It's Déjà vu all over again.... I seriously argued with myself on if I had or had not just seen what I saw again... I thought I was having an "old guy" moment! Love the tanks Joey! Nice work in the gallery, it looks awesome!
Get a goby and pistol shrimp pair for the cube tank! I can't believe you passed on them when you brought the coral beauty. Go back for them! It's such a cool interapecies relationship to showcase.
I just want to say that I really like your gallery now. The fish look healthy and the tanks are nicely laid out... I just want to say that I really like your gallery now. The fish look healthy and the tanks are nicely laid out... 😄
Glue the pulsing Xenia to the side glass. Easy to control and looks amazing as a carpet on the glass. You don’t want it in the sand. The polyps pop off easier and you will get Xenia in your whole system.
First of all, I'm very happy for you, that you could let the aquaponics system go, and not feel you had to continue with it, just for us viewers. I'm happy to see you doing you, and what excites you, moment to moment! I feel like you are loving your fish keeping much more these days, which actually makes watching more exciting/pleasureable for me, at least, and probably for most of us here. Does Tamara do any editing for you? That might be something you could think about, if she'd be willing to, of course. Just a thought. :) Anyhow, I'm willing to wait for videos, and having them more often as you catch up, is a big plus! LOL Thanks, Joey, for sharing everything in the gallery with us.
for the salt water tanks, you should probably use the fancy wave makers to get some pulsing currents going for the coral. not only will it make their movements pulse, it would be more natural for them to feed.
Get some random flow nozzles for the saltwater tanks. They replace the ones you are using now and don’t need to be plugged in. A pipefish would look good in the first tank with some sexy shrimp. You need to get some zoas to add some color but they can be addictive
Joey just some advice for your air pump noise if it bothers you, use some old sponge and mount the air pump ontop of the sponge. It works great for noise reduction.
Imagine sunken log with the moss on it in an aquarium with the Guppies but also with Corries, Cardinals and Red shrimp. It’s truly amazing and inspiring perhaps I’ll do it myself.
Starting to look similar to the old gallery with all the tanks lined up against the wall. That was the best the gallery ever looked in my honest humble opinion. Where it was dark and the tanks all really popped.
I don't dislike either of those middle freshwater aquariums but my vote is to redo them. Less moss. Maybe one heavily planted aquarium with lots a texture that mimics nature and another one with the opposite vibe. Something that is fun and creative (ex/ floating islands, sand waterfall, hardscape only with a carpet, maybe a cool creepy looking cave formation (something you might see in a movie - like Dagobah from Star Wars)).
The first time Joey got a red tail, I wasn't all that into it, probably because he stated from the start that it was just a demonstration of how to keep it, and how fast it becomes simply monstrous. This time I got more invested...I'm actually going to miss the ugly mug. It feels a little like my emotions are being treated like a yo-yo.
If you want nice hard purple coraline algae on your rocks use Mrs. Wages PICKLING LIME in your make up water for evaporation. Also, make sure to use a phosphate filter on your salt system. Keep your phosphate levels as low as possible. Hopefully you see this comment it will help you greatly with keeping coral
Been following through the years. Thank you for the great content. I am running only salt tanks, but I learn something for p[retty much all of your content.
I can't wait to see the guppy tank when its done, i was amazed the first time i saw a guppy tank that was breeding and how simple and easy they are to keep 😅
I keep my Oscars with a group of Synodontis njasse, the Malawi Catfish. They are perfect friends for the Oscar-Cookie-Monsters, and it is a Catfish which is not only nightactive. And realy beauty big Pleco is the Hypoatomus luteus, in Germany called "Goldstaub Schilderwels". The golden colour is timed in 3 Phases of Age. At last the fish has a golden finish all over like no other fish I know.
We've been here before ... clear out tank ,get red tail, get rid of redtail, then reload the 2k gallon lol.....just leave the 2k gallon be for awhile . Relax and enjoy the fish lol
Does the pulse xenia and duncan coral require a protein skimmer? I haven't had a salt water set up for over 20 years, but these low tech setups have got me curious.
Anybody else experience deja vu?
yep same here 😂
I really thought i was trippin
😂
😂
😂😂😂😂 yes sir
Like he said, we are here for the fish and not for the editing. 😂
I find videos with less editing to be more laid back and fun
thank you haha i thought i was trippin
I thought I was seeing double!
I almost watched it all again just in case there was an easter egg 😄
@@COLBYLAIL91 For real I thought I was having some sicckkkk deja vu
Joey is trying to see who's paying attention. Lol
twice them same video 😅🤪
It's Déjà vu all over again.... I seriously argued with myself on if I had or had not just seen what I saw again... I thought I was having an "old guy" moment! Love the tanks Joey! Nice work in the gallery, it looks awesome!
Seeing the tilapia farm could be a fun field trip video!
Agreed!
Get a goby and pistol shrimp pair for the cube tank! I can't believe you passed on them when you brought the coral beauty. Go back for them! It's such a cool interapecies relationship to showcase.
Agreed! They are on my list too. Very cool.
It’s really fun to have them in an aggressive tank and see how they act in the wild ( when I say aggressive I mean tangs and angels
the video was so good JOEY knew we had to watch twice !!!!!
I would love to see that tilapia fishery!! Also stoked for the new fish
I just want to say that I really like your gallery now. The fish look healthy and the tanks are nicely laid out...

6:04 favorite tank! Never wanted a saltwater tank but I would love that planted saltwater tank with those beautiful blue fish
That’s the beauty of your Channel. It’s basically just you riffing. Which is incredible and shows how vast your knowledge is.
Keep what you want and makes you happy nit what everyone else likes and make them happen no one’s opinion matters but yours love what your doing Joey

Hi Joey thank you for all the great videos. Would you be able to show us how to start a salt water aquarium something from start to fish. Thank you!
Leutustic??? 😂😂 What would be absolutely gorgeous would be a “luetistoc anenome”.
I love ya man, you crack me up. Keep ‘em coming.
Tanks are great just need some flow on the coral and anemone tanks. They will open more and pulse more if the water moves them around.
love how often you're updating us again. cheers.
p.s. the chroma tank is amazing.
Tank 1 with the horizontal driftwood and moss is a keeper. Add a couple red plants on each end
for the salt water tanks, you should probably use the fancy wave makers to get some pulsing currents going for the coral. not only will it make their movements pulse, it would be more natural for them to feed.
Fifteen minute mark the video starts over.
That's for if you miss something the first time.
thought I was trippin 🤣
Lmao, Joey! It's pronounced Loo-sis-tick
I'm DYING from laughing 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you!
I'm back watching you again and getting back to hobby
Same
I thought I was trippin for a second Lmao 😂 Great video tho really love the gallery so far and your ideas, and plans

Chromis tank is my new favorite. The three saltwater tanks together would look amazing.
Joey struggling to say leucistic 😂😂
Joey you should post a longer video like this to catch up. love the saltwater tanks they turned out so nice.
Nice to hear about the rehoming of the red tail, so often they just vanish off the page without a word.. sounds like he’ll be going to a good home.
The only thing you haven’t done yet is get a greenhouse and do an outdoor saltwater lagoon…..
Get redtail and give redtail to friend seems to be the cycle of Redtails with Joey.
Absolutely love your gallery and all your Fishes, amazing job Joey
Joey just some advice for your air pump noise if it bothers you, use some old sponge and mount the air pump ontop of the sponge. It works great for noise reduction.
Shrimp in with the guppies would look awesome
I'm liking the videos everyday seems like a new one every time I look on UA-cam 🔥🔥 Keep them coming.... 😂
Joe.....Yoru Tanks are EPIC......Best on UA-cam!!!!
The anemone and Duncan tanks need WAY more flow, splitting the return pipe isnt enough. They need dedicated wavemakers with random water movement.
Very nice aquariums and fishes. Good luck.
Imagine sunken log with the moss on it in an aquarium with the Guppies but also with Corries, Cardinals and Red shrimp. It’s truly amazing and inspiring perhaps I’ll do it myself.
I honestly would love to see u try a different shaped tank. Maybe a cylinder tank.
Starting to look similar to the old gallery with all the tanks lined up against the wall. That was the best the gallery ever looked in my honest humble opinion. Where it was dark and the tanks all really popped.
Joey the video loops at 14:33 😂
An idea you could use a recirculating loop on your saltwater aquariums to deliver more flow as well as maintain a seamless tank with no gadgets
Dope macro tank. I love a simple saltwater setup, it's easier than people think.
I don't dislike either of those middle freshwater aquariums but my vote is to redo them. Less moss. Get some geophagus balzani they're pretty relaxed and non-aggressive gallery looks amazing
lol Joey 9 months later.. "We bought a fish that we had before and really want to see it grow out.. you guessed it another redtail!"
Diamond goby will keep your substrate clean

Here was me all excited for a longer video
Been following through the years. Thank you for the great content. I am running only salt tanks, but I learn something for p[retty much all of your content.
Damn the galary looks soooooo good now
I was excited for a 30 min video, and boom. Just deja vu Iol.
I was so excited for a 30 min video too😂
I think you were trying to say leucistic (loo-sis-stic) but I'm not here to nitpick. Looking forward to seeing all the changes 😀
Lootistic? Leucistic is the word you're ĺooking for my king 😁🥰
LEUCISTIC not LEUTISTIC😂😂 Annddd there was definitely some DEJA-VU😂
Broooo betta community tank i use to have one and it was the best thing I've ever had to sit and watch pls do one
Within my own experience I've always found cyano to be caused through either little flow (not often) or lack of nutrients!
we'll definitely see a video of Joey buying harlequin shrimp soon. lol
Those blue whatsits are fricking awesome!
am i just really baked or did i watch that twice... either way loved every second of it
Tanks are looking good Joey very interested in the saltwater setup you are doing keep up the good videos
That bichir has done gotten huge. I remember when it was a tiny scared lil thing.
I can't wait to see the guppy tank when its done, i was amazed the first time i saw a guppy tank that was breeding and how simple and easy they are to keep 😅
In one of those tanks you don't like, you should try afee cherry barbs and some corys.
"oh, we gotta little starfish for free" that was too wholesome TwT
would love to see if you could do a guppy saltwater tank and instead of moss you could do a branching rock and cover it with GSP.
I just set up my first saltwater tank and you inspired me to try some corals and a duncan has been added to my tank.
Friggin awesome looking tanks Joey. I like your ideas on the big tank. It is a good looking Oscar. And I still watched it twice 👍👍
I won? Do I get to take the rocks out of your tank or something?😂
Joey have you ever kept Orange Saums they are similar to Green terrors but unlike the green terrors they have bright orange tips on thier fins.
I was just watching Rod from predotory fins talking about boxing match with you. I think you'd go all crazy spider monkey on him and wear him out.
I keep my Oscars with a group of Synodontis njasse, the Malawi Catfish. They are perfect friends for the Oscar-Cookie-Monsters, and it is a Catfish which is not only nightactive.

About half this video is very Déjà Vu. 😂
Okay, never mind. Apparently, this reply is very is deja vu 😂😂😂
Joey you got the video looped. Plays twice in a row
Joey, can you do a coral feeding video?
The things in this video tell me about what I like about the hobby. Thanks!
We've been here before ... clear out tank ,get red tail, get rid of redtail, then reload the 2k gallon lol.....just leave the 2k gallon be for awhile . Relax and enjoy the fish lol
What a lucky lucky Oscar getting rehomed to Joey’s 😊 plus gets to meet Tamara!
Would you ever get any Nandopsis tetracanthus (Cuban cichlid ) or Parachromis managuensis (Jaguar cichlid)?
Was expecting a 30 min banger, but got 2x 15 min bangers instead 😂
He looked so nice good that u bought him 😅
What about a clam to help with filtering.
Was so happy it was a 30 minute video 😂😅🥰
You're gonna have to write a follow up to your book: Saltwater!
JOEY! Where do you pickup your macro algae? I want to start growing it in my FOWLR tank but I am nervous
Does the pulse xenia and duncan coral require a protein skimmer? I haven't had a salt water set up for over 20 years, but these low tech setups have got me curious.
Please buy a bunch of cherry shrimp for the guppy tank.
It's cool that you got a free star😊
Bro so glad you went back to saltwater better for your energy level
Tail spot blenny in the Duncan tank
Joey is this the same video looped together? Lol thought I was going crazy😂
nice editing
Whatever happened with the Discus breeding pairs and the 20 ish juveniles you brought in?
chromis are giving me rainbow vibes :D !!!!
Did you mean Leucistic? Very cool if so!
Hi from NB! You don't have enough flow in your saltwater tank.
Information was so good he put the clip twice so we wouldn't forget lol
Information was so good he put the clip twice so we wouldn't forget lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow I was like did the video start over again lol 🥴🤦🏼♀️ did you do that on purpose to spook our minds?
Your big tank with the Oscars seems to need more lights to be brighter 🤔
Flow looks low on the Anemone and Xenia tank?
