Lyrics
---------
On the first part of the journey
I was looking at all the life
There were plants and birds and rocks and things
There was sand and hills and rings
The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz
And the sky with no clouds
The heat was hot and the ground was dry
But the air was full of sound
I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can't remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
La la la la la la...
After two days in the desert sun
My skin began to turn red
And after three days in the desert fun
I was looking at a river bed
And the story it told of a river that flowed
Made me sad to think it was dead
You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can't remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
La la la la la la...
After nine days I let the horse run free
'Cause the desert had turned to sea
There were plants and birds and rocks and things
There was sand and hills and rings
The ocean is a desert with its life underground
And a perfect disguise above
Under the cities lies a heart made of ground
But the humans will give no love
You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can't remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
La la la la la la...
Thank you all very much
Take care of yourselves, take care
I love it when HSCC has a shift around. Brad as a great voice and Jordan keeps a great groove... Brilliant choice of song too... Ace!
Very cool! ❤From Quebec Canada 😉✌️🎼🪈
These Guys and Gals are awesome. Their voices incredible. I Love um. Shame they’re not British 😂 well done you Aussies.
Yes, there have been a few singers that have come and gone, but it's impossible to not recognize and appreciate how incredibly rare it is that 5 good friends, FROM THE SAME CITY lol.....Danny, Jordan, Kat, Brad and Con, have been blessed with such stratospheric talent they can cover, to perfection, 90% of the songs from the 70s, 80s, and 90s that became national and international hits. That amount of material is literally impossible to quantify. That's why HSCC is the #1 cover band in the world.
🙏🙏
You should get Brad out from behind the kit a tad more often!! Would suggest giving him a shot at Ventura Highway!!!!
A little Yacht Rock with The HSCC! Let's be honest, by a show of hands, how many listeners out there were singing along? Great harmony, laid-back, and relaxed, easy listening and mixed to perfection! The HSCC, You CAN Do Magic (hint). ❤
That’s the first time I seen a resonator bass being used by ConZ
6 guys making BEAUTIFUL MUSIC!!!!! Brad your voice is mesmerizing!!! You should sing more often. Job well done guys!!!!❤❤
3SSsp3peP❤Pepsaeap_❤'
Just as good as America
wait? what? Jordan on drums, Brad on acoustic guitar and lead vocals and Con playing an acoustic bass?!??! 🤯 Amazing.
Man what a voice!! He should sing more....what a talent!! Drums, guitar and vocals!! And his drumming is memorizing....thank you for sharing your talents with everyone!
I've admired Brad's singing skills (especially whilst drumming!) ever since his take on The Eye of the Tiger - equally impressive (if not more). What a guy!
And "In the Air Tonight" (think Phil Collins) plus backing vocals often
@@Gra8m8 no doubt!!
And don't forget, "Don't Dream It's Over" !
This song requires a very special vocalist who can add color to predominantly one note. Exceptional, Brad!!
We always see Brad on drums and look how great he is at the guitar. Same with Lennon... what a group of talented people ..greetings from Medellin Colombia
Not to mention his vocal prowess!
This is what UBER talent looks and sounds like!!! Such versatility. Incredible Brad💥
Hats off to the percussionist in the background. Always there and always on point.
He is great
Yep, perfect in the background of the song
That is Steve Todd!
You beat me to it. He was spot on!
Bongos
One of the most beautiful songs ever made. Resurrected by one of the best drummers of this moment. What a voice. And he plays guitar like he does it every day on the main stages of the world.
Thank you. My weekend is made.
Such a pleasure to see all these old Songs played live again in a modern setting. Love it!
Great version fellas as always. I love America they are a legendary band.
This song brings wonderful memories. After school and homework done I’d jump on my horse and ride and daydream ! His name was Cobre ( Copper) he stayed but I always went back to see him every chance I got and listened to this song as I rode him. He’s gone but he will live forever in my heart. Thanks for this beautiful song❤
One of the greatest drummers in the World, Brad Polain now shows he is multi talented and an ace singer. All musicians performed at 100%. This is World Class entertainment, salute HSCC.
One of the greatest drummers??? ...Really?
Got to be in top 5!
All their musicians are in the world top 5, speaking of Brad, I'd say he is number 1.
He is the best!!!
yeah he is good...but you gotta admit Igor Javad-Zade the drummer in Leonid & Friends is more awesome !
One of my favorite songs from there 60's growing up in a cup-de-sac with children from many ethnicities in San Pedro, CA. Thank you for the beautiful memories through this song.
1971. Acoustic soft rock. Similar to Crosby, Stills, & Nash (also late '60s and early '70s).
Absolutely absolutely amazing 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤
Amazing ! Back to the good times !!
Vocês são MARAVILHOSOS 💕.... músicas ótimas! Instrumentais incríveis! Cantores sensacionais! Vocês não fazem idéia de como tocam os corações das pessoas! Nos fazendo reviver e relembrar momentos! Amo vocês ❤😍😍👏👏🇧🇷

So good to see Brad front and centre, awesome drummer, guitarist and singer!!! Well done guys, loved it!
Gentlemen , You have captured the hypnotic effect of this tune wonderfully !!
agreed. HSCC is bringing something to this song that I hadn't seen anytime I saw America play this: a VIBE. America's big hitting point with this was the singer/songwriter phase, as it had everyone calm down and chill out from the height of the issues at the time. This.. this is just a vibe, and it's really just gets you to close your eyes and just get lost in it. it's that good.
musical chairs maybe but musical excellence always 👌
Spot on, very good point, they are so versatile.
Love it when you do the all guy thing...💚💙
HSCC, maravilhosa apresentação, sem dúvida, um clássico tão clássico fiel ao original. Parabéns!!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Another classic 👌 Brilliantly done by the talented musicians HSCC band❤
Just excellent. Made me think of the olden days when America were at their best. I had to make for my man shed and dig out their 1975 album of greatest hits on vinyl and play. Memories.Brilliant.
Looks like Steely Dan next album to play on my 1980's record deck. You've woke up my memories of that great era of the 70's
...and yet another beautiful song that HSCC nails! 👍
Vocal Harmonies gave me goose bumps ...
More from America this is great 😮
One of the most famous 2-chord songs ever - well covered fellahs!!
Cada vez me gustan más. Desde México wow!!!
First performance I’ve seen of everyone sitting. It’s a cool friendly vibe!
Brings me back to 1970. Nice! America had another popular song call You can do magic. Maybe play that too.
Love The HSCC and The performance in A Horse With no Name. Beautiful, Amazing and Perfect!! Love This band!! I'm a Brazilian Fan!!!
I was expecting this to be good but wow!!!!!!
The best band for covers, amazing!
Nice seeing this part of HSCC getting their chance to shine. Well done here, AWSOME and clean sound. Bring back the 70’s here.
