In the 60’s we had a spherical hanging lamp with spun glass that your crushed glass vases remind me of. Actually, a lot of your thing# remind me of the things we had in the 50’s when I grew up. I still have the old Haywood Wakefield furniture. And pretzel rattan. Can’t ditch them! Thanks for the ideas! Well done.
Hi, Kimo I just love all your DIYs shown and with the dried dandelions I never thought of using dried weeds you did an amazing job that I couldn't just pick one thank you.
Hello Kimo you are so talented I love 💕 your ideas your crushed glass vase I made that 10 years ago and also put the glass around picture frame made sets vase and picture frame for gifts I have a close friend who still has the gift love them all thank you
Good morning, I'm loving all your beautiful pieces the lighted vase is my favorite it's beautiful, but I do love them all, ok maybe the placemat vase maybe my a my love darn now I can't decide I'll take both...😆
Aloha kimo ... I just love everything you did here .. All your projects turn out really amazing so aesthetic ... Some great ideas ... Sending much love your way from the UK x
Love these looks…happy to find inspirations than ‘farmhouse’; which is lovely, just not the way i decorate. Thank you for sharing your creativity and artistry.
Just when I was thinking if you were going to do anything with the outer hoops of the embroidery hoops, that craft came on next. With the picture frame and artwork, You can make several pieces of art and change them out occasionally. I like the styrofoam hoop and the champagne glass. Very different. Thank you for sharing. Also liked the different lights/lanterns.
Wow Kimo what a great marathon of your work, and cant pick a favorite when i love them all, your work is always outstanding and very different from other's & all the colors you use are most that i love, Thank You so Much, oh & Praying for your friend that lossed his wife & hope he love the gift you made. Big Thumbs Up 👍🥰🙏
Aloha, Kimo. Love your crafts for MCM decor. Simple, yet effective. Keep it up. Also, your voice is very calming in your videos. Kinda enjoy that on stressful days. Look forward to more soon.
Aloha Kimo! It’s so fun going back through and seeing some of my favorites from your projects! I may have done a tray similarly to how you did the boho wood plate 😊 thank you for all the inspiration!
It's always hard to pick a favorite with you since there are so many wonderful projects, but I did really love the round metal wall hanger with the geometric gold decorations, and the pepper finish base, and the textured copper watering can, and the test tube wall vase...
Mahalo Ellen L! I’m so glad you liked it! That’s one of my favorites as well, and I gave it to a friend a few months ago who loves it. Thanks so much for your support ❤️👋
I really like those cracked/broken glass lanterns...they're as nice as can be. I can also imagine applying that cracked/broken glass technique to the surfaces of other things...I'm just going to let my imagination run free on the idea! ...Thank you, Kimo, for your time and work putting together such a nice fun creative channel.
@@KimoCraft I'm well, thank you. I'm finding your channel fun and delightful and carefree. Thank you for sharing your good spirit and creativity with everyone.
Howzit Kimo. These are such fun. I enjoyed seeing them the first time around and again this time. The mid century was all space it seems. The 60s were too. I confess I’m not sure what years are considered mid century. 🤙🏻🌈💜
Howzit Mary! If I could characterize the MCM era, it's all about lines, shape, and form with pops of color every now and again. I hope you are well! BTW I don't know if I know where you live?? 👋❤
@@KimoCraft I live in West Virginia. I needed more hillbilly in my life. I know what is considered MCM as far as style, but is it the 50s & 60s; do the 70s fall into it?
West Virginia! That is awesome. Depends on who you ask, but some people think mid century goes into the 70s as well. And even today, there is mid century modern inspired design everywhere!❤️👋
M I D C E N T U R Y M O D E R N ! ! ! You are speaking my language. ♥ I don't love every aspect of this design style, but the clean lines... yesYesYES! XD
I totally agree CurriedTexan! My home is actually a mix of different styles, but kind of rooted in mid century modern. But I like a whole bunch of other stuff too! Mahalo for visiting!👋❤️
Kimo if you take mod-podge and paint a light coating over your stencils ie. your Mandela, let dry, daub or dab your paint on and peal away there is absolutely no seepage. Have a wonderful day. Let me know how it works out for you. You will never go back to not using the mod-podge again, you get such clean clear crisp lines……. Have a crafty day…….Cheers or Aloha! Kacie V.
