MARTY, try to find rock bands that use 1st inversion open and barre chords and 2nd inversion open and barre chords. Most Rock bands mostly use root position open chords and barre chords but i would like to know which rock songs use 1st inversion and 2nd inversion chords. STP guitarist uses a lot of jazz chords because his bother the bassist Robert Deleo songwriters most of the STP songs so the chords are not normal root position chords. Hendrix was using 1st inversion chords but not sure if he used 2nd inversion chords.
I ended up grabbing the EVH Crybaby Wah pedal and so now it's on my board probably for good. Lol ⚠️ Would love to ask you a pedal question if I could Marty? What pedal would you recommend to give that duel guitar Boston sound? Boss PS6? Just for a mono one amp not wet/dry. Instead of running through Pro Tools or a Rockman rig. Is there one pedal that you know of that can produce the sound? Like the lead on We're Ready? Thanks man, sorry to run off topic. Awesome video 🎸
Hard call man really... I always thought the Boston sound was a bit of a notched mid tone. Not so heavy on bass or treble. It appears to have a pretty wide chorus in there too at times. Sometimes I think a notched cry baby opened to the right tone duplicates it well. The lead tone was really heavily overdriven. Perhaps a DS1 in the mix for gain?

Yes Stevie ray. I was forced to take my girlfriend to see the moody blues in 1983. Show was at Buffalo memorial auditorium. Wasn't happy. Show started and Stevie walked out on stage.he wasn't on the ticket. One of the greatest shows ever
Man, that was an amazing stroke of luck on your part! And very fortunate. I lucked out and got to see Stevie Ray Vaughan at Cornell University when I was 15. It was the tour right after couldn't stand the weather. What a life-changing moment, and really kind of by chance.

@@TylerJohnstonGuitar it's really light weight man. I had a red slash Dunlop crybaby that was so heavy. I didn't really like the tone of it as well. I shed a tear when I toasted my original 535Q around 2005
