    This is great content. I think you need to Jazz it up with a more flashy tech driven approach and more to the point. My 11 year old lost interest in video but it is really valuable info.

    Great video to teach us on how to impress the people at tryouts. Would you not mind but making a video on ways to increase wrist strength for when you take your wrist shots. Thanks!

      Hey Chase, I will add that to the list... for now check out our other UA-cam videos on grip strength or upper body strength.

      White rice, white pasta, rice cakes, supplemental carbohydrate powder, coconut water, and ripe bananas all work well.

    What’s your opinion on youth competitive hockey this year as in how do you think it will work with all the covid regulations. Do you think we’ll have a normal season and have the opportunity to play at the highest level possible with all that’s going on right now. The only reason I’m asking is it’s all still fairly in the dust as to what’s really happening this year, when it’s happening, wether it’s 5on5 or 3on3, contact or no contact, travel or no travel, it’s just hard trying to understand what’s to come.

      I can't really make any guesses as it seems to be different all over Canada, let alone the world. If COVID-19 is still not under control where you live, I wouldn't be too concerned if you have to play 3v3 or 4v4 without contact. Players can still develop quite a bit with this type of hockey plus if the season isn't as long or a grueling it allows players like us to train more and get that much more of an advantage when hockey does return.

    Is Gatorade a good drink during tryouts? It is there a good pre-made sodium potassium drink to add to water bottle?

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  2 роки тому

      Gatorade is OK, but check out this article for the top recommendation: www.hockeytraining.com/what-to-drink-during-your-hockey-game/

    Does magnesium act as an electrolyte? That's what I sometimes put in my water, or is it only potassium and sodium? 🙊

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  4 роки тому +1

      It does, but, potassium and sodium are more important in an acute sense. Make sure you get those in too 👍

      @@hockeytraining What amount potassium and sodium per litre of water? Too much or only sodium (sea salt) tends to make me feel ill
