OMG Kimo!!! My granddauhters would LOVE that unicorn skeleton wreath!!! They live in Utah too 😊 I'm going to give my daughter a link to your video so she can see this and maybe her and the girls could make one! And I like what you did the skeleton on the pumpkin........I'm surprised at how you were able to manipulate him into such a fun pose. And really cool/pretty day of the dead skull light!!! So with the kids all grown and us living in the middle of nowhere, we really don't do Halloween anymore. But when we lived in a city (still in the country but in a subdivision) we used to use our Cricut to make Halloween decorations for the windows and door. Mostly jack-o-lanterns, bats, and ghosts. I miss having the kids home to do things like that. But it looks like you are having a lot of fun!!! I truly love your creativity and am so happy you share it with us 🎃🦇 👻 😊 Hugs.....Janie

My fav is the pensive little skeleton and second is the Dia de Los Muertos skull, though the unicorn is very cute! My favorite part of Halloween is watching the classic horror movies (love the black and white version of The Haunting!) I also love the playfulness and excitement I see in my neighborhood and meeting neighbors who are out and about with their adorably dressed littles!

It’s a hard choice between the Skeleton in the cloche and the Skull… I love them both😍😍😍😍😍the Skull came out so cool with the Rub and Buff!!! But there is really a “ Cuteness” to the “ Thinker” Skeleton ☺️☺️☺️thank you again for sharing your creativity and giving great ideas!!! Keep them coming😁😁
Kimo, these are gorgeous, and loving the color parings here on the floral! For the skygazer, I would absolutely create a miniature full or half arch with draping vines and tiny fairy lights (depending on the color, an effect that appears like fireflies or will o' the wisps, the latter of which is so on theme as jack o lanterns originate from that piece of folklore) that gently brushes just over the "glass" dome (can also help disguise the divot on top, though you could also do that by attaching a decorative handle, a small ornament or a faux jewel or bead). If I had more time, I'd like to try to do groups of the latter two (a cluster of those Day of The Dead themed ones would be excellent in windows, on a tablescape or as part of a centerpiece). And for those who are looking for that finishing paint (wax based, so if using, keep some around for touch ups because of eventual wear away over time) , try Michaels, Joann, Amazon or Hobby Lobby,. These sellers tend to have readily available product & fall within the more affordable options (Typically $6 to 9 USD before taxes. Amaco, the paint manufacturer, also sells direct from their site at a great price, but unsure how well their shipping policies are mandated.). versus other competitive retailers, especially resellers (Etsy, Ebay, Bonanza) or wholesalers (these are riskier options, as sometimes the product is expired or sold as vintage because of the shifting market value on popular/trending items). I also know that some places will sell the paint in sampler sets but usually those run over $50 dollars USD or more (definitely seen these on Michaels, Amazon & Walmart sites), but if you are okay with that or need other colors for a variety of projects & can afford it or have a budget for it (say for selling DIYs or need it and can maybe even get it as part of professional work supply, depending on the job, country and/or circumstances can sometimes be considered a tax write off), hey, do what works for you. On a last and fairly important note, as a precaution, keep on hand some cut resistant gloves (minimizes accidents, easily available at most hardware/kitchen specialty retailers and other places like Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon, Target ,Wayfair). Even the most experienced who have handled the sharpest of blades in the tightest of circumstances will still have an eventual unhappy or tragic experience, so please be careful.

I love Halloween! I love going to the pumpkin farm and seeing all the decorations, enjoying kettle corn and hot chocolate or hot cider. And of course picking my pumpkins. All these projects are beautiful but I gravitate to the candy skull. I do a lot of drawings with skulls and actually got dressed up as one. Scared a lot of folks when I went to Starbucks to pick up coffee before work. (It was 6am )

Kimo, all r my favs ! I made a cloche with a skeleton sitting on a rock on the inside & a standing skeleton on the outside w/ his hand on the cloche looking at each other . These are all phenomenal! I did a similar skeleton cloche last year! I made mushrooms out of air dry clay and sat my skeleton on an “Alice in wonderland” style mushroom.
Gosh Kimo, these are fabulous! I love decorating for Halloween and would love to see some more Day of the Dead decor! As for favorites, I’m torn between the star-gazing skeleton and the Frida-ish skull!

Howzit Howzit? You're probably not old enough to remember Howzit, Toe Cheez, and Hiney Wine. They were all things from a radio drive home or drive to work show... of course Howzit Howzit was the greeting for Howzit. Meanwhile, back at the ranch... Kimo, I love Halloween decorations. I have a rain gutter thing thingamajig I made into a cloche. I've got a skeleton inside holding on to the side and some skeleton parts along with skeletons holding onto the outside and the "rope" (twine). At various times little toys and things in the cage. The thing is your father in law gave you is medical waste; nothing toxic or contagious. I love the unicorn. It's quite unique. My husband would have appreciated that you didn't leave it black and white. He read a lot of fantasy books. A fantasy for me these days is having enough money to cover my expenses. That Frida Kahlo skull is wonderful. It looks like what Spaniards Conquistadors imagined they'd find in Aztec civilizations. Plus... it's purdy. ☺💜🤙🏻🌈🌞

I love knowing why people act or do things the way they do, etc. I actually studied a bit of Anthropology in college. (I majored in Law Enforcement 🤦🏼♀️) I learned so much about other cultures and religion. It is soo interesting. I think because, at the time, I didn't know anything about my own 'cultures'. (Yes. It's plural lol) I knew I was a mix up of several, but have recently been learning WHAT my family's roots were. Now I'm trying to learn.. one step @ a time. 😍 Plus, I want to make sure that I'm more of an understanding person of others. We are all different and that is what makes us each so special. ❤ I also didn't want my boys growing up ignorant of people who were 'different' than them. I will find the post on Instagram and tag you on something I learned about my own genealogy fairly recently. It blew my mind 🤯, but I'm sooo happy that I found out! 😍 Ps. Kimo, these are gorgeous, and loving the color parings here on the floral! For the skygazer, I would absolutely create a miniature full or half arch with draping vines and tiny fairy lights (depending on the color, an effect that appears like fireflies or will o' the wisps, the latter of which is so on theme as jack o lanterns originate from that piece of folklore) that gently brushes just over the "glass" dome (can also help disguise the divot on top, though you could also do that by attaching a decorative handle, a small ornament or a faux jewel or bead). If I had more time, I'd like to try to do groups of the latter two (a cluster of those Day of The Dead themed ones would be excellent in windows, on a tablescape or as part of a centerpiece).
And for those who are looking for that finishing paint (wax based, so if using, keep some around for touch ups because of eventual wear away over time) , try Michaels, Joann, Amazon or Hobby Lobby,. These sellers tend to have readily available product & fall within the more affordable options (Typically $6 to 9 USD before taxes. Amaco, the paint manufacturer, also sells direct from their site at a great price, but unsure how well their shipping policies are mandated.). versus other competitive retailers, especially resellers (Etsy, Ebay, Bonanza) or wholesalers (these are riskier options, as sometimes the product is expired or sold as vintage because of the shifting market value on popular/trending items).
I also know that some places will sell the paint in sampler sets but usually those run over $50 dollars USD or more (definitely seen these on Michaels, Amazon & Walmart sites), but if you are okay with that or need other colors for a variety of projects & can afford it or have a budget for it (say for selling DIYs or need it and can maybe even get it as part of professional work supply, depending on the job, country and/or circumstances can sometimes be considered a tax write off), hey, do what works for you.
On a last and fairly important note, as a precaution, keep on hand some cut resistant gloves (minimizes accidents, easily available at most hardware/kitchen specialty retailers and other places like Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon, Target ,Wayfair). Even the most experienced who have handled the sharpest of blades in the tightest of circumstances will still have an eventual unhappy or tragic experience, so please be careful.

I love Halloween! I love going to the pumpkin farm and seeing all the decorations, enjoying kettle corn and hot chocolate or hot cider. And of course picking my pumpkins.
All these projects are beautiful but I gravitate to the candy skull. I do a lot of drawings with skulls and actually got dressed up as one. Scared a lot of folks when I went to Starbucks to pick up coffee before work. (It was 6am )

Kimo, all r my favs ! I made a cloche with a skeleton sitting on a rock on the inside & a standing skeleton on the outside w/ his hand on the cloche looking at each other . These are all phenomenal! I did a similar skeleton cloche last year! I made mushrooms out of air dry clay and sat my skeleton on an “Alice in wonderland” style mushroom.

I just don't know Kimo, you made it really hard to choose. The wreath is a little more sophomoric but cute, however I am definitely loving the stargazing skeleton. That leaves my favorite the Skull with the rub n buff. Love, Love, Love 💕

Hi Kimo. My favorite was the little skeleton in the cloche. I was thinking if you soaked him in hot water for a few minutes to soften him it would be easier to bend? I don’t know.. worth a try.

Howzit Howzit? You're probably not old enough to remember Howzit, Toe Cheez, and Hiney Wine. They were all things from a radio drive home or drive to work show... of course Howzit Howzit was the greeting for Howzit. Meanwhile, back at the ranch... Kimo, I love Halloween decorations. I have a rain gutter thing thingamajig I made into a cloche. I've got a skeleton inside holding on to the side and some skeleton parts along with skeletons holding onto the outside and the "rope" (twine). At various times little toys and things in the cage. The thing is your father in law gave you is medical waste; nothing toxic or contagious. I love the unicorn. It's quite unique. My husband would have appreciated that you didn't leave it black and white. He read a lot of fantasy books. A fantasy for me these days is having enough money to cover my expenses. That Frida Kahlo skull is wonderful. It looks like what Spaniards Conquistadors imagined they'd find in Aztec civilizations. Plus... it's purdy. ☺💜🤙🏻🌈🌞

I love knowing why people act or do things the way they do, etc. I actually studied a bit of Anthropology in college. (I majored in Law Enforcement 🤦🏼♀️) I learned so much about other cultures and religion. It is soo interesting. I think because, at the time, I didn't know anything about my own 'cultures'. (Yes. It's plural lol) I knew I was a mix up of several, but have recently been learning WHAT my family's roots were. Now I'm trying to learn.. one step @ a time. 😍 Plus, I want to make sure that I'm more of an understanding person of others. We are all different and that is what makes us each so special. ❤ I also didn't want my boys growing up ignorant of people who were 'different' than them. I will find the post on Instagram and tag you on something I learned about my own genealogy fairly recently. It blew my mind 🤯, but I'm sooo happy that I found out! 😍
