I'm a rock and roll /metal music lover. have always been along with Spanish artists from different parts of the world that I grew up listening to . I never really liked country nor bluegrass until I watched the movie, and I got to say, it gave me a whole new understanding of bluegrass music. that whole soundtrack is absolutely one of the best I've ever heard and it definitely opened my ears to all of the beautiful sounds and different music genres out there that still need to be heard.
Dan Tyminski's got that pure country tenor that I've loved ever since I was a little boy. It's one of the things that's kept me into country and bluegrass all these years -- that vocal style. It just does it for me; what can I say? BTW, he and Jerry Douglass do a killer version of this song on The Transatlantic Sessions, the BBC series that aired in the US on PBS a while back. DVD's are available. I recommend them.

It truly is a kick ass song , and I could watch this band all day ! Back in the early 80’s , I painted Loyola collage , down in D.C. And the boss , played blue grass guitar , along with another painter , who played fiddle , and mandolin, he was really good , and had played with the Bill Monroe , the god father , of blue grass , at the time , I really liked that simple all acoustic sound , but I was still a deep hard rock / metal head ❤️👍🏻
