I feel like what attracts (me at least) us to this music is how it manages to portray our feelings of loneliness or sadness, but the instruments like the drums and guitar (or the violin in this case) provide this sense of hope, that will always persist. Even on this dark stormy ocean in our small boat, we see a faint glimmer from a lighthouse. And sometimes thought it might be scary all it takes is for us to turn a light off in order to find this hope. Like turning off a flashlight in the country side and seeing the infinite stars. It might feel lonely and scary but there is always hope to hold on to.
My writing wouldn't be the same without post rock and classical music. It influences the flow of thoughts and words, it gives them something 'religious', like I really do something meaningful, that there lies something beautiful in my mind that I haven't quite discovered yet. Writing is all I have, all I am, music took away the fear of nothingness.
As a fellow writer, I absolutely relate to your feeling. This state of 'pure' writing, of losing onself in a world of music and words, is just magical.
Oh my, is this a "1984"-inspired artwork? I mean, "War is peace", "Freedom is slavery", "Ignorance is strength", it's all from there. And the music 💯💯💯 Love it!
it sure is, and the artist for it is Nanomortis on deviantart. they make their art in this unique style, mostly expressing depressing feelings and states of mind through complex geometry and obscure gradients. you should definitely check them out if they're still there! (i honestly haven't been on deviantart for ages so i'm only hoping that their account is still intact)

the world may seem dark, weird and without hope but the light will shine again as long as hope remains and this music, this community, fills me with it greetings from Slovenia
I can't express how grateful I am, to listen to the amazing playlists you make. I've listened a lot from your channel and saved basically all of them, after listening to them and liking the songs a lot. But this is my favorite from what I've listened during this whole year - including other channels - (and I tend to listen to a lot of different music, by one album or playlist every day, because I feel a really deep bond with music). But this one in particular is really special to me; I love every song that you've included. Specially 'Love Song', it has become one of the songs I like the most. I feel such intensity and variety of emotions in it. Thank you so much for this. I hope you can continue making these great playlists, and I would be really glad if you did another of "post-rock & violin"; it's such a unique combination that channels different feelings from almost different worlds, but in the end, the result of those two elements together fits with harmony and it evokes a really pleasing sound. As if, we were all the same deep down, and even if we feel things differently, we all share the same feelings. Again, I must thank you for your videos. You've helped me discover such great music and impressive artists.
@@FerretCuddles You can't call it a pity party if they never asked for it. A person going through something expresses themselves on the internet maybe because they have no one else to talk to. The least I can do is respect that. Regardless, I am no one to change your opinion on this. Thanks for reading.
Thanks for making this im goin through some stuff and this helps a lot. Its been one of the few things that have helped me calm down. So seriously thank you from the bottom of my heart
I would love to help you and donate, I really would; but I don't have the money. Your channel is one of the best things that has happened to me, thanks to you I have been able to get through difficult times.
Wow, "Those Who Fly Alone" really blew my mind, the catharsis feels like the whole band are just brewing up a storm, the wall of air crashes into whatever was there to record it, recording them must have been an intimidating experience. On edge. I mean I'm still stunned, that was a breathtaking delivery.
This is everything I've been looking for my entire life- I've loved violin and post-rock for a pretty long time now but never thought of putting them together until now and woahh
The first track reminds me of Shigeru Umebayashi's waltz- Yumeji's theme. Thanks for this great list btw. I always love the combination of violin, electric guitar and drum.
Such a cool playlist! Btw, thanks for adding timestamps and linking the artists! "The Ascent of Everest - Alas, Alas! The Breath Of Life" has to be my favourite one out of these.
I love rock music but the way something like piano or violin integrates in those kinds of songs just hits the spot. Sounds kinda like from a coming of age Soundtrack
Thanks to all musicians for making life better! I know from my own experience that life can get tough, but if you listen to good songs you can get through it and keep going. Made some playlists for many moments in life. Come listen to them and leave me your opinion. I'm getting started. Thanks!
Oh wow...I am so shocked with this beautiful guitars and violins. Fucking dope, just amazing and really sad or little bit melancholic. Thanks so much, our friend, for posting it. I really appreciate it. Lets continue with it ! Cheers and stay safe !

Hello, thanks for the playlist! I just wanted to let you know that the original artist who did the artwork on your video is called NanoMortis. The link in your description leads to just a reposter.
13 road sounds good, but it's far from the same TSMZ / Dirty Three. The selection seemed to me to be of low quality, from the good I can only single out 3epkano. The first could be very good, if not for the disgusting mastering, in which in some moments the sibilants create a tangible pain when listening, but the violin is mesmerizing, this cannot be taken away from "Hungry Ghosts".
