i dont think they thought abt the fact the stand can only balance by leaning in the disc drive and didnt make a better stand to work with both editions
The disc drive stand is slightly longer. So there are two different size stands

Always remove the plugs from the base, not from the cord, or risk shortages. Regardless if it’s tv plug from wall, microwave plug, stereo plugs, alway pull from base of plug and not from the cord

I would wait atleast few months before buying it, cause they may make some changes, or add a normal stand to the console

I guess probably sony will realease the Pro version in the end of 2024 close to the realease of GTA VI on 2025, so I'll wait another year, no have rush to have ps5, still fine to play on my ps4 for another year😉 if on christmass 2024 nothing happen, I'll go slim!😂 and i say "you all were right!"😂

I named my ps5 “fives”, named after a clone trooper named fives. It’s because the clone troopers color themes are blue (blue fire) black and white (armour) is like the ps5 theme color of black and white (design) and blue (blue lights)

The disc version is better because you can get much more games for a cheaper price and it can balance properly

@@broth33 You risk the PS5 falling over. For the best cooling, the vertical stand allows it to be elevated above the surface to maximise airflow while the horizontal position doesn't need additional help except for the legs.

Over exaggerated asf the stand levels it if you stopped touching it it’d work you never have to touch it it turns on but the controller and the charging port is really good if it’s hard to take it out

Placing it vertically will destroy the PS5 in the long run. There are many reports of broken CPUs because the console was placed vertically, although Sony guarantees that it doesn't matter whether you place it vertically or horizontally. Horizontal takes up more space, but is the safer option.
