your videos, keep up the great work!
We live just outside London UK and we have Urban Deer and have the same problem with them as you do with your Moose 😞 They just jump out of the hedgerow.
I think we passed by your apartment while on the train a few days ago in Anchorage. I think I recognized the shipping containers across the street. Does that sound right to you? We are loving Alaska. Now in Fairbanks. Headed home to Northwest Florida tomorrow.
