I bought a 2015 four days ago .It consumes alot of gasoline if you accelerate and floor it alot. But oh man , it is a good , capable car and what it can do in off roading makes it worth the money you spend on gasoline.
I didn't expect the 3.5 engine to perform as good as the 3.8 or at least come close to it , but it turned out to be a false notion. The 3.5 engine has enough power and the torque it provides is almost equivalent to that of 3.8 .
3.5=313 Nm or 230 lb.ft at 3500 rpm.
3.8 =329 Nm or 242 lb.ft at 2750 rpm.
P.S. before the Pajero I had a 2016 corolla with a cvt transmision and I don't regret selling it and buying the pajero after I saw what it is capable of doing.

thanks for the awsome review , i've been looking alot for a review of the facelifted pajero but i didn't find it until now ,
but the pajero in russia is alot different from the pajero that we have in the gulf , the things i noticed is the engines , here we have a 3.5 and a 3.8 petrol engines and also i noticed that in here the pajero have panoramic sunroof , gold emblems , rockford acoustic 12speaker system , wood accents , 3rd row seats , i might missed a few things but the point is your pajero , have less specs , i dont know why , here he price is 29k usd for all of this , thanks for the tour :)

A great in depth review but may be u forgot to cover up about front shocks,heated side mirrors,sunroof(optional),mentioning ladder chassis or unibody type,headlamps washer,rear fog lamps,spare tyre unmonting,60:40 middle seats ratio and third row seats.May be most of these are optional in Russia.
