I would have tested white letters on the purple or used a cooler toned yellow but overall great episode. The effort you put in is commendable. Expensive keyboard! Would watch more of this if you wanted to do it again. 😊 glow in the dark....glitter!

I think Millie (short for Millibar) would be a great companion name for Pascal. Especially since the ratio of millibar to pascal is fitting for the sizes of the pressure pots.

I would suggest the new pressure pot be called Barye (Barry) to keep in theme with Pascal as a unit of measure for pressure. Barye is the CGS standard unit equal to 0.1 pascals, so there is an inverse proportional relation between the pressure pots, but that's because nothing can compare to the original.
And 1 bar is 10^5 pascals so it keeps with the fact that he's bigger!!
My favorite part of an E&K video is when they say “it’s resin time” and resin all over the place.

I know they said they don’t want to make another one, but look at it this way! The next one will be so much easier! You have all the molds already, and you now know the best practice for all the keys with how much you learned!
You guys should make a silicone keyboard now! I think it would be interesting because silicone is squishy. :)

I have a silicone keyboard
I've had a couple squishy keyboards and trust me, the last thing you want is a keyboard with extra flex. It makes it feel super-cheap and is much harder to type quickly.

Based on collabs with other UA-camrs, I don’t even think Katelyn is particularly petite. I think Evan is just unbelievably tall. That’s why he always has back problems, poor guy.
@@MeredithHagan I think Evan is around 6'5 (maybe it was 6'7, I can't remember)? And Katelyn was around 5'7 or something. In their mixing all their resin pigments video I believe, they have their heights displayed at one point

I love and respect you guys putting so much beautiful technical work into something.... and then immediately being okay about not convincing yourselves you now have to make more and sell them. Maybe that's just where my brain went because... I would buy the hell out of them. But my need to turn every hobby into some kind of income is problematic. You're both heroes in my mind.

Me as a guy who likes glowsticks, I had to figure out a way to have rechargable ones. I found super great ideas on the internet and I had my own toughts as well. I made a few one(using resin) and it turned out pretty well. If you guys would like to make a project that only require a few days, I have the best idea for you! I will tell you the ideas later, 'cause I assume you won't see this.

Dear the both of you. I saw your video with the 'floating table' and I have an idea I want you to make. A floating table held up by magnets, the inner magnets of the table will be trying to go to the floor while the outer ones are trying to get away from the floor. If the magnets are of equal strength you may be able to make it float.
P.S please use resin for some part of the project if you do do it.

Looks awesome! For the new pressure pot, I would call him Hugo because he is huge and now that he is lived he is ready to go. Lol. Also now that you have keys with the symbols engraved you can make molds of those so you don’t have to redo the engraving if you make more.

Here'a an idea: You could make a mould of bottom sides of all the keycaps at once, so you could just pour a slab of resin with already built-in stems. It would allow you to make a design that's uniform across whole keyboard (like galaxy, for example). Then you just cut out individual keys on the cnc and have whole set in one go.

Nice. Now: up the antie-- when you fill your keycap molds? Have ready, the letter/icon pre-made in a contrasting color, and *just* set them into place before the resin cures. Cute little letters, numbers and whatnot, made of ... RESIN. :)
True story: They had to make a silicone mold of my teeth at the dentist, and the guy walks in and looks 100% like Evan. And here is the best part: They almost pulled out my teeth because they forgot Mold Release :)

I really love how creative the editing is in your videos. You both are so creative and make beautiful projects while documenting the process and turning those assets into incredibly entertaining videos. I can’t imagine how many extra hours of work the full edit of your videos add on to the total project time. Creating the product, documenting it, and editing it looks like an incredible amount of work - but the end result is so fun and creative. These videos are packed with so much personality and charm. Since the little pressure pot is Pascal, maybe his bigger buddy is named “Newton” (as in Newtons per sq. meter - an older way of measuring pressure)!
Of course you could also name him PSI (pounds per sq. inch) but that just makes me think of Gangnam style’s Psy. :D
I have a great idea to speed up your resin keyboard CNCing process!
Make a base that will hold the entire set of the keyboard keys. Then load it into the CNC machine as one immobile item. one keyboard at a time instead of one key at a time.
In fact, depending on your workable area you could make a frame that holds multiple keyboards in one carving.

For off colored keys where you can’t use a matching color, as it wouldn’t stand out. They can be done with silver for the lettering, making them stand out in more than one way from the normal keys.
It is beautiful, with the purple one you could have made the engraving yellow or white instead of black for it to work. But you made it work in your caracteristic pallet color. Maybe next resin laptop?😳

When you first showed the accented Q key, I thought you should have used something other than black because of the purple keys. I think gold would have looked really nice 😊
