I just installed Raceland Ultimo coilovers on my Z this past weekend. I had them on my past Z as well and would buy them again. I’ll run them until I go with an air setup and since I got mine for $350 new it wasn’t a bad deal at all.
I got them from their (Raceland) ebay store. Ebay has deals all the time for either $15 off ($100 max) or more sometimes so when I saw that pop up, i had them in my watchlist and bought them at that time.
Thanks man, watched this video around 7 months ago when I was thinking about racelands. I bought them and they have been very good and simple and easy install including a video on youtube by Raceland. Also my car is a Focus ST
People buy coilovers just for the look of having their cars as low as they can. But coilovers are more than that. They were built as a better highspeed option than lower springs. The faster you go on coils, the better the ride. Try it!! Take a bump at 30MPH, and then take the same bump at 60-70MPH. My Miata has been with Tein Basis since 2010. In bumpy slow speed roads is kind of ruff, but in highways is a different story.
Hey I’m just looking to swap out my factory suspension with some decent Coilovers that will keep the stock feel at the very least cause I’m not trying to drop or track. I’m in a G37s. Looking for reliability and simple comfort for now. Thanks
@@crazyunprofessional6722 I ended up going with KYB shocks and they were really good just like the originals. Didn’t go with the coils. But I don’t have the car no more I sold it
Definitely not lying. It's the weirdest thing to me! I have the Flex Z and at slow speeds it's bumpy, but at higher speeds the coilovers feel like air ride suspension.
I love my Raceland coilovers for the Scion tC2. The car was already kinda fun to drive on stock suspension, but with the coilovers its a blast. Got them for like $400, hardest part was that the rear spring boots had to be cut in a specific way and my kit didn't come with the tiny little sheet that shows where to cut it. Quick email to Raceland and they shot me the PDF, was back up and running within like 20 minutes. Also called them about my bump stops, which they said to remove, but I just modified the bump stops and made them work since I didn't like the idea of not running them. But as for when you said that they come pre-assembled, mine did not. I had to transfer the tophat over.
I just installed my raceland último coilovers for my 06 350z and the ride is so freaking bouncy and getting a little worried . Am I supposed to drive them for 2 weeks or so to break them in ?
That's... Normal.. The bouncy feel is really how all coiovers feel cause it makes the ride stiff... Maybe its too stiff for you but too soft will make things hit and rub.
Do you have any Camber Issues? I have a 03 Z and debating Ultimos or Tein Street Basis. Just need to lower about 1-1.5" for what i want. Any sag to the coils as well?
Guys I found the solution for the rear coilovers being so loud and clanky that you don’t even wanna drive . I added an extra polyurethane bushing , huge nut, and flat washer to the Coilover assembly . Whatever sizes fit. Hope this helps someone
Any idea ob why my car shakes when accelerating? It onle happens from 20 to 30mph then i dont feel it anymore..im on coilovers not slammed just lowered about an inch...some people say to get new axles...do you think that will fix the shaking/wobble?
I have not got them checked...it was not doing it before i installed the coilovers tho.. Thats why i dont understand why it would be the axles..and if i do replace the axle..would the coilovers or the car veing low damage them?

@@DPrent what bags are you running?
Do they sell them for a G37s? Also where you get that cheap price?! I see the classics go for 500!
Young Jay - back then it was a sale going on.
This is one of the better Raceland reviews I've seen. Good, honest review after using the product for a significant time.

I have a FoST too. How did they hold up?
@@cptnscoob they are still on the car with no issues. They are a bit stiff, but for 400 or 500$ they have been awesome.
just lowered my 350 on some Raceland coils too. Theyre pretty sweet. Little bouncy, but good
Pulled the trigger once i saw this vid
Would you also recommend them?
How more bouncy than stock exactly?😬
Tokyo Nipples yes?!
love your videos b. this helped me decide I’d rather go w coilovers than bags

@@swervv2957 hey bro I was wondering what coils you ended up going with? And if you like em

Most newer performance cars now days comes with pretty stealth suspension most of them only needs lowering spring
You remind me of Evan shanks in a a good way
Lowso bro you should do a video on what you do for a living
Cool vlog bro thanks for the info on the coilovers. Dont sell the Z. Hope to see more soon. Peace out
How are the raceland classics? Also anyone have any track or canyon experience with racelands?
Honestly man keep the 350 but don’t drift it
cool love the info keep em comein

I’m saving up to buy them. Just need to replace the stock one since they are going out 😪

My car already had some of these on but I don’t have the key to adjust it. Is it just a universal thing? Or where do I get the tool to adjust it

i neef to see how you did this i have this problem on my g35 whats your insta
@@robertodoleo6675did you figure it out?
Perfect observation..thanks
Are they still doing good ?
I was needing to buy a set
I went with Eibach lowering springs
I understand the appeal for lowering springs, but I would never go for them, you just end up losing suspension travel.
Boooooo
Hey man thanks for the info! Don’t sell the Z
What did he say at 6:21-6:22 roberts?
So in your opinion is primos or Godspeed mono ss coils better ?
👌thanks for the info
I have a is300 Sportcross and I’m considering getting some but I’m scared of how it’s going to ride after 😭.
Good
Wonder how it compares to tein basic street
My racelands require my factory top hat
Please turn this into a drift car, you will love it!
No
Just save and get BC racing coils if you want coils best bang for your buck
I think BC is quantity over quality and they're overpriced.
You like spending money
Maryland yeahhhhhh
Im hearing so much squeaking noises. Just installed them on my z.
Yo they have the newer version of the Racelands. Their the primos and they're full adjustable for $500
Do u kno if they make them for the g37
@@swervv2957 I have the primos (blue) they're not bad
Alvin Ameyaw for a G?
Alvin Ameyaw how’s the ride compare to stock let’s say, on comfort and stifness?
Alvin Ameyaw I been trying to lol if they make the ultimos or primos for the G37s but no lol
Don’t sell it make it a drift car I live in Maryland too I plan on picking up a 350 for a project soon
Thats EXACTLY the problem with racelands they are all over the board they dont Specializes in only suspension for a particular line.
you should make the 350z a drift car :)) that can be fun
Pov driving would be sick?
@@LowSo yess 👌🏽🔥
I love this video and please don’t sell your 350z!!!😄😄😁
Great Vid
Don’t sell it bro drift drift drift !!!
Anything is better than stock suspension 👍🏽
Not really
Only good review video👌🏻
