It’s called Tres Leches ( 3 milks) cake , bc it’s made with , whole milk, evaporated milk & sweetened condensed milk. That’s why it’s such a moist & “chilling feeling “ cake. I DID notice that the slices had a little bit of milk puddling at the bottom of the cakes. That’s an excellent sign of a well made Tres Leches cake. I always wanted to send them a cake from my home. But never got a chance. I am not sure if anyone here has ever heard or tried a Smith Island Cake but i used to eat it as a child. I didnt find out till later that the cake has earned its mark in the the world of cakes. I have a feeling seeing all the layers on the cake it would be mesmerizing for them.

This weekend my wife and I made an old favorite dish of ours, and many, many other people, called Mississippi Pot Roast. If nothing else, everyone will have fun just trying to say it! It's super easy to make, and it tastes amazing! Here's how to make it: Ingredients 1 Large Beef Chuck Roast (Around 3lbs, or 1.5kg) 1 1oz package of Au Jus Sause Mix 1 1oz package of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix 1/2 Cup of Unsalted real Butter (1 stick) About 5 Pepperoncini (You buy them in a jar) 1 Crock Pot or large Pot with Lid Instructions In Crock Pot or Large Pot, add Roast. Pour in Ranch Dressing mix first, sprinkling over meat. Next, pour in Au Jus mix, sprinkling over meat. Place butter on top of the whole thing (If not in stick form, place pieces all over the meat). Add Pepperoncini, placing all over meat. DO NOT ADD WATER! Place lid on pot. Cook on low heat for 8 hours without stirring until meat falls apart when using a fork to test. Serve with favorite vegetable or rice side dish and enjoy!

This is the best cake I've ever had. My neighbor used to make it for me and grandchildren. Delicious. Ours used to be soggy with the milk. Ours looked different than these.

They should try Boston Cream Pie. Kinda similar... vanilla custard layer in between white cake, and has chocolate icing. When I make my own, I use banana pudding in the middle, instead of custard. Yummy!

I would love to go out to eat with these guys in NY City for a week straight. Hit all the great restaurants and pastry shops from China Town to little Italy and every where between. I would also have to include several places on Arthur Ave ,Rao's, Katz deli on Houston, Ferrara's bakery , lemon ice king in Queens just to name a few. I know Chaudray would love the Italian desserts!! A bunch of great guys!

Never have I seen such joy in a slice of cake, from its shape, to its colours, texture and taste. I would love to see them shown fully decorated cakes, I am amazed by them so I wonder what they would think?
I would love to go out to eat with these guys in NY City for a week straight. Hit all the great restaurants and pastry shops from China Town to little Italy and every where between. I would also have to include several places on Arthur Ave ,Rao's, Katz deli on Houston, Ferrara's bakery , lemon ice king in Queens just to name a few. I know Chaudray would love the Italian desserts!! A bunch of great guys!

I loved how they play & analyzed the hell out of the cake & then after tasting it... Didn't want to stop eating it. Wish they would've been told the translation to - 3 milks. They probably do make similar but might not have couple ingredients, available there.
