This is the best review of this pedal. Very well explained.

Good demo. It's a fine unit for the price of a bottle of booze. Professionals won't use it but I recommend it for all of its sounds except Gate. If you set the level at about 9 o'clock and use the different reverbs to "season" each song it's very useable. I bought mine mostly for the Modulate effect because chorus can be terrific but it can be queasy, so adding it to the reverb and not to the main signal works for me. So I would say the DR600 well worth having just for Modulate but you can use most of the other settings in moderation. It's a bit of a bargain.

Well done - this is actually a very useful review and saved me buying one of these as I'm really looking for a 'warm analogue' - type reverb, and you specifically point out that this pedal doesn't provide that kind of sound. Thankyou !
Only one slight criticism, as I'm sure you probably realised upon watching this video again later - the guitar is very slightly out of tune - which is more obvious on the bits where you strum whole chords, but not an issue when you do the later tests with more arpeggio-type playing.
Thankyou for putting some real effort into producing this video and providing very useful opinions on the sound - even with UA-cam videos it's almost impossible to get an accurate sense of how something like this sounds if you were in the room rather than through PC speakers (with all the loss of audio definition from UA-cam compressing the video so much), so your excellent communication skills in describing how it really sounds was essential to making a decision whether to buy this cheap pedal.
Now my problem is whether I really wanna spend £50+ on a decent reverb or just not use reverb and make sure I only play at VERY large venues LOL.
btw - this was me back in the day (playing bass) :

The reverb modes sound very similar, slightly plastic sounding?

i'm always curious about having 2 mono inputs for this pedal. Have you tried any setup using both inputs? thanks

Can I use it as a mixer? Connecting 2 sources to left and right input and connecting only one output? Will it output mono or just one side of stereo?

how do you connect this to a studio monitor that has a balanced input? do you use a y splitter cable on the studio monitor and mono only on the pedal or vice versa?

Thank you for this, but next time, let's hear the clean sound first without the pedal engaged. Otherwise, how can we tell what's what?

It’s cheap Chinese crap, however I have one, for 29$ I had to do it
I keep it very subtle and subdued on plate or gate
Anything at level sounds a mess as it can not deliver a signal of clarity or brightness

Shame this is for the electric guitar. Would have been nice if it could be used on other instruments. Owell.
