    In this video, our osteopath Ashley explains the basics of how to foam roll.
    One muscle group that wasn't covered in this video was the hamstrings. Foam rolling the hamstrings is not very effective so instead of using a foam roller, use a massage ball instead. This will be covered in a future video.

    Movement abilityhas intresting , but, can be extremely intense.
    Nice roller, I have the long one.

    Tried this on hamstrings, , it hurts their tight.

      Hi Clement, thank you! You could use a roller but for myself I don't. I would prefer either a lacrosse/massage ball or massage gun. I find the rollers are too big to use on the neck well. I hope that helps. Best wishes, Ashley

      Go with what feels right for you as you are doing these. I like to do between 1 minute and 5 minutes per part that I'm working. If you're new to it though I would suggest starting with 1 minute maximum per part. I hope that helps. Best wishes, Ashley

      It may awaken them, but if you need more help in activating your glutes, I recommend using a resistance band.
      I'm not a doc/physio; I'm just a regular human being who attests to activating the butt with a resistance band. 😅
