I am smitten by this band. Margo glides through each song with such passion. It sets like her hearty must hurt after each show. Love you guys. I hope to see you live someday.
I can play the harmonica parts to this....used to practice it from the version from that live album 200 MORE MILES or something like that....anyway, thar version would make my cry.
1991 the day and date lost now... one of the more memorable evenings of my life. The CJ's opened for John Prime in Seattle. And Linda, thank you, it was a great ride....
I was lucky enough to see them twice during this tour. Once in Manchester and then in Nuremberg. They are just awesome. Best 30 years of music to come from a single band in my humble opinion.
I "rediscovered" the Junkies recently, and especially in this pandemic, all I want to do is listen to them, especially Margo, who has the voice I always wish I'd been blessed with, and the inner beauty to use it to its best potential.
Some songs are so beautiful it doesn’t matter who performed it. I’ve heard plenty and love them all but this band does it the best.
Awesome Woman, so beautiful the family has stayed together for years.....
I had their very first album. MARGO'S Voice has beenl..... is now the BEST.
What a fabulous job on a great song… Joni and Tom must love seeing this done with such passion🎶♥️🙏 love love love it!♥️
humility gets you everywhere.

Yes indeed, I love the way she sings Driving Wheel…she’s awesome, as well as the band members

When the Cowboy Junkies perform I would gladly be willing to drive a million miles to hear them perform.

Thanks so much for this video. Beautiful. So love this version of the song. This is a 3am song at maximum volume on one’s own.
:)
Once again getting me through life's ass kickings
So very gracious.
Damn, her voice is amazing and sounds as good as ever. Great tune.
Yes, sure is… great voice

Thankyou for making my life better!

Mike's lyrics are as beautiful as Margo's voice. Love you guys.
You're an inspiration...
This song was impressive live in Ottawa in the fall of 2018. Was on my bucket list to see them and I hope to catch them again!
Perfect, thank you for posting
I like their phrasing best
Every human hearing this will be moved in some way by her magnificent, impassioned voice. And the band provides perfectly subdued, sparse backing .
They are still going strong.
Just the most soulful band ever - love the accordian - very underrated - bit like counting crows
Greatest band ever.
David Wiffen wrote this back in 1970 😉
Funny how people think it was Tom Rush.
Ah, I thought it was Townes...
who cares this is cool
Roger McGuinn of The Byrds did a fine version of this song in the 1970s.
She aged beautifully
The Black Crowes do a fantastic job with this and when it's broken down acoustically by just the robinson brothers it might be even better?
Sorry tom.
yeah, this pales in comparison to Tom Rush... I love many of the Junkies covers.. this is not one of them..
Sounds a bit like Melissa Ethridge
You mean, Mel sounds like her
