Spilling all my secrets!! 🤫 Showing all my bettas! 😂 I suppose I’ll allow it since you’re letting me use your QT tanks til you build me my betta rack🥲 I guesssssss I’m a bit spoiled🥰🥰
betta rack... a huge tank would be better with loads of plants then a mix of males and females let them do their thing like nest and attracting females like in natural habitat.
Question for you.. I am building a rack to hold two 75gal tanks. I have watched several of your videos about tank stands. I could not find one on building racks. My question is how do I build it without covering some of the tanks in the front? Supporting the side with 2x4 and front corner with 2x4 ? Do you have a video showing how to build a rack that holds 2 - 75 gal tanks? Thanks for your channel. Its very helpful.
General info for Nicaragua Cichlid says males can hit 10″ (25cm), with females can hit 8″ (20cm), so if you can get them there, they may be safe in the big aquarium.
How about some electric blue acaras!? Those are my favorite fish they get 6-8 inches and are so pretty!! Bonus from South America. Only downside is gotta get big ones
Hmmm parrot fish are actually my favorite breed of cichlid. Polar parrots, red/orange parrots I love em, their so interactive & my polar parrots breed super easy (even tho ppl say “hybrid parrots can’t breed” YES THEY CAN! I have the pics to prove it. PLUS how do they exist if they don’t breed??? 10:59 WHOOOO those are BEAUTIFUL fish the blue ones.
Nice Parrot fish! I have one in my large Cichlid tank. I also love your Oscars, their pattern (the black, grey, white and orange) is different than I usually see.
10:13 - those are all cyanobacteria or red slime algae in your saltwater macro algae tanks on the sand beds and rocks In both the tanks of marcoalgae ( one with fish , one without fish )
Looking good Joey , get yourself some cerith snails for the cyano & dose some more bacteria but it’ll clear when it’s ready too, maybe a few conch snails too they’ll sort the sand bed right out , also tell the ladies to drop a pin 📍 on maps next time they park the car 😂
Thanks for the video Joey. I have a female Nicoraguan in a Costa Rican biotope with a bunch of other fish and you're right. Very colorful, very underrated, one of the most colorful freshwater fish out there, especially the females.
I've yet to see a peaceful salvini. One breeder said to me that they weren't that aggressive originally but when they were introduced in the hobby, reckless breeding resulted in unnatural aggression. I don't know how much of that is true but in my experience, salvinis are just plain nasty. They might be peaceful with much bigger fish because they can't fight them but if you keep them with anything close to their size, things probably wouldn't turn out well.
Any of you those smaller SA cichlids (Ie convicts, pink convicts, Nicaraguan, etc) will easily establish breeding pairs in that 2000g. Especially with all that wood. They will add a lot of life and movement to the tank.
Take some Echinacea and Goldenseal that should help your cold here I take mine right before I start feeling something coming on and then I normally never get sick. But also don't forget to take your vitamin C
i kept 4 king kongs before they are very interactive fish if you keep them for a long time. After, keeping them for a year they grew a few inches and every time they saw me they would come to the top of the tank for feeding. However, i lost them to some white disease on their skin…😢
@@rafameza4186 Technically Parrot cichlid is its own pure species of (Hoplarchus psittacus), with their species name (Psittacus) literally means Parrot. I knew this would start happening, people would start leaving out the blood part as they aren't all red, personally i call these hybrid cichlids, Jellybean cichlids, based on their body shepe and colour range. Jellybean cichlids likey have some Midas cichlid and Flowerhorn cichlid in them, but you do have to note the lack of any nuchal hump, that is very much a part of Midas cichlids and Flowerhorn cichlids. They also have the short body trait, but there's something else that giving them that rounded head, with a low set mouth, possibly something like Severum cichlid, Nicaragua Cichlid, etc.
Try a pair of green terror cichlids. They are absolutely amazing i had a pair with lots of cichlids, Colombian tetras and giant danio in a tank and they never caused a fight.
Are you kind of worried about the spines from the urchin coming off and possibly injuring the fish you want to keep with it?; also when did you move one of the clownfish?
Formerly Cichlosoma Nicaraguense, they are very attractive and grow to between 4 and 5 inches, which are on the large side of dwarf Cichlids. They are good community fish with tank mates of similar size and temperament. I did have Cory cats with mine. They are pleasantly colored and worth keeping in an aquarium of 30 gallons or larger.
The big orange fish I have seen before. But they do get large and like salt water. Be aware that salt water aquariums are not as easy to maintain as fresh water because of the need to measure the amount of salt correctly. But if it is worth the extra effort to you, go for it. Just remember salt water species also tend to need more room than fresh water species. And remember that the large orange fish like to eat algae. I know what the orange fish are I just cannot spell the proper name correctly.
@@cambuxton6835 Garibaldi damselfish (Hypsypops rubicundus) by any chance 😂. Joey knows the roundhouse basics of Marine set up, he has had and does have several different set ups.

Betas are the way it starts goodluck on ur future in the hobby T the route to marine 😂
If you like colorful animals, take a look at all the different shrimp
Was wondering about that Betta rack 😂
betta rack... a huge tank would be better with loads of plants then a mix of males and females let them do their thing like nest and attracting females like in natural habitat.
If they are born together, you can get many in the same tank
Lol, Tamara's videos are fun. I love when she exposes you.
Pair of fire eels would looks amazing in there plus more red for the tank 😂
This needs to happen.
10:41.. 😂 Joey, a clown somehow got in to that tank! Or did you put one in there on purpose..??
Yes, the shortcut was totally our idea! 😂😂 Definitely was a fantastic day!
I love the Parrots, and the new additions you got. Loving this upload😊

I've never seen a "blood red Oscar" LoL 8:18 Joey. I've had lots of Oscar's before must be a new species huh?
Wow they look amazing nice❤😂😂
the planted salt water is gorgeous.
Good looking parrots!!!! 🦜🦜
3:47 "Real parrot" 🤔 For me that would be Parrot cichlid (Hoplarchus psittacus).
True. But you know what I meant! Haha
Hey Joey - love the video! If you get a polefilter for your cam you can eliminate almost 100% of the reflections
Also, would love to see some scarlet badis or brichardi cichlids in a tank!

Beautiful orange fish.
😮that cutie king kong parrot from 1fish 2fish Dartmouth is in my tank now ❤ I think I went that evening after you visited 😊
When that fish cranked that PVC 😂 whoops
I’d add in some Geophagus since they stay toward the bottom and your arowana will be always hanging towards the top
Anyone know the kind of substrate around 6:50 in the video? Setting up a new tank and that would be perfect
Try tilting those led lights toward the back wall to soften the reflection.
i have 2 electric blue acara and 2 parrot cichlid take with 2 pictus and a few corydoras in a 75g and its becoming my favorite takd. great contrast

Luv the parrots 👍👍👍
Joey I can’t wait to meet you when you come to Calgary!
Less than a month!
what do you suggest for catfish in a 120 gal i want a tiger shovel nose but they get to big anythiong simaler that dont get as big plzz help
Planted saltwater tank you should add a pom Pom crabs

You need to get some diamond gobies for your saltwater tank. It will help your sand.
Awesome fish as always Joey. Hope you get better mate
Do you ever buy api zyme or fritz zyme for like a booster to bacteria. Even established tanks it's like a nice kick
Do you think you’d ever house some turtles or not really interested? Great video as always Joey :D
Thanks for the video Joey. I have a female Nicoraguan in a Costa Rican biotope with a bunch of other fish and you're right. Very colorful, very underrated, one of the most colorful freshwater fish out there, especially the females.
My suggestion for a fish to put in one of the new tanks would be a leopard ctenopoma.
Maybe you should do a Australian tank with Jade Perch ans Silver Perch :) Allways been fasinated by those fish.
Electric blue acara with the oscars imo ❤
2:08 There shape is more akin to King kong cichlids.
That crab fish looks like a daddy long legged spider lol
TRUE PARROT CICHLIDS FOR THE BIG TANK!!!!
Fully grown angel fish would be cool
I picked up two blood parrots for my tank as well a few months ago
I have a Nicaraguan cichlid and it’s 6”. One of my favorites.
A beautiful peaceful and often overlooked cichlid is the salvin's cichlid. 6-9 inches max and beautiful coloration.
Salvinis aren't peaceful at all, they're very very aggressive. Cool fish though
@@soumyajitmandal6028 in my experience they've been model tank mates with fish that are bigger than them.

Yeah I had 2 about 7 inches with 2 Oscars a green terror and 10 giant danios. There was some normal cichlid aggression but nothing over the top.
@@TheGhostnshell I'm surprised the danios were alive, but then again they were probably too fast for the salvinis

Cichlasoma Festae, Rocio Octiofasciata, Chichlasoma Citrinellum or a group of Angelfish
Red
Texas Cichlid

lol Thumbnail has Betta fever. you better be careful joey, she going to take over the house with betta :P
In yours previous video I commented to get blood parrots and just saw this upload 😃 made my day. Love from India joey
Jack dempsey fish would contrast so well. Not sure on their aggression though.
great, you should aldo get a pair of electric blue acara for the contrast!
The parrot cichlids look like they're mixed with Midas cichlids or could be Red devil cichlids
I agree!
Samething I was thinking
Parrot cichlid is a mix of Midas and flowerhorn

Get a jaguar cichlid they are beautiful
I want the King Kong cichlids I'm jealous!!!
One of the 15 gal need to be a fancy pleco tank!
What substrate is that in the quarantine tank? 5:07
How would the big species of archer fish go with your arrow. Would be good themed combo for the top of the tank.
Where did you find saltwater plants?
you should get a bunch of trophius for the big tank
We need a panda uaru update, they’re my favorite fish you have
I was actually going to ask for an update on them as well
Add the true frontosa to the tank. A huge male would look amazing in there
It's crazy how often the Oscars change color with their little mood swings 😂
Uh oh Joey did you get hacked? Should I report this comment?
Definitely Geophagus
Tbh they look like a mix ive seen before of king kong parrot and red devil or midas cichlid
You need to get a Pacu
I suggest getting a couple geofagus cichlids they get pretty big if they are available for you
The urchin dropping spines is a bad sign. You will need to supplement with algae wafers until that tank becomes much more established.
The parrots look happy and interactive.
Yes... they can be quite personable.
BANGER ZADDY 😅
10:41 stray clown fish alert haha
He was getting bullied . I put him in there for now
Can you get more shark eggs and hatch them?
May make 1 of the 15 gallons into a elephant nose setup, they are awesome
Try a pair of green terror cichlids. They are absolutely amazing i had a pair with lots of cichlids, Colombian tetras and giant danio in a tank and they never caused a fight.
Why is there a clownfish in the planted saltwater tank? I think it wasnt just a reflection?
10:35 defineatly not just a reflection. how did he do it?
Chocolate cichlid would be cool
Echinoderms are so cool
Get your old ladies back! You know the Viejas😉. That you couldn't pernounce the best, but we love it non the less.
More plecos, get one of the massive ones from predatory fins or another sunshine
hey man ! i have some Uaru cichlids or the panda uaru cichild and there awesome fish you should totally look into them
I think that's what those parrots are mixed with is severum
Try keeping some crenicichlas they are soo cool
What do you think about the 6000 galon tank from blake ear ?
Schooling fish in the 2000g like tinfoil or mascara barbs?
Are you kind of worried about the spines from the urchin coming off and possibly injuring the fish you want to keep with it?; also when did you move one of the clownfish?
a jack dempsy would be a cool color change or electric blue acara]
What about a big puffer?
Correct me if I'm wrong but don't urchins eat vegetation??
As someone who is also suffering from a bout of man-flu, you have my sympathy.
Definitely a kk parrots
You should really get some crabs!
Arowanas remind me of RoRo ferries. The mouth being the hatch lol, (that's blasphemy I guess - The Arowana is beautiful, cool fish.)
