What i absolutely love is that every button you see in your truck is interactable, it has a function. Not many games have that. And it makes the Simulation alot more immersive
@@tyler328that said there are some obvious minor issues, air filters degrade stupidly quickly(which is a problem when they cost 3,000 dollars each), energy cells aren’t stocked in shops as much as they should be, you can put an empty energy cell in one of the two maglock/core slots and the game will halve the energy consumption of the other energy cell. Honestly I really enjoy it but there is some teething issues that probably should have been removed before release Edit: oh yeah basically everything is stupidly fragile and just trying to put them down on the floor can damage them(you can avoid this issue by putting stuff on ledges rather than the ground where you can avoid the drop of the item)
The black button in the middle of all the light switches will turn off driver assist and disable the stability thrusters, allowing you to strafe with the cost of less control. It also has practical uses since abs is disabled, allowing you to coast at a constant speed and save fuel.
This is a great tip. I also want to add that utilizing cruise control with it, as well, makes fuel consumption drop quite a lot. I played for quite a few hours before really considering the fuel consumption difference of cruise control. It helps

@@thesweetteasystem1108 the problem is the lack of revenue from exploring in these games. The devs act like the exploration factor is the reward. If you dont monetize an action, it wont be performed in a game where the goal is to purchase more ships, equipment, etc.

I really like it. I hope the devs keep building on it and adding more stuff. Theres definately room for improvement but, out of the box, the core game systems are deep and top notch. They way it makes you think about managing systems to save money, the risk/reward loop is great. You have to plan and think outside the box.
What id love to see is the darn bed curtain closing! It is such a well made and refined game that THAT is my gripe. THAT is how far i had to go to find something "wrong" Why do i want the bed curtain to be closeable? Now youve got Nasa storage netting for safe keeping cargo (just like how the airlock is used by smart players) And its just cool to see since everything else in the truck is manipulatable. Excellent gamr
My biggest problem with the game is that the AI absolutely refuses to yield for you. I had to restart twice because I was exiting a highway, and another truck just slammed into me from below, and I got hit with fines
This game Is actually fun. Though it does need some changes like the ability to add a battery charger to charge batteries instead of having to spend a crap ton of $ on batteries. Or change how much they deplete or make em cheaper. Otherwise, the game is enjoyable and I hope the devs make updates and add more stuff. It’s almost like American Truck Sim, but in space. I also love that you can fly outside of your truck to make repairs. It would be REALLY cool to go to job sites and make repairs to stuff and not just hauling. I give it an 8/10 and highly recommend a play of it.

I love this game so far. Backing a trailer is quite difficult and the battery system is fun I think. One of the first things I did was buy a bunch of batteries and sell the random stuff that has no use and I made an easy 1k plus. I don't like that the computer truckers with just slam into you. I came out of light speed and got stoped by police, as they were flying away I got rear ended. That happened twice. But otherwise it's a great game my best friend and I used to just play space truckers in elite dangerous before they abandoned the game. I wish it was multiplayer
@@patlambert2296 If that's directed towards me I was talking about Xbox. We both redownloaded after not playing for a while and there was no support for the market anymore. It was just a dead, boring game.
There’s a few things I wish this game did better, like more visual feedback on upgrades, actual seeing your truck get upgraded, along with actual fleshed out interiors for some locations such as the “party” you go to early on in the game but over all, it’s great
Charlie, are you able to make modifications to your space hauler? like changing the color and the paint schemes? upgrading the engines or other mechanical parts on it?
I disagree on strafing, I think it would hurt the game by making it far easier, most of the fun challenge in the game is having to deal with truck movement in space. Btw didn’t realise there was an exterior view while seated at the controls, personally I feel like that removes a lot of the fun of the game, its both playable and fun without the exterior view and really encourages you to make use of the camera screens in tight spots.

Looks cool. Love physics interaction with items. Trying to make the similar in my game. Just throw your stuff anywhere - is much better than UI, which feels like job in browser
Played the hell out of the demo and have been looking forward to the full game for a long time. Needs patching for little tweaks like key mapping and controller sensitivity, I'm finding driving with controller and interacting with M+K is a workaround. Also anyone else having problems with just in time missions? I'm going off the times in the brief and I get to the drop off system like a hour before it's due, and in game time is real time so I'm literally just having to sit there. Other than that I'm waking up in the morning with that twangy guitar in my head.
As a Star Citizen & truck sim enjoyer, I was so excited this finally came out! This was the perfect game to switch to after finishing Black Myth Wukong.
