the school system and teachers really need to work on a system to simplify materials they teaching to students. Most teachers would show you the hardest way to do things and barely explain the simplest way to do it. in other words they dont dumb it down for students to understand the concepts or solution. I never get why that is!! most teachers do not teach they just read.... SMH school system is a joke..
I didn't understand anything in class because the teacher didn't explain properly. I have exam tomorrow and I understood everything from you. Thank you!
Thank you sir I really appreciate this I learned it fast and easy. Books never clearly state what to do its like they think your born knowing how. Thanks Again
Fantastic video, however just to clarify the last question is wrong since 425.28 isn't possible in base eight? Because it exceeds its maximum base value which is 8 (the max is 7), i'm asking not stating.
Thanks for the video. It was well explained. In the last example, there is an error - we cannot have digit 8 in any number in octadecimal system. Ciao!
Really well done...only critique, you would never have “8” in an octal system so your last conversion is a little confusing due to this, but aside from that really good
I got a professor that does not let us use calculators, is it dumb? He expects us to remember everything like we're some kind of geniuses or very intellectual people, but nice thanks it helps a lot
Honestly I LOVE these vids it makes stuff SUPER easy... Just a small mistake I wanted to point out in the example on 05:25 You used [8] in the Octal system... which is ... not correct... That's all.
Sorry but I am just confused for your last example. I thought octal number system only used 0-7 so why did you have .28 as an example? Is'nt it invalid?
Please sir, explain to me why 78 (base 8) octal number system is a NaN While converting 78 octal number into decimal equivalent Please make one video on this problem
8 and above 8 is not considered as octal. Octal contains digits between 0 to 7 . example he showed above at 4:29 is an invalid octal number as it has 8 in it

Working with a fractional number (decimals)
(425.28)base8 -> base10
Dude, i have to say this, he's better than any other school teacher ngl :)
we can't say 425.28 as an octal number '8' and above 8 are undefined in the octal system it must be = 425.3

How to 0.125 by the 8 divided 8

Great video! I appreciate the thoroughness.
Thanks for teaching
You're the best,thank you❤
Thank you
Thanks a lot because tomorrow I have exam
Keep teaching ❤️😀✌️
Thanks Mr. But there is no 8 in the octal. You wrote 8 in the last example in octal (425.28) and you converted it to decimal.
I was also wondering. My teacher also gave me This type of octal number to convert into Decimal.
8 doesn't belong to the 8 base numbering system
But it's definitely faster
Thanks you so much sir 😊
I love your channel coz you show fractional part too. Thanks man.
you have got a sub
another great explanation thanks again
very good work
thanks sir from the bottom of my heart 💖💖💖💖 i understood every thing
