Hi Kimo! So the first thing I want to say is that I have heard of Day Of The Dead but did not really understand what it was about until you explained it.....thank you. As for your statue.....I'm in awe of your creative eye and techniques you used. You are definitely an artist. I really like the painting techniques you used with the tooth pick and the chopstick. You created so many beautiful details. To be honest it's just a stunning work of art. I truly enjoyed watching this process and it couldn't have turned out any more perfect :) Hugs....Janie

Wow! I love how this came out! It looks amazing. Such a great idea! I used to find some statues creepy as well...lol. I live in Corpus Christi, Texas and every year there's a big Dias De Los Muertos festival downtown with music, food, vendors, contests and people go all out and dress up. This year I'm not sure what's going to happen due to COVID. Well see... 😊 Have a great day!

It's hard to say what I like most about this project as you've put in so many great elements: intense color, the bones, dots along the facial features, and flowers. Great job!!

I just bought 3 garden concrete figurine statues one is a birdbath with a boy beneath it and then two little girl statues I think they will come up well if I can do what you have done!!! I’m not an artist but have done a few dolls porcelain ones that came up cool so who knows
