You totally killed it with the camera work, editing, & overall content. You put in some serious work on this video and it shows. Please keep the Powerstroke content coming for us 6.0 folk! 🔥
Josh props to you for all the hard work on this video. You did a great job all around and I enjoyed the driver interviews as well. I kept thinking while watching, he is doing this for us the viewers not for him. Matter a fact I always feel that way about your videos like your doing it for us and it’s a sacrifice for you. Thanks again best wishes for and family
Good quality video, loved the information on set ups the trucks were running along with the filming and editing. Your channel is getting better and better and the six liter sounds great and I’m glad it seems your channel is picking up traction I believe it’s well deserved self earned success my man 👍🏻
That intro and first couple minutes was fire man! The video editing is getting so much better, awesome to see. I'm not gonna lie bro that Powerstroke is growing on me, I hated those wheels when I saw them but it looks so good rolling down the track. RIP Tom I know everyone is thinking about you.
killer video! how about that dmax at about 35:37? sounds a tad angry lol i love how you appreciate all engines, i have quite the slew tooo and know the ups and downs
Glad it was a fun weekend and safe! Always good to see the driver interview content. Cool to hear the stories of how the guys got to where they are with their trucks.
Josh , like the race interviews! letting us know what they do & what got them involved .... really cool . great job on the all around video! thanks. "Tom " We will never forget!!
Nice video and great driver interviews and clearly people haven’t heard mechanics vehicles suffer because a mechanic spends so much time dialing in perfectly the customer car that their own vehicles suffer. I can attest to how true a statement that is so remember Josh shop wouldn’t be as busy or successful as they are if they where not producing high quality work.
I'm surprised how many of these guys put so much money into the top end of their truck and their transmission but left the bottom end stock. First thing I did just poking around 650whp is I put waggler street fighters in my truck.
My guess is if it's not broke don't fix it. Blocks are pretty easy to come by, and if these guys are anything like me they have a few long blocks sitting around anyway. I do agree if you gotta pull the motor for some reason then toss some rods in, standard main studs and open the clearance a bit. But so many 3rd gens live for years at 900-1100 with stock rods, especially drag racing with a big single huge injectors and moderate timing.
@@joshuaquilliam2887 Where I live coming by cheap trucks for their blocks is not very easy. Mainly I wanted to only have to pull my trucks engine apart once. I was still wrong and ended up having to fire ring it, but I don't want to have to run something I know could fail and have to have replacements for it. It's nice for security sense of mind, I actually just blew up my tcase couple months ago. Those 271s are hard to get.
@@horsetorquesdiesel When I built my truck I put waggler street fighters in it and I main studded the bottom end but since I have main studs that get in the way of the stock girdle what kind of horse power should I be worried about my block with without the stock girdle?
I was just looking at his in cab shots, and man Ford had their shit together when they made that King Ranch. I have an 04 and 05 Cummins both Laramies and they are like an XL in comparison.

You couldnt have picked a better person than Austin Denny. Great choice.
Love it!
You nabbed a sharp looking 6.0. I'd drive that.
Day 21 of cheering on Josh. GO JOSH!!!!!

The in cab camera reminds me of Keeter's old video when the radio fell out. 😅

Big HP, low torque will keep a bottom end together for a long time

What size 6.0 injector and turbo setup will make 1,000 hp?
No clue honestly never built one that high
I’m doing a 472 330/150s for 800hp on fuel 1000 on spray
I’m looking to get a s480 in the future but can’t figure out what injector size to get. Any ideas?

What engine is in the black vette?
Cummins
@horsetorquesdiesel I saw it was a cummins later on. It definitely has a different sound to it I thought maybe it was a Mercedes diesel or something.
@@mikebougher3731it had a custom tube exhaust manifold/header that contributes to the unique sound.
