- Another drive in the rain. The A20 coast bound was full of trucks but the run from West Hougham to Folkestone was trouble free!

It’s pronounced as Huf um but one word. Use some neat screen wash on a piece of cloth and wipe your wiper blades with it. It will remove a lot of muck and your wipers will be quiet.
Excellent suggestion. I’ll buy some today 👍
The Plough Inn is at Church Hougham pronounced Huffum
I had heard it pronounced but such a long time ago I’d forgotten. Thanks for the clarification 👍
Yep I’d been pronouncing it “Howam” so thanks for that!
Hey don’t all cars have to have some sort of lights on these days, ( I could be wrong) but yeah you are right about the rear lights.
Just a thought!
A lot of new cars have front running lights but the rear lights often don’t come on. I see this of an evening (especially on motorways) where drivers assume their lights are on because their dashboard is also illuminated - sadly the rear of their car is usually in darkness! 🤷🏻♂️
Can you do a Drive with care Chatham to Deal please , so it gives me the confidence to drive it please ❤ 😊 .x
Do you mean Chartham? Chatham to Deal would take ages 🤣
@@drivewithcare_uk LOL, or whitstable to deal 😊😆 x
Well Tudor not the best day for travelling, but there we are, we have no control over mother natures temperament. We just have to stick with it. It was still interesting from my point of view to see different routes into Folkestone of which this one i had never done before. That huge building opposite the bus station, What's the name of it now?. Was it Saga or something like that. Can you enlighten me. 🤔and i will as usual subscribe.
Yes Saga we’re using that building as their office as well as the main Saga building in Sandgate. I believe they relocated the town centre off out to Cheriton where the Channel Tunnel HQ used to be 👍
Thanks Tudor for that information, encouraging to know.
Huf um
Looks wierd when written like that 🤣 But thanks for the clarification 👍
