35 years, been listening to the Cowboy Junkies...great as ever....unique when i first heard them, and they never lost that original feel. no one sounds like them
Margo can definitely sing. Lately I've been binge-listening to her and the Junkies, and I never get tired. She's an amazing artist, as is the whole band.
I've been binge-listening to the CJ's right through the Covid-19 pandemic. Superb. I'll be seeing them in Aus early next year. Thank you CJ's. Stay safe stay well.
Beautiful when it came out, kicking ass in 2019, and guaranteed to be timeless in 50 years. This, is how it's done. In my opinion probably one of the best songs to come out of the this country. You guys do Canada proud :)
@@Latentrecordings1 If that's really you, Michael Timmins, well, thank you, sir. I bought "Reckoning" after seeing you last year (2018) at the Armory in Fort Collins, Colo. I love the album. First saw you guys in L.A. for Black Eyed Man tour. Your music has echoed in my ears probably at least once a week going on 30 years now...during long rainy nights, driving in my car, through joy and sorrow. Your words are the soundtrack. Thank you for making music. Thank you for your art. It has meant, and continues to mean, so much to me. Take care and be well.
Cowboy Junkies just sounds like my childhood. I’ll be forever grateful that this music has been with me through each stage of my life and continues to deeply impact me through adulthood. Growing up on this music is probably one of the biggest reasons I’m a musician today. ❤️
Ever hear a song that frees your soul? This is it. At 55 years old, it still hits that way. I know this pain all too well. But I always rise above. Thank you for your music 🙏
They have played this song hundreds of times but here it is 2017 and Margo and them are totally bringing it like they are playing it for the first time.
I used to think Neil was about to cry when he did "Helpless", but an artist friend said it's a style and the sound of tears without feeling the tears. I disagreed. I said he wrote it with his tears. Here Margo is singing tears without showing them. I guess its all what you want to believe.
That it what art with real teeth and tissue gives us . The Cowboy Junkies break and remake the mold . You can't separate them , But she is my grievous angel .
this is such a great song with melody, instruments n lyrics just hits the perfect spot. thanx! ooh, i forgot to give kudos to beautiful vocals. that is what drew me in first time i heard this song...many years ago!!!
I watched the live stream. Please, this concert needs to be a DVD. Or better a Blu-Ray. Please?! EDIT: And the entire three hours..everything was SO good!
Thanks Keith...it was a very good night..it was actually a very good four nights. Make sure you keep an eye on the Latent Lounge playlist. We'll be adding songs from the residency throughout the summer and fall.
Thanking the band for staying strong & delivering what my soul needs most/ still going on delivering what we have come to love dearly/ 1000 more miles is my fav& can’t listen to it unless I’m belting it out with the band ❤️💡💥👏🏻🎶🥳
Margo,,f I ever get heaven. It may be debatable, but if i hear your voice i will know i made it.You are the only one i ever heard that I know can out sing the Angels. So very much appreciate your talents and those of your band mates. God Bless
Yess fucking cheap. When they fixed me and explained nothing like I'm a joke. I have traded my sleeziness to become a catfish. Bottom feeder who is cheap but resilient.

Do I am the only one to feel a lot of emotion from Margo ? Sometimes I feel she's about to cry... Maybe I am wrong. I love that woman...
