My only concern is...mixing reef crystals at 1.023 isnt gonna give you the Alk, and Mag you are going to need to long term maintain the LPS coral mainly. Without dosing, maybe kalkwasser, and testing kits and such. And also the duncans need a bit more flow than they are getting currently. Hyger, and jebao make super affordable mini wave makers...roughly $50. These would be super efficient, and sufficient for the 20

@lincolntowns1480 for th3 softies yes. But the Duncan's have a calcium skeletal base. Which needs higher alk and mag so they do not have weakened skeletons. I am by no means a nerd or guru. This is just biology breh

Water changes will be fine for Duncan coral. They grow fast, but don’t really care about lower calcium or alkalinity in the high 7’s. In the long run stability is more important than higher values

I like what you do with your saltwater tanks. You show you can have a beautiful saltwater tank that is easy and doesn’t cost a house for it. I would use a vca random flow generator for the tank. It’s a game changer for small tanks and you get much better flow without adding a powerhead.

Kudos to you for the great macro algae tank! 🥰👏 The Duncans and anemonies like quite a bit of flow. Perhaps you could fit something like Ai Nero 3s or 5s to the side panels where the vertical beam is shooting in a pulse mode across the inlet flow. This should create nice pulsating chaotic flow the corals and nems like. 👍

Pulsing Xenia do not like sand. They will not grow over the sand. You would need to put them on a rock and be prepared for them to take over the whole tank and smother your Dunkan. They grow really quick. Quicker than your Dunkan. Also you need more movement in that tank (Dunkan/PX tank). Love the fish choices. I'm looking to get one of those Coral Beauty's myself. Love the green Chromis just be prepared for a massacre. They will kill each other and watch for diseases on them. They are a beautiful fish. I had a few and won't get any more of them. Good luck with everything. Loving the set ups so far.

Setup is perfect!!! Anemones you can try, but the chance of losing it is extremely high. In your tanks first year of life, you're going to have many parameter swings, and you're going to make mistakes and anemones are very sensitive to parameter swings. I've seen many times where someone added an anemone and it looks bad and they're wondering why. It's usually the result of a young new tank, or a parameter swing, or a lighting issue. 8 months to a year is usually a good time. But if you can keep everything stable from the beginning, then you might be ok. I really hope they survive. ❤🙂
