- Im lucky enough to be at Computex 2024 and was invited to an early Media Day at the Asus ROG HQ - the first thing Im actually allowed to show you is the newly upgraded ROG Ally X - with cooling, DRAM and VRAM upgrades plus a much bigger battery it brings a lot of the changes to the table you have all been hoping for.

Long live your sister mate 💙
I like your thumbnail bro 👍

Pointless buying if you don't actually get a decent warranty and a reliable RMA process!
As far as I'm concerned, ASUS should be doing major damage control to their reputation instead of promoting new stuff... if they cant make a point of improving their RMA process, they will lose out in the end and people will defect to other manufacturers.
Did anyone ask them to fix there RMA problem?
Don't forget the exclusive deal of sending in your device for an RMA due to a manufacturing issue and getting a bill for 800$ dollars attached with a ransom note that you better pay up or your getting your device back in pieces. Get yours today.
Does anyone have any confidence in Asus anymore?
ya'll late to that party, I lost it 10 years ago
RMA Scammers
I will wait for the Ally 2. Hopefully, it has an oled screen with vrr and new apu.
Thank you Tony! ❤
Wicked Guv! In case Asus read these comments all well and good making improvements to the product BUT where you really need to make improvement is looking after your customers properly and fairly when something goes wrong.
To me, the RAM upgrade is the biggest non battery improvement. 16GB seemed like it could be a problem keeping the device long term but 24GB should be good for a while.
Will be performance increase both from the faster ram and from the fact that the GPU always gets 8gb of ram
@4:00 3.2 gen2*
You have voided your warranty by viewing this video.
Wait, what's happening to the mobile gpu port?
You can use the USB4 for most
Thing is I still use a ~300EUR mobile phone, and besides a powerful desktop PC and a basic laptop, a mobile gaming PC with the price around ~800EUR is a bit too much for me ... when they scale it down a bit to ~350 I may be interested. Buy overall the concept is interesting.
I would buy one, if it only cost 300€ , other than that i'm going for the LEGION GO 👍👍
Never buying ASUS again after all this RMA scam
Honestly I don't really care this device looks good I'm taking the chance
The Asus rma has been garb since 2014
I think Asus doesn't know how perccentage works. 16GB + 150% is 40GB... They increased the RAM by 50% from 16GB to 24GB which is a 50% increase. I also doubt that the storage is 200% larger, because 100% would be already be double the amount of storage, same for the battery!
ROG Alley? You mean Ally?
"Alley" is a noun meaning a narrow passageway. Example: There is an alley behind the buildings. "Ally" is a verb or noun meaning to connect by some relationship usually showing helpfulness or kinship.
Go outside and make some friends man.
Blame it on his British accent 🤣🤣🤣 he's infact saying Ali 🤣🤣 not alley
Now with a black cardboard stand? Wow 😂 should've had a built-in stand instead.
Just a shame it an Asus product.
Dont buy asus guys!! Dont get scammed!!
Ally, not alley mate 😂
Guys Fawk A-sus RMA & just buy it 🤣🤣🤣, reeeewind!! Infact don't buy it, it's your money, do what you want 🤣🤣
It is 799 pounds on there site not worth it
These devices will be useless once the battery eventually dies and Asus has moved onto something else.
that goofy spud thumbnail and intro
That so called goofy thumbnail and intro is Tom's late sister, try and show a little respect.
@@Excalabur50 not her, him idjet
@@kommandokodiak6025 Like I said show some respect.
@@Excalabur50 lmao go concern troll elswhere 🤡
Thanks for the video. Although, personally I don't care what ASUS is producing anymore.
I can't wait for computex updates!
not buying anything related to asus
So this is the final version that is built on all the feedback from the beta units that people were foolish enough to spend good money on for the last year! Oh, and they will give you the v2.0 with optical joysticks and a better CPU/GPU in 6 months time, just before these “new” joysticks start breaking and drifting, oh and you will be expected to pay again.
I want one :D
Welcome to Asia!
No new monitors?
More cool stuff please!
There will be lots 😁
What’s with the thumbnail pic, if you don’t mind me asking?
I bring my late sister on trips away with me. She used to come to all the Asus events in the UK with me
@@OC3D thanks for sharing, what a great way to honor her memory.
