I’m pretty sure I’ve seen an interview where Henrik said sometimes if he got kicked out of the draw he’d skate over to his brother and just skate back to the dot without switching lmao
Love seeing the Sedin twins randomly mentioned by a non-hockey fan. My 2 favourite players of all time and are both rightfully in the Hockey Hall of Fame after a 17 year career on the same line for the Canucks.
if you are standing close to the ref and he recognizes your face, will he really check the number as well? that shit makes it sound like its some fbi or such place where you need to carry an id card to be allowed to stay there.. also makes me think what if sometime players dad or something wore a jersey and came on the ice. would he be allowed to play like its nothing and officials think he is the player
In my league there is this dumb rule that if you have a sibling all the siblings play in on team so when it came to the draft there were triplets this team drafted one and got three
Bitch I might be!! What y’all know about that can y’all name it!? When he said that to the judge it was crazy 😂 happy he changed his life for the better
It’s definitely unfair, but little question, how does one make it and the other also do so, ik their raised to be a hockey sibling type thing, but what if one doesn’t wanna do that, so they are always recognized as their brother
Daniel Sedin was slightly better. But they both played in the mens international tournament at just 19. And the GM Brian Burke wasn’t that impressed with them on film. So Burke watched both Sedins play in person at the international tournament and Burke said it was like they shared the same mind and would know where the other would be for an open pass without even looking. Nearly became the first siblings to win a Stanley Cup together
@@Pikabo0 I am referring to when Brian Burke was preparing to draft them. Daniel looked better on film since he was a more common goal scorer. But Burke went to see them in person and that convinced him to draft them back to back. And neither Sedin wanted to join a team if he couldn't play with his brother. Daniel had the better NHL career goals or points scoring, but a lot of it was because of Henrik.
I’ve noticed it seems to be a common occurrence for siblings to both go pro. Hell most kids of pro players end up going pro it seems. Right now both St. Louis brothers play for my towns ushl team and both are pretty much a given to be going to the league.
They literally have different numbers… you don’t even need to look at their face so it doesn’t matter if they’re twins 😂 Just clock the number of the person making the infraction as it’s happening then there’s no confusion
And then they retired and the team went downhill from there
Oh the team was going downhill long before that
oh we were fucked after the 2011 finals, theres no coming back for us
Well as a islanders fan we went downhill last season and now we’re back uphill
Downhill is an understatement they fell off a fuckin cliff
HAHAHahahahahhhhhh yeah… 😢
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen an interview where Henrik said sometimes if he got kicked out of the draw he’d skate over to his brother and just skate back to the dot without switching lmao
Ya they did that a good bit actually lol
Did you have similar number to confuse the refs too? Like 66 amd 69 bc seems like it would be easy to catch the number
@@bmfsnc8466 22 and 33
that's genuinely hilarious, especially in a modern time where it seems like sports are so much more serious than they used to be.
@@bmfsnc8466 Not really, but they could have. If I was them, I would have used numbers 23 and 32, rather than 22 and 33.
Anyone else see that clip of them on the bench drinking water the exact same way at the exact same time?
It was vodka lol and wasn’t same time exactly was a half second off if u slowed it down
So basically one of them is half a second delayed
Ya know cuz there twins 😂
"Heinrick"
Thank god I’m not the only one melting away every time he says that
@@LordChunkyRuss same. Cringed every time
They both retired the same year after spending their entire careers with the Canucks
The Sedin twins. They were so awesome
It's hen-rick
I know these identical twins and whenever we play sports we dont let them on the same team because they are OP together

HEN-Rick (Pronunciation)
Maybe one day I'll cross the border to see a Canucks vs kraken game.
The Sedins are retired now and since they retired the Canucks have been a dumpster fire of a franchise
Hockey is the only sport that actually captures my attention, I'd love to see some videos highlighting goalies and how weird yet amazing they are.
Look up prime Carey price and Domick hasek and kippersof
Hen-rik, not hen-rike
he said Heinrick, but you are correct in what it should be
Henrik is all of a sudden German
Isn’t this why they use numbers on the Jerseys ?
Ya sports only allowed twins at first 😂
@@SlickRickMedia when did he say that
That's too advanced!
They've said they've changed jwrseyz..jerseys. since that's allll that's required for identical twins to literally get away with it lol

It's Henrik not Heinrich
Hen-Rick.
Not Hein-Rick
That’s why the nhl has siblings put their first initial on their nameplate
Hein-rik????? It’s just hen rick
The refs can know from the captains
As an identical twin we do a little bit of trolling 😈
It’s pronounced Hen-Rick btw
Wow that's insane
Heinrich Sedin? Isn’t it Henrik Sedin?
I❤ ur vids everyday
My two favorite players of all time. I miss the Canucks being good
I got a ball signed by both of the Bryan twins

It’s unrelated but my characters for my webcomic are identical twins that play for rival teams. Only one is a forward and the others a goaltender
the simpsons did it
Ok we get it you fuck up the “HENRIK” pronunciation so we comment you win.
I’m named after Daniel sedum cuase it’s my dads favourite hockey plsyer
Lol slick
Great guys and great players, but such babies when it came to them having to play with each other
Point totals speak for themselves. Two best players in franchise history.
Damn that’s funny
They had the #3 pick, traded for #4, used that to get 1st, then traded down to #2... please fact check next time
patriots the McCourty's

Who knows how many times they just switched jerseys for shits n gigs? I doubt their actual point totals are correct.
Would it be that much work to first check how to pronounce their names properly ?
wait did henrik was out of the sin bin but danny skated in the sin bin but henrik was supost to be in the sin bin
I am a identical twin…
Anyone a Jim Benning fan ……… 😔🔫

Day 114 of asking you to do a afl vid
Heinrich?
Go Canucks Go!!!!
Heinrich Sedin?
Sedin sisters
No cup
And 0 Stanley Cups! 😂

I'm confused about why this matters or was a big deal
Too bad they never won cup, doesn’t excuse the rioting tho
The Sedin Sisters

Hate to be that guy but that’s just not how twins work
“They mirror each other subconsciously” my ass
Sedins were trash anyways
