I told Akko about the mounting idea and here is what they responded with! Honestly a very good response, hope we can see their ideas improve further! Due to the limitations of resin production processes, it is currently difficult to achieve a standard gasket structure in mass production. For users seeking a softer and more elastic feel, we are actively exploring the possibility of implementing an O-ring structure or other new structure on existing setting. Once there is any progress, we will provide specific mod instructions and will also try improving future versions. FYI, the resin case will overall provide a clacky sound profile for YU01, and we understand that making it softer will greatly maximize its potential in various perspective.
@@nickg2633 I second this. All it would take in the manufacturing process would be the inclusion of Bakaneko style mounting points and cutouts on the PCB. I would pick one of these up in a HEARTBEAT if they used that mounting style.
Im thinking of adding this to my collection.I got to say the rgb is the main point for me looks amazing. my fav set up you did was the mirror with rogue keycaps! Thanks for the vid
i personally have this keboard , i really love it but i think about changing the keycaps! i wanted to get the JTK rogue keycaps but turns out they cost 90 DOLLARS 😭 A KEYCAP SET COSTS LIKE A WHOLE KEYBOARD. so yh i'm probably gonna get some other keycaps (btw why do they actually cost so much , it's like they are made of diamonds or sum)

How about a gasket mount using a large o-ring around the PCB? This should be much easier to implement.

Definitely like the sound of the mirror switches over the others!

Yoo! Akko has been silent for a while and they came out wit an insane looking keyboard. This sounds too good W vid btw:)
Was looking for the Mirror Switch, and then saw your video as the top result and didn’t expect you already have it
Akko is back!!!! I missed Akko so much
Needed a sound test for this keyboard. Thinking of getting this for the versatility & durability of resin.
Man I want to grab this keyboard! Need a resin keyboard in my collection, surprisingly do not have one yet.

This reminds me of akko acr top40, which they manage to make it a topmount, would've loved a 60% of it
And they recently dropped the MU02 which is the 75% version of their wooden keyboard. Akko is really trying to bankrupt me this year 😭😂
I have the MU02 and they are WORTH IT. Gorgeous and looks like a musical instrument almost.
LETS GOOOO I always loved resin cases
I like the look of those stock keycaps
Those keycaps look gooood
The mirror switches seem interesting
Wow that looks insane
fabulous
Tray mount + no flex cut PCB = firm typing feel, my favorite. If you guys want bouncy stuff plz get another keyboard.
Peace Lewis!!!
Nice sound also if i prefer switch with the font that u can see the rgb...i love rgb xD
it would look so nice if the keycaps were blank
resin case always have good sound..
thank god the o rings exist tho
sheeshers
Please do a review of Lucky65 V2
The Mirror switches are similar to Cherry Speed Silver?
Looks like the switches r sitting a little too high, switches visible from front
BTW, that's JTK Rouge and Not Rogue... Like the makeup.
What are the keycaps you used on your gmk81?
For anyone that knows, is resin food for a thocky build or mainly clacky? I've mainly had abs plastic and aluminum cases
