This kind of service is unobtaineum in todays world. Rich is phenomenal and the value of good work is hard to define until you get to a shop like this. I wish you were closer!
I guess that you are the only one that has the skills to properly repair these, I hate lazy people. Thanks for all you do Rich. This is why you are you the best in the industry!
That certainly is the way of things, unfortunately as fewer and fewer people put the effort in to DO good honest work it makes us more and more of an outlier. Which is just fine with us on a business side, but it's sad to see personally.
Thank you Rich for sharing your amazing work! You’re really are larger jobs. Thanks to your You Tube videos. Your coverage shows us your dedication to your profession! Thanks for sharing! 💯👍👊❤️
You made fast work of this and my god you know your stuff! I owned a 2015 QX80 sensory, and it had the timing issue. I currently own the 2023 Armada platinum awd, and they are 2 different worlds, the Infiniti is much nicer fit and finish.
Good evening, I have a QX80 and Changed the HPFP a few days ago... lifter was bad, so removed the front plate to clean the area and now the qx80 won't start, it tries but it won't. any ideas? im to far to take it to your shop, hope you can trouble shut some ideas...
stripped a 350z to do a few valves + chain, customer requested a look, he walked straight past his car, was really shocked how much strip-down involved BEFORE we played with the engine... charged about £3k, a lot of money for a 2006 100k car... but that's what he wanted...
Lmaoooo I was NEVER paying this much money for a dam car that has 180k miles onnit😂😂 this guy is upselling them like CRAZY saying everything is “damaged” this is why us mechanics are looked at as scammers because of THIS RIGHT HERE
if he puts that old used stuff back in and it fails he's going to have to re perform the work for free. A mechanic that gives a warranty on his work has zero incentive to put anything but new OEM parts back in.
Completely crazy to spend this much money on this car. you can buy a well maintained soccer mom special QX80 with this mileage for less than $10K. Interesting video nevertheless.

Better get use to haveing more and more of those roll in… takeing care of people goes along way… 👍
So we're noticing! Get the feeling there are a whole lot of these hiding around the country needing repaired!
These guys are awesome! I was scared about the repairs but I'm over 5k in on work and I wouldn't trade my q for anything!
My late father told me years before he passed that if you do good work you will always have work to do.

Won’t be long at this pace and reputation that you’ll have to change your garage name to LuFinity Garage
The cost of auto parts these days is horrendous, plus that ain’t a two minute job. They must really love that car.
That come from my small town maury county that's awesome rich people just don't trust people except you work on their stuff
Typically garage upsell, only came in for a cabin air filter….

What was the total cost, of all replacement and labor , Rich ???
Do the front come off of the 1st gen QX56 like these models?
Ideally yes all of them come apart and are serviceable this way

one thing I know we moved by hand was the thing that pushes the lifter to pull it out....

Can this cause a low oil pressure ?
Where is your shop located?
Are both oil jets to be removed and replaced when doing this job?
nope. I check them to verify they are clear. I rarely have to replace them
Bro how you took out the crank bolt 😂
Do the fan clutch too Rich. 👌🏿
You must keep the coals hot.
Rest assured your car is going to be fixed right!!!

Its simple...
1- buy qx56/qx80
2-purchase extended warranty
3- take it to Lucore bc it will inevitably need these repairs

Boat anchor.
No thanks! Too much trouble to go through. For a 80k dollars car I would expect better quality.
