Absolutely loved this show as a kid. Solely because of this episode, I convinced my dad to drive my sister and I to Philly from Newark simply to try out this restaurant. The food was amazing, we all got whole cheesesteaks with cheese fries. It was cool to see Adam’s photo on the wall too! Definitely one of my favorite childhood memories, I gotta go back to Tony Luke’s sometime soon (:

How often did Adam do this during the season? I can see once a week, but if he did this like four to five days a week, that definitely wouldn't be good.

Adam had a great personality along with his eating prowess, which made him very likable. Not only can this new guy not eat, he’s also lacking in the funny department, and his personality is built like a Star Wars sequel movie
Imagine being in a restaurant and seeing a man sweating profusely and unaware that he has more food on his face than you have on your own plate. That really and truly sums up this show.
Adam cracks me up, great guy, Tony is adding more meat & cheese to the sandwich & Adam says" oh my gosh it is getting bigger", lol, no shit adam, no breaks, with that much food taking a break will cause you to never start eating again, the girl had the best idea, cut it in sections( I would do 5/1 pound sections) eat as fast s you can before your brain gets the signal to stop cause your full again
@ZyklonBeast IF it's made correctly, with only bread, steak, onions and cheese, then it's good. That's it though; anything else is NOT a Philly Cheese.
This is gonna make me sound like a total fatass but I would absolutely DEMOLISH this in 15 minutes. I make them this big at home and usually finish before I can get through a 22 minute episode of tv
These cheesesteaks are super good. Went with my wife at the time we got a sandwich each, it was so good we ended up getting a 3rd to split. I think I could this.
yeah total dude to make up a challenge, get tv there....no doubt has some family in the business or else adam would have gone to pats or genos.....no one knows tony besides this. good marketing though
I tried this. You have to ask for it as it isn’t on the menu anymore. I ate half only. I knew I was in trouble when wifey started telling me I was taking “princess bites.” Recommend going with a cheese you’ll enjoy and not get sick of tasting as I did with American.

Yeah there`s a reason he quit after two successfull seasons. Glad he took care of himself.

He talked about this in a podcast/interview, it's here in youtube, most of the weight he gained was in MvF Nation, and not the first show.
