Iskander-M deals a devastating blow to the mock enemy

- The missile formation of the Air Defence Forces carried out launches of missiles of the Iskander complex at important targets of the mock enemy with fire support from the Soutern MD missile artillery formation equipped with the Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system. During the exercise, the crews of the Iskander missile system practiced the standards for transferring the complex from the traveling position to the combat position. Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles were launched into the air to detect targets.

@@Ram-1231 I live in the USA as well but was born in Eastern Europe. Russia’s weapons are exceptional. Sometimes crude but when it comes to it, the simplest weapons will win a war. They would operate in the harshest conditions without fail. There is something beautiful about their tech.

A lot of our technology was stolen from Russia in case you didn't know that.. Like night vision, they first put it on a sniper rifle in their early afghanistan conflict. Before it was even officially at war, they had special forces units and we ( to the best of my knowledge it was USA ) killed the guy with the NV score on a sniper rifle.

I believe that many of us would like to see impact and destruction caused by the Iskander missile. Heavy flame thrower is terrifying as well and it would be nice to see aftermath of the impacted zone because they say that all is scorched by extremely high temperature.

Iskander is the same as any SRBM with a thermonuclear warhead.

Its not "the same as any" ballistic missile. Thats utter nonsense.
Iskander-M - impossible to intercept for now, can carry a nuke. And Hurricanes or Tornadoes - like Grad but much more distance and much more TNT load, covers a huge areas even at 120km. If they catch the convoys on the march, or even after march but before dispersal of forces - it's all over... no more warriors.

The Iskander is such a pretty missile complex/family of rockets. It combines the aesthetic and engineering lineage of the V2/A4 series with step-wise increasingly more modern avionics and materials. The distinct graphite steering vanes in the exhaust are what make it for me. A fearsome missile, if all the claimed stats and abilities are true. Who knows with military secrets? And, whatever a "quasiballistic missile" is, there may not be much value in maneuvering around in the way it apparently can. In my eyes, it would help to soak up interceptor missiles from the enemy's magazine and make it harder to shoot down later missiles. Eroding the BMD screen, such as it is.

The ISKANDER M, is a missile with incredible destructive power, only they limited it to not exceeding the distance of 500 kilometers by the INF treaty, but with incredible electronic warfare countermeasures will be very difficult oh impossible to detect.
It can easily extending it range if they want. The designed allows it to be long range tactical balistic which can go over 500km, Soviet/Russia designed to surpassed this restriction and just dime it down to meet the restriction
I don't know what you mean, there was a short- and medium-range missile treaty here, the INF, and that treaty prohibited the installation of short- and medium-range missiles on land shuttles, they could not exceed 500 kilometers of range on land shuttles, if it could be on air and sea shuttles and as the Us abandoned the INF treaty, as Russia will already be able to give more reach to the ISKANDER and the TSIRKON and KINZHAL will also have land shuttles as well

The smerch BM 30 launcher fired two rockets right seconds after two Iskandar missiles were fired . I think that's bcoz these rockets were expendable rocket launched drones that would relay images of targets post missile impact to verify missiles' accuracy....
